Roses on the mountain, on Fiałki Hill. If you haven't heard of this charming village in the area where a glacier once marched, it's time to write it down in the slow tourist's diary. It's here, nestled in a meadow, that our house stands, where we're spending our happy retirement. It's just how we like it: peaceful and in harmony with nature, to which Ewa has dedicated her entire professional life. Facing the house, there's a second house, entirely for you. It has a ground-floor bedroom, a mezzanine with a large bed, and a fireplace that crackles merrily in the evenings. And the décor is perfect for those who, instead of modern glazing, prefer antiques, a pastoral atmosphere, and blue shutters. The house is surrounded by an abundance of flowers, and from the terrace, you can sometimes spot neighbors: a stork, a hoopoe, or a deer. This is a place for those who crave peace, need to feast their eyes on greenery, and forget what city they're from. Let them spend a few days with Fiałki on the edge of the Górzno-Lidzbark Landscape Park, where life moves in harmony with nature. We won't guarantee a festival of attractions, but we will tell you where to go for a bike ride, which route to take to the lake, and where to best hear the rutting in September. If simplicity and coziness are what you're looking for, we're starting to light the fireplace for you.

We invite you to enjoy your own home, which consists of a living room with a kitchenette, a bedroom, a mezzanine, and a bathroom. The bedroom has two beds: one single and one fold-out, which can sleep up to two people. The mezzanine has a double mattress. If necessary, you can sleep on the sofa in the living room. There is also a fold-out cot for a child.

The bathroom has a walk-in shower and a wheelchair-accessible toilet. The house has no thresholds, and all doors are at least 90 cm wide.

There is also an outdoor shower with hot and cold water.

Meals are self-catering. The kitchen is equipped with essential appliances, dishes, spices, coffee, and tea.

There are two restaurants within 2-3 km (Wapionka and Zdrojowa). You can also order pizza (pick up in Górzno) or pierogi from the boarding house in Jagódka. Fresh eggs and good honey are available in the village, and fresh vegetables, fruit, dairy products, and bread are available at the Górzno market. Refreshing water from the Górzno deep well flows from the tap.

Fiałki lies among hills, forests, and lakes, within the Górzno-Lidzbark Landscape Park.

This area is perfect for those who prefer a forest path to a crowded promenade.

You can go for a walk, hop on a bike, head to the lake, or simply stay put.
The area offers attractive hiking and biking trails, lakes, and even a ride on a bicycle-powered train.

Nature lovers have plenty of reasons to watch and listen. Near the house, you can spot wild animals. In September, if nature allows, you can hear the deer rutting. Cranes can be heard in the area for much of the year, storks appear in the meadows in summer, and in spring, you can spot hoopoes.

There are also apiaries nearby where you can buy local honey, and farms where you can find farm eggs.

We do not guarantee sightings of wild animals, rutting season, or specific weather. We can promise you, however, that nature is truly close by.

Two kilometers from us is the municipal beach in Górzno, with excellent infrastructure. Lifeguards are on duty during the summer season, and you can also rent kayaks and pedal boats. Two more lakes are a dozen or so kilometers away – Piaseczno and Wlecz, with beaches. Regulars and experts alike claim that the surrounding lakes offer excellent conditions for stand-up paddleboarding. Kayaking is available from nearby Lidzbark Welski or Kurzętnik.

Just a dozen or so years ago, Górzno was the triathlon capital of Poland. Conditions for this sport remain excellent here.

Above all, natural, wild nature, peace and quiet, beautiful sunsets in the evenings, and later a wide, uninterrupted view of the starry sky.

If the children tire of the peace and quiet, they can head to the rope park in Górzno by the lake or to the Soap Village in Fiałki, which offers workshops on old farm activities such as soap-making, oil pressing, and laundry on historic washboards. There's also mini-golf.

On the mezzanine, there's a desk perfect for a laptop or documents. A large table in the living/dining room offers a larger workspace. Wireless internet from Orange works flawlessly. Those who don't mind the peace and quiet, birdsong, and beautiful views can work on the terrace.
