At a glance

From the beginning, it was a home for extraordinary people. Built in 1904, it was designed by Karol Stryjeński. The villa combined the Zakopane style with architectural solutions that were modern for the time. Visitors included Witkacy, Julian Tuwim, Jan Kasprowicz, Leopold Staff, Maria Pawlikowska-Jasnorzewska, and Michał Choromański. In 1987, our mother, Ewa Harasimowicz, a grandmaster of bridge, bought the house. She lived there with her partner, Marcin Leśniewski, also a grandmaster of bridge, for nearly 40 years. The villa once again became a meeting place for exceptional people from the world of culture, art, and sport. We still remember the New Year's Eve we spent here with Agnieszka Osiecka.

Now we are giving the villa a new lease of life and inviting guests who want to experience the atmosphere of old Zakopane. Perched high above the city, it offers 140 meters of privacy and a stunning view of the Tatra Mountains, yet is just a short walk from the center. You may love bridge or poetry, but you don't have to. We, on the other hand, love hosting guests, suggesting lesser-known gems in the area, and helping organize guided tours. Come visit us; we'll be waiting for you on the trail to Gubałówka.

We've been married for almost 30 years. We live in Zakopane. The mountains are our second home, so all the most interesting trails are within easy reach. We're fortunate to have four children, with whom we share many passions. We love sports – we play tennis and basketball together, ride bikes, and snowboard, ski, and ice skate in the winter. We're also theater and cinema fans. For many years, we've been hosting those who want to experience the mountain atmosphere. This brings us great joy and satisfaction. We also offer modern electric bike rentals, with guided tours and souvenir drone videos available.
