When looking for a home in the mountains, I took into account many aspects of my life that I could incorporate in an extraordinary place. We were looking for what is most important to us: peace, quiet, fresh air, direct access to hiking and biking trails. We have created an enclave in the Izera range village of Przecznica. Our guests travel back in time, with our reconstructed interiors, furniture and knick-knacks from the modernist and Art Deco period. We offer 6 rooms for 18 people.
Surrounding each other with art and pictures, we find ourselves in the gallery space, in a warm family home. The common parts include a fireplace room with a piano and a dining room. At home, apart from the smells coming from the kitchen, we create a homely atmosphere for all our guests. We loved this place unconditionally and completely. We hope that it will also happen to you. We invite you to Przecznica in the Izera Mountains, to a house full of poems, jazz and colours.
Our house has been a guesthouse since 1935 called Bergfrieden, which means "mountain peace". The peace has remained to this day and so has the atmosphere of this place. We have tried to recreate its original appearance.
All rooms can accommodate a maximum of 21 people, these are family rooms with two bedrooms, double and triple rooms.
We have 2 cots for children.
The common areas include a fully equipped kitchen - when one group rents the entire house, a fireplace room and dining room, a BBQ house in the garden with a fireplace, a summer kitchen, a place for a bonfire.
Possibility to use the sauna, please make an appointment in advance.
We also live in the house with our Labrador dog.

When renting the entire house with the kitchen, breakfast is not included in the price.

For groups
Our cuisine has been appreciated by our guests for many years. Occasionally, we smoke our own cold meats and trouts upon request (please inform us 5 days before the group's arrival). We support the Slow Food movement because we try to eat the healthiest foods ourselves.
During the holidays, we keep traditions and it's really festive here, we have dishes on the table according to the recipes of our grandmothers and mothers.
If you want to spend time actively, take comfortable shoes and a bike, because hiking and biking trails are waiting for you. From our house you can go up to Świeradów, to Rozdroże Izerskie, to the Stanisław Mine, and closer to Jelena Skały it is 3 km one way - it is a beautiful viewpoint. If you are interested in geotourism, the Geopark trail begins in Krobica, which is the trail of former mining tunnels, which is 6 km long.
Cyclists can try their hand at Singletrack cycling routes, so far the only ones in Poland.
Only 20 km from us, you can take a bath in the lake and go kayaking, for example. These are just some of the activities that await you, not counting all the castles and other monuments.
What’s there for children?
Children will not be bored for sure. We have a sandpit, a swing, a slide and a whole hectare of running and playing area in our garden. The asphalt ends near our house and above us there are fields, meadows and forests. Access road to two houses which means there is no car traffic and you can safely move around. In the house there is an old wardrobe that hides the secrets of forgotten games, such as games, blocks, puzzles, board games. In summer, we organize field games with the search for hidden treasures. There is also Konik Polski in Przecznica and there are horse rides in the field also for bigger children. It is impossible to be bored, you can also get your leg wet in the stream. In the evenings, a children's cinema on the big screen.
