Too far to the Adriatic? There's also the Turquoise Lagoon in Strzelce. No more hours of packing or traffic jams in a highway tunnel. The color of its waters owes its post-mining history, as sand and gravel were once mined here. Today, the former quarry serves those who want to get out on the water from Wrocław in less than an hour. Is that you? We invite you to the Trzebnica Hills and Barycz Valley area.

We offer a lifeline to families who need three bedrooms for everyone to rest well. Or groups of friends looking for a truly comfortable weekend getaway. One with additional amenities: a hot tub included and... a tennis court. For those who want to take to the wide, turquoise waters, there are stand-up paddleboards, and for those who just want to gaze at them, there's a terrace with comfortable loungers. The water is in front of you, and the forest behind you: nature will surround you here like a green and blue blanket. We're just letting you know, loyally, that you won't be completely alone here – there are two other cottages nearby, and the reservoir itself is a fishing spot for water squirrels. However, the water areas around the cottages are yours alone. Come and have a swim: on a SUP, in the bubble baths, or on comfortable hotel beds, and finally get a good night's sleep.

Our two cottages are located in the village of Strzelce in Lower Silesia, 40 km from Wrocław. The Turquoise Reservoir is located here, and you'll find them by the lake. This 30-hectare reservoir was created by flooding an aggregate quarry. You can swim in the reservoir, for example, on a stand-up paddleboard, and you'll have direct access to the water.

Currently, we only rent one of our cottages on Slowhop. It sleeps 6 people (accommodation for an additional 2 in extra beds and 2 children is also possible).

Inside the cottage you'll find:

On the ground floor:
- a living room with a kitchenette,
- a double bedroom,
- a bathroom.

On the first floor:
- 2 bedrooms, each with a private bathroom.

Outside: a terrace with a barbecue, a hot tub, a tennis court, and, most importantly, water.

On-site, you'll find a comfortable and modern kitchenette, allowing you to easily prepare meals without the hassle. You'll find an oven, microwave, stovetop, and coffee maker. There's also a grill.

And if you'd like a pleasant start to your mornings, we can deliver breakfast baskets straight to your door. We know that food tastes better when someone else serves it.

On-site, you'll find a hot tub and a beach, and if you prefer exercise to lounging, there's a tennis court, SUPs, and a sports field.

You can enjoy a car-free day: a barbecue on the patio, a beach, a hot tub, and the program ends. Or begins.

Biking is one of the best ways to explore the area. Flat trails lead along causeways between ponds, forests, and meadows. They're even suitable for children.

Or maybe you'll head to Milickie Ponds? This is the largest complex of fishponds in Europe. Bring your binoculars: over 270 species of birds live here, so herons, cranes, and white-tailed eagles have a good chance of appearing in your line of sight." – You can also take a walk along the dykes, spot birds from towers and lookouts, or simply explore the land where carp is a local celebrity.
– Still not enough water? The Barycz Valley also has kayaking routes. The Barycz is one of the slowest rivers in Poland, so you don't have to worry about extreme sports.

We cordially invite you to visit with your children. Please note, however, that the house is located directly on the water. Therefore, we believe it is best suited for parents with very young children or older children. For your children's safety, please assess whether they are ready for a visit to a house on the lake. If so, they will surely enjoy paddling on the SUP board provided on site.

We have good internet, and a desk is in one of the bedrooms. If we were you, we'd enjoy the water and forest here and leave work at home.
