There are no neighbors in sight, even though the house is situated in the village, and you can sometimes hear or meet someone. This has its advantages, as just a few steps away you can buy local produce and eggs, which taste best on the terrace overlooking the water, prepared in the old-fashioned kitchen or over the fire. The plot is spacious and allows all four-legged and two-legged creatures to roam freely. We didn't build a fence because we didn't feel the need to create a boundary between our habitat and nature. However, there's enough space to play badminton or volleyball, or relax in the hot tub without prying eyes.

For us, the real magic comes from the fire – the one in the fireplace, where we gather in the evenings with family or friends, or the one in the bonfire, where we sit late into the night under the starry sky. Magic also lies in the creaking stairs, the wooden beams, and the lake and moraine hills that unfold all around. We're in the heart of the Rospuda Valley, so kayaking on the Rospuda and Hańcza rivers is wonderful, and pedaling through the wild forests and peat bogs is equally enjoyable. But it often happens that the old house casts a spell on new guests, and they suddenly forget all their ambitious plans. They prefer to enjoy the tranquility and unhurried atmosphere of the settlement. Come and see if you'll be enchanted too.

This wooden house from 1926 stands where the road ends and silence begins – nestled in the Rospuda Valley, right on the shores of Lake Kamienne. No neighbors in sight, no rush. Just fields, water, sky, and you.

The house has a soul you can feel from the moment you step inside – creaking stairs, wooden beams, the smell of fireplace smoke. The two-story interior can accommodate up to 14 people – perfect for a family reunion, a friends' getaway, or a multi-generational get-together under one roof. In the evenings, everyone gathers by the fireplace or bonfire.

The two-story house has 230 m², 4 bedrooms, and 3 bathrooms. The ground floor is open-plan, with a kitchen, dining room, and living room with a fireplace. Everyone will find their own corner!

The most enjoyable part of the experience is cooking together in the atmospheric, country kitchen. You can buy local meats and cold cuts nearby, as well as dairy products from a nearby dairy. We recommend eggs from Mr. Wojtek's farm next door, cold cuts from the nearby butcher's shop in Olecko, and bread from Przerośl. It's worth starting with breakfast on the terrace overlooking the lake.

You'll have to make an effort to get bored here. Our private pier leads directly to the lake. Kayaks and stand-up paddleboards are available for guests' use.

Bikes are also available on site, and there are Green Velo bike paths all around.
Hammocks are available in the garden for those who want to laze around.
In the evenings, everyone gathers around the fireplace or bonfire. The fire works its magic.
We also recommend kayaking on the Rospuda or Czarna Hańcza Rivers.

One of the places worth seeing in the area, especially in autumn, is the Romnicka Forest, often called the "Polish taiga." This forest includes, among other places, the Stańczyki Bridges and vast expanses of forest and peat bogs.

You can also use the outdoor hot tub (for a fee).

There's plenty of natural play space for children, so they can spend their holidays here just like at Grandma's in the countryside. They usually don't want to leave the dock or get out of the lake. We also have books and badminton rackets.

Internet access is available, but we recommend using it only as a last resort. Our place is perfect for true relaxation!
