We know a place where guests sleep like babies (those without colic), where the most stressed will find tranquillity, and who are busy will effectively isolate themselves from the world.
Antoniów 13 has become a home base for all-day cycling, walking and running trips. Every year, friendly cyclists come to us for a weekend with MTB and Pilates training. But those looking for a break will also find their oasis here - they can take their time drinking coffee, reading a book in total peace or playing cards in the warm light of the fireplace.
Over 10 years ago, somewhat by chance, we became the owners of a beautifully situated, over 100-year-old, crumbling house with a beautiful soul... and we decided to save this soul. It took us a few years, but the result exceeded our wildest expectations, and the "A13" house has become our refuge and a place where we recharge our batteries for the fight against everyday life.

In a completely renovated over 100-year-old house in the village of Antoniów, the hallmark of which are beautiful half-timbered houses.
We have made bedding for you in three bedrooms: a double bedroom with a huge 180 cm bed and a fireplace, a double bedroom with two beds (140 cm wide each) and a quadruple bedroom with four single beds (90 cm wide each), which we call the "Dwarf Room". The house has two bathrooms, a kitchen, a living room with a dining area. The house is comfortable for 8 people.
We love sport and we perfectly understand that training must be systematic. Therefore, in the largest bedroom you will find a mini gym armed with a punching bag, bench, dumbbells and kettle. The sculpture will not be made by itself, and you will take care of its mass during the evening barbecue or bonfire.
Our advice: on cool evenings, light the fireplace in the living room to create a festive atmosphere. We will prepare the wood for you.
You can store your bikes on the closed porch (for those who don't mind the mud and puddles, we have prepared a bicycle washing station), and you can park 3 cars under the house.
We provide fully equipped kitchens, but do not feed, so culinary skills are highly desirable here. At the local eco market in Jelenia Góra, you can stock up on the fridge, and conjure up delicious meals on the ceramic plate and in the oven. For those who are initiated and who value glass cooking, Thermomix is waiting for you in the wardrobe in the hall.
Don't worry about washing up - the dishwasher will do it for you. There is also a complete tableware including glassware, so don't forget the wine!
On Saturdays, at the Górskie Smaki Agricultural Market, local farmers sell organic food: butter, cheese, cold cuts, vegetables, fruit, bread, honey, juices, tinctures, herbs, flour, groats - there is a lot to choose from and prepare healthy meals.
Quite close (in Rębiszów) there is also a traditional bakery where we buy bread (available every day except Saturday from 4.30 pm to 6.30 pm), and in Piechowice, in the Uljanka bakery, we buy Karkonosze bread for a change - it is worth buying one loaf more than planned, because we eat it at way back home.
Also, remember to buy a sausage, because there is a place for a bonfire and grill near the house!
We have prepared a lot of recommendable places and put them together in a convenient catalog of nearby attractions: bicycle routes (single track, MTB), walking routes, ski routes, local architecture (Lower Silesian palaces), restaurants, local markets. We also have maps of the area and leaflets for local events for you. Take it and use it!
There is no boredom with us, even when it rains. In the house there are board games, cards, DVD movies, the table is ping-pong, balls and rackets and in the largest bedroom, apart from a relaxing fireplace, you will find sports equipment (bench, kettle, weights, jump rope, punching bag), which will allow you to do myself more desserts.
Rain is a great opportunity to visit museums (there are as many as 3 in Szklarska Poręba, and a little further in Karpacz, the famous museum of the Mountain Spirit), exhibitions and galleries. The rain itself can also be an attraction. Especially when it flows down a mountain river and comes across a rocky threshold. After heavy rains, both waterfalls in the vicinity of Szklarska Poręba: Kamieńczyk and Szklarka, are extremely spectacular.
But it is worth hiding from the heat… underground. In Krobnica, there is one of the oldest mining basins of various raw materials - the St. John. We encourage you to visit it not only for mine enthusiasts, because a trip through mining sidewalks is extremely colorful: the tin surrounding quartz deposits, iron and blood grenades are a feast for the eyes. The guides reveal the secrets of mining from the turn of the 16th and 17th centuries, discovering the dark world of mining pioneers.
It is also worth going on trips to Świeradów Zdrój and take a gondola to Stóg Izerski. From there, go for a beautiful walk to Hala Izerska and to Jakuszyce through the Jakuszycka clearing (in winter, ideal terrain for cross-country skiing). We also recommend a trip to Liberec through the Szklarska Pass and the Jizera Mountains. On the Czech side, you can organize a sentimental journey in the 19th century "Zębatka". The route of the historic railway is as beautiful as it is steep - it overcomes a height difference of 235 meters! This is possible thanks to the locomotive's toothed wheels, which go into the teeth of the track track. It's worth it!
In addition, in July, cyclists competing in the Road Classic set off on the Izera roads between Szklarska Poręba and Świeradów-Zdrój. We invite cyclists to take part in the race and we encourage everyone else to cheer!
Tourists abroad will be tempted by Dresden with its dazzling architecture, and Prague will surely invite them for a beer. For lovers of porcelain, only a stone's throw from Dresden and we are already in Meissen - the capital of porcelain - the museum impresses with its form and richness, and the shop encourages shopping. In the vicinity, we highly recommend the Saxony-Switzerland National Park with its postcard rock formations.
What’s there for children?
Antoniów is a village, so there are no attractions in the village itself. But there is a forest with all its benefits. Bike paths start behind the gate of the house, so it's worth taking bikes for the whole family with you.
In summer and during the holidays, a lot is happening (for example, workshops in the wigwam village or ceramics are organized in the area) - it is worth following the events in the Jizera Mountains and in our vicinity on a regular basis. For demanding guests, in Szklarska Poręba and Karpacz, 20 km away, you will find rope parks, ski lifts and thermal baths.
At home, we also have a lot of board games, DVD movies, cards and a ping-pong table, at which more than one match was played like the Olympic games!
