Barcinek is a small, picturesque village near the Karkonosze Mountains, which could be shared by many Polish resorts with its spa history. In the 19th century, a Swiss - Brewhaus noticed that the local microclimate resembled the then fashionable Swiss Davos and that is why in 1887 he built a spa, which quickly became a luxurious place to rest. The spa bubble burst when a few years before the outbreak of World War II, a small village - then called Berthelsdorf - was decided to be transformed into a sanatorium for Luftwaffe officers. After the end of the military struggle, it was decided that the village would continue to receive soldiers and politicians. There was even an idea to create a summer residence for Bolesław Bierut here. This is just an outline of the legends and history of Barcinek...
Several dozen years later, the village can still boast a wonderful, mountain microclimate, sheep walking their own paths, ruins of an old sanatorium, over 100-year-old houses, and above all, numerous honey products - the name of the village comes from wild beehives! This is where an amazing ranch is waiting for you...
Under two thatched roofs, there are resin-scented rooms for over 20 people. From the outside, the half-hectare area is surrounded by mountain walls, which were built with stones from the Dunajec riverbed in the Tatra Mountains.
Behind the fence, it is not worse. The area is enchanting with the proximity of the Lily of the Valley, the Bóbr Valley, the Izerskie Foothills and the beautiful Karkonosze Mountains, known as the Sudetes Tatras. There is a place for laziness, reading by the fireplace, sledges, cross-country skiing, bicycles, kayaks and board games. There is great love for animals and patience with little rascals. It promises to be relaxing in full swing!
I am waiting for you with an open heart and Zenek and Józek - four-legged friends from Barcinek.
An ecological roof, a nearby forest and mountain air mean a lot, but not everything. At Ranczo, we put a lot of emphasis on the selection of mattresses to make your sleep feel like it used to be. You have two houses to choose from. One for 10 people, the other for a 20-person crew. We made sure that you didn't miss anything. There is plenty of space with a library full of bestsellers, DVDs with TV series, a fireplace for cool evenings, a well-equipped kitchen and all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay.

We decided to give you the entire cottages exclusively. We don't want to limit you in anything, wander around the kitchen or impose our own rules. We simply trust our guests, which is why you get a fully equipped, large kitchen at your disposal. Bake cakes, make dumplings, fry pancakes and waffles and don't worry about baking trays, a rolling pin, a special frying pan or a waffle iron. We took care of everything! And if you run out of recipes, look at the walls or visit your home library.
If you're feeling lazy one day, 20 minutes. There is a great fresh fish place within a walk of the Ranczo. And if your legs get tired after climbing, you can order a delicious pizza and have it delivered to your door! The village shop with fresh bread is located only 100 m from the Ranczo.
We couldn't leave you in the lurch when it comes to local products. The Country Housewives' Association from Barcinek, well-known throughout the region, agreed to prepare handmade dumplings, croquettes with forest mushrooms and pancakes with cottage cheese for the guests of the Ranch, and for those with a sweet tooth, the housewives have prepared many types of cakes ;) The cut is watering! The rural menu is available at the link:

Boredom has no chance of survival here! If you plan to take a break from everyday life and duties, the Pod Strzechą Ranch is the perfect place for a mental rest. Unfortunately, it will be a bit worse with the physical ... There are a million attractions in the area!
Murmurs, scooters, pumps, bicycles. And more specifically:
- Downhill? Of cors. Only 15 minutes by car and you are racing on the slope to Szklarskie Poręba.
- Cross-country skiing? Sure thing! After all, there is Polana Jakuszycka - the best place in Poland, as Justyna Kowalczyk says.
- Sledges are even equipped! We also have colorful apples and lots of hills.
- Bicycles? The same question ... I think everyone knows Maja Włoszczowska from Jelenia Góra. The pride of our area promoted the local bicycle routes throughout Europe!
- Kayaks? No problem! There is Bóbr, there is Pilchowickie Lake, and if you prefer stronger experiences, we have rafting on mountain waterfalls for you.
- Water bikes? Sure! The views on our reservoirs are breathtaking.
- Volleyball? Absolutely, after all, Poles are World Champions! In the Ranch you will play a sand net.
- Badminton? Yes, we can!
- Boule? Oui, oui (łi, łi).
- On foot? Why not? You can and in Barcinek, you can around the area, you can also get to the top. You can see the Queen of the Giant Mountains from the Ranch itself!
- Pets? There are probably more of them in the village than just people! Zagroda Rancza has 7 sheep, and our neighbors have hens, rabbits, goats and other wonders & lt; 3
- Plants? Come on! It's very green all around. We have the Lily of the Valley Forest, the Landscape Park of the Bóbr Valley and many Natura 2000 areas. It is a sign that we have something to protect.
Each house has a nearly 100-meter terrace where you can sit in comfortable deckchairs. The only thing left for you to decide is whether you choose a local guide, one of nearly 150 items from the bookcase or simply enjoying the countryside views and mountain air.
During a bad weather, hide under the Thatch and watch 1 of 10 seasons of our favorite series - The Ranch, play cards, eurobusiness or poker. You can also choose from puzzles and darts.
What’s there for children?
Take children and polite dogs with you to Barcinek! In the Ranch itself, teddy bears, a collection of bedtime stories, puzzles and blocks are waiting for the little ones. In front of the houses, we have put up a huge trampoline that can carry 150 kg of happiness, in front of us there is a modern Primary School and Orlik with a multifunctional playground and a colorful playground, and in the summer we put a specific swimming pool in our garden. Polite quadrupeds do not need to take with them bowls, lairs, and even less a leash. We have everything in stock (except for a leash, because we value freedom in the countryside), and the area of the Ranch is fenced with a decent mountain wall. Even Zenek and Józek - our little white Maltese dogs - will not squeeze through the gate. With this whiteness it happens differently ...
