At a glance
There's never a dull moment on the Brda, as this charming river changes like the seasons. Sometimes it meanders lazily, sometimes it rushes swiftly through forests and landscape parks. Along with the river's currents, the colors and scents of the forest change, as does the rhythm of the splashing and roaring water. Therefore, there's always something happening on its banks, and even if you don't have any specific plans, the nature around us will surely surprise you with its richness. Just sit on a terrace or balcony, gaze and listen. And when you feel the Brda awakening your spirit of adventure, rent kayaks or electric bikes and set off with its current. Or against it. We'll be happy to provide you with a breakfast basket full of filling goodies and recommend the most picturesque corners of the forest and the best mushroom-picking spots. We invite you for lazy weekends, family celebrations (let us know, we'll think of something special!), and active escapes from the city in the company of the queen of Borowia rivers.

We are Ada and Wojtek, and we've always felt most comfortable close to nature. Over time, we've increasingly appreciated places where you can truly slow down, take a break from the daily grind, and simply be in peace.
That's how Szum Rzeki was born – from the need to create a place we ourselves would love to visit for a few days. Intimate, comfortable, surrounded by forest and close to the Brda River, but above all, one where you don't need anything.
We wanted to create something more than just a place to stay. A place with positive energy, meticulously crafted, where the sounds of the forest awaken you in the morning, where you can spend the day cycling, kayaking, or walking, and in the evenings, simply slow down and enjoy the peace.
We create Szum Rzeki ourselves and put a lot of heart into it. We enjoy paying attention to detail, suggesting places to go and see for our guests, while also giving them space and freedom. We want everyone to be able to spend their time here exactly how they want.
Because that's exactly what we were looking for when we created Szum Rzeki – a place where nature reminds us that sometimes it's really worth slowing down.
