In Świnoujście, on the banks of the Świna River, you will find the Land of 44 Islands. The back delta of the Świna River is unique in Europe and was created by the seawater flowing into the Szczecin Lagoon. It is sweet, salty, windy, sunny, wet, humid, endangered species of birds have their oasis here, and water sports enthusiasts come here as soon as the air temperature exceeds 10 degrees plus.
Welcome to the Baltic Yacht House, a house that will delight sailors (you can moor right under the house), kayakers, anglers, sunbathing enthusiasts, ornithologists, fans of fresh fish from the boat and those who like nature rather than kitsch. You will find us on an island, one of 44 floating in the area, between the Szczecin Lagoon and the Baltic Sea, right on the banks of the Gęsia River (a branch of the Old Świna). On the right you can admire Koprzykowskie Łęgi island, a wide riverbed of the Świna, floodplains and further the Kasiborska Kępa island, on the left the Wydrza Kępa island, Koński Smug and Lake Wicko Wielkie. It is not far from here to the Baltic Sea, the Wolin National Park and the Szczecin Lagoon. Here you are served by an unbeatable view, a private jetty, a house with panoramic windows, exclusive kayaks, jumping into the water, green grass, a terrace and a piece of garden. The waterways will take you to our pier, even from Berlin or any marina in the Baltic Sea.
From the pier, you can observe the largest habitat of White-tailed Eagles in Europe. During your morning coffee, time stands still, and mists drift over the surrounding wetlands. You can't see anything like it. And a good thing too.
In a minimalist home that doesn't want to compete with its surroundings. It stands on the very bank of the Gęsia River (a branch of the Stara Świna River) with a truly exotic view. On the right you can admire the island of Koprzykowskie Łęgi, the wide riverbed of the Świna, backwaters, and then the island of Kasiborska Kępa, on the left the islands of Wydrza Kępa, Koński Smug and the Wicko Wielkie lake. It is not far from here to the Baltic Sea, to the Wolin National Park and the Szczecin Lagoon. Wherever you look, there are natural wonders.
The Baltic Yacht House (the house is not equipped with a yacht) is our dream come true of a house with a private jetty, for water sports fans like us. It stands on a beautiful plot of approx. 1000 m2 between the Baltic beaches and the Szczecin Lagoon. We know that you will be great here, because we tested the house on ourselves. You can use the green plot, the pier and the shoreline exclusively. This combination of a summer residence and relaxation by the water has always been our dream. Here you can relax to the fullest, and while sitting on the pier, you can admire the passing fishing boats, yachts and catamarans.
Our guests will be pampered by the main bedroom with a double bed (160x200), and on it a high-quality pocket mattress, which will provide you with well-deserved relaxation after days full of impressions. On the mezzanine, another royal bed with a 180x200 pocket mattress is waiting for you. When you come to us with a 6-person team, we will prepare another sleep on a comfortable fold-out sofa in the living room. Each of our guests can snuggle into fresh linen, and we will also take care of the towels.
There is a living room with TV connected to a functional kitchen, bathroom with shower and this terrace overlooking the Land of the 44 Islands. Bring binoculars, fishing rods, bathing suits, and sunscreen. We have kayaks for you on site so that you can explore the area by water.
We love Polish hospitality, fresh and healthy food. This is what we lack in our Spanish home. Świnoujście is the perfect place to experience local delicacies, fresh fish straight from the Świna pool and the Baltic Sea. You will get them directly from fishermen in Karsibórz, who have always had the best choice. We leave at your disposal a kitchenette equipped with everything you need. There is a dishwasher, hob, dishes, pots, cutlery, toaster, kettle and a dreamlike view. In addition, we offer a coffee machine with a good portion of ground coffee to make mornings at the Baltic Yacht House even more enjoyable.
If you are visited by a lazy person, go canoeing or bike to Rybaczówka in Karsibórz and enjoy carefully prepared dishes in this beautiful marina overlooking the water. Here, perch in cream is worth the sin, dumplings stuffed with wild boar, fish soup, ribs, delicious cod and flounder, and real home-made fish fingers for children.
You can also eat in many places in Międzyzdroje or Świnoujście, where you will find various cuisines. In Międzyzdroje, we especially recommend Smażalnia Ryb Strzecha and Arts Kitchen, both with a sea view. In Świnoujście you will eat the best dumplings in the Kurna Chata restaurant, perfect fish in the First Restaurant and have a good coffee with a panoramic view in the Sky Cafe located on the 13th floor of the Radisson Blu hotel.
We recommend a daily dose of relaxation combined with active leisure. At your free and exclusive disposal, there is a large plot of 1,000 m2, where you can play scolding or play a match of any team game you imagine.
You must drink your morning coffee on the pier with a view of the clouds reflecting off the water surface and local fishermen returning from the morning fishing. The coastline with a romantic pier is undoubtedly a bonus for lovers. Listen to the Klangor cranes and watch for otters raging in the water. In the evening, something crickets, something chirps, something kumka. We have exceptional concerts here.
The Świna Delta is a center of relaxation and social life. The evenings begin and end on a covered veranda right on the shore. For lunch, it is worth going on a trip with our kayaks (free of charge), e.g. to the Rybaczówka harbor in Karsibórz. You can eat the fish prepared in this restaurant every day. It does not get boring.
You cannot miss the unique Krasiborska Kępa social reserve. It is a dream-like place where birds and their unusual breeding grounds are protected. It is situated on 180 ha of wet meadows and reeds, and in several places there are also small floodplains, drying up only in prolonged heat. This bird oasis is home to aquatic warbler, white-tailed eagle, red kite, marsh harrier, corncrake, ruff, which are extremely rare species counted among those ending up in the world. You can get here by the ferry "KARSIBÓR" or by car. To get to the Bird Reserve, after entering the island, follow the main road all the time until you reach a large roadside cross and turn left next to it.
Explore the area on the bikes available on site (for an additional fee) or on a car tour. Many attractions await you: kilometer-long sandy Baltic beaches, Wolin National Park with a bison farm, the underground city of Wolin, a new promenade in Świnoujście, the Viking Museum in Wolin, Amber Baltic Golf Club in Międzyzdroje and many others.
When the weather plays tricks, you can bathe in the sea during the rain and check for mushrooms in the surrounding forests. We also recommend relaxation in the Aquapark Baltic Molo Park in Świnoujście.
