On the crest of the Karkonosze range, Weranda rises to the sky with a view carefully guarded by the Mountain Spirit - Liczyrzepa. The Prussian house, like from the Brothers Grimm fairytale, is the last building on Wiejska Street. There is Rapunzel's tower, there are hidden stairs, twisted like the magic beanstalk, there are cordial hosts. Bring a 14 man ring team, comfortable hiking boots, skis and good moods. The rest of what's necessary for a blissful rest is waiting on the spot.
Sometimes the panorama is flooded with 3.2% milk and then the peaks are hidden in the fog, once a year it will always cover the road to Weranda so much that it is difficult to get here. Then it's worth thinking seriously about the tire chains. However, each season has its charms. With a wide panorama of green humps, golden leaves, snow covers and grey mornings. Everyday delights guaranteed. Sun loungers and a place for a campfire with a view are already waiting for you.
We invite you to an unusual place with a history that we are still getting to know. We have elegance, aesthetics, delicious breakfasts and are close to trails and skiing. We are waiting for you.
In an old house with fragrant wood in Szklarska Poręba Dolna. You will find it at the intersection of hiking and biking trails, 5 minutes from the train station, so you can also reach us by train. There is a fireplace in the living room, and there the flame rises upwards, the house is full of warmth when you need silence, but also joyful conversations and children's laughter. In the well-equipped kitchen, you can make a fragrant mulled wine, eat breakfast in the dining room with a view of the Karkonosze Mountains, and at dinner time, light a fire and admire the stars that are closer here than anywhere else. Satisfied faces, muted thoughts, moments full of conversations - that's what we like best. We hope you will appreciate it too.
At your disposal is the whole house for a group of about 14 people. In the Veranda you will find 2 double rooms, 2 triple rooms and a two-room studio for 4 people with a kitchenette and an extra bed.
In each room you will find an independent bathroom and a TV set. Two rooms have a balcony with a breathtaking view. You can use the free Wi-Fi internet throughout the house. Though sometimes his speed isn't thrilling. However, telephones are worth switching to airplane mode here - give yourself a moment for electronic detox.
We are childish and we know that a holiday with the little ones is double the amount of luggage. You will find some equipment for a comfortable holiday on the spot:
- a high chair,
- potty / toilet seat,
- baby bath,
- a cot with bedding.
Other amenities include: a large parking lot, barbecue area, winter equipment for children, bikes upon prior reservation.
Dogs are also welcome with us. So take pets, because running places are abundant.
We put the house in your hands and it is the same with the kitchen, basically two. The first, fully equipped one, is located on the ground floor and there you have a space for a culinary show. There is everything you need for great cooking and intimate meals. Dirty dishes will wash themselves in the dishwasher, and the clothes will be taken care of by the washing machine. The second kitchen, i.e. a smaller annex, is located in a two-room studio on the first floor. There you also have the option of cooking, making tea or heating milk soup. Breakfast, lunch and dinner can be enjoyed in the dining room, and evenings with mulled wine will be complete in the living room by the fireplace. Fresh fruit and drinks for those thirsty will be waiting for you in the dining room.
It's best to go to the store to get supplies by car, because with us everything is uphill and on foot you can have a nice farmer's Pudzian-style walk.

Two people can fit in our hammock, tested! And there are many more people hungry for rest on the deckchairs.
What’s there for children?
Our children like to get up early in the morning, stay in the porch and catch butterflies. They also enjoy short walks, so that their feet do not hurt, because pushing the stroller up the hill is quite a challenge for parents. They swing in hammocks, and in winter they love waist-deep snow, sleds, apples and yeti-sized snowmen. Roe deer coming to the windows, blueberries picked straight in the hand and lighting a fire with daddies. Such natural delicacies that you should look for in the city.
There are many attractions related to nature and winter equipment waiting for the kids.
