In the city, it's never quiet, even when no one is talking. Even on a night full of stars, it's hard to see them, and the 21st century floods us with information like a tsunami. Catch a lifeboat and go offline. No contact with the world. Zwardoń, a small village in the undulating Beskid Żywiecki, comes to the rescue. Here you will find a pre-war wooden house on a mountain slope, whose standard and therapeutic properties exceed all the hotels in the world.
Pool on the terrace, 5 cosy bedrooms, fireplace, local wine and bathtub in the bathing lounge. Picturesque hiking trails, Slovakian fried syru, a ski slope and peace of mind are on the horizon. All day long you can parade in sweatpants, sit on the terrace with the mountains to the horizon, light a fire in the cellar and enjoy blueberries with sugar. In Chata Jankowa, a pre-war wooden log house that we gave a second chance. The previous owner wanted to get rid of it - we took care of it. Restored and renovated with care and attention to detail, while ensuring full comfort for the residents. A spacious kitchen with a large table connected to a living room with a fireplace ensures that everyone can enjoy themselves - everyone is together. A room in the basement with a solid sound system and plenty of free space allows for dance challenges. For the less mobile - a large banquet table with benches.
The Cottage has five bedrooms for 12 people:
- on the ground floor, one with a double bed with a fireplace,
- on the first floor, two double bedrooms (beds can be double or single) and two triple bedrooms (double or single beds).
On the ground floor, there is one bathroom with a spacious bathtub, and on the first floor, one bathroom with a slightly smaller bathtub. And we cannot forget about the so-called "base" - this is the space above the entrance - a kind of tent most beloved by our youngest guests - three children can easily fit there.
Silence, beautiful views, an area of over 1000m2 - all this has a positive effect on days free from commotion. On the additional terrace you will find an outdoor pool and a terrace for sunbathing, chilling and enjoying the silence.
Bring your pets - they will be happy here.
Such a good thing that you eat whatever you want. Here, good-quality food is at your fingertips, so you can go crazy culinary in every direction. Meat, veg and vegetable, and even weed. There is a fully equipped kitchen at your disposal (including a coffee machine, microwave oven, dishwasher, various pots, beautiful tableware and tasteful cutlery). Amateurs of home cooking will have a chance to show off and the nettles or sorrel growing in the nearby fields will tempt you to prepare soups from them. Blueberries, blackberries, mushrooms - sometimes they come right to your door in liter jars. Our homemade preserves are available in the cottage.
On request, we can provide you with home-made products from friendly hosts: eggs, cottage cheese, butter, rennet cheese, cold meats, milk as well as our products: bread, soups, cakes. Let me know in advance, and on your arrival we will fill the fridge with these delicacies. Availability depends on the date of stay - agreed individually.
In the vicinity, you can find the atmospheric inn "Swojskie Klimaty" with delicious home-made food - 15 minutes walk from the cottage. At Ms. Monika, the owners of the inn, you can also order delicious meat, barbecue items and other good-quality products.
The names of the alleys running in front of the Chata through the scenic regions reflect what one feels during walks - Avenue of Sighs, Avenue of Lovers. These trails are well marked. We also recommend the route to Duży Rachowiec - about 1 hour from the cottage. There is an observation tower there - an excellent view of the valley and the neighboring peaks and with good visibility of the Tatra Mountains. If the excess of attractions overwhelms you and you do not want to move, no problem. The swimming pool at the cottage with a terrace - on hot days, it is perfect. A room in the basement with a fireplace and a sound system - the feast was definitely successful. In winter, the Zwardoń SKI ski slope with a length of 960 m with a chair lift is nearby, always well prepared and not crowded. You will be satisfied.
Go on a trip to the vicinity of Ostrava to the former Landek coal mine. 1.5 hours from our Chat Rooms. All day surrounded by greenery and Czech specialties. Beer with a lot of foam is also available.
Take advantage of the proximity to the borders and go on a culinary and sightseeing trip to our southern neighbors - Slovakia. Only 1 hour walk and what do we have? Pork knuckle on thick cabbage and, of course, with dumplings. There will also be syra fried with garlic sauce with a million delicious calories. There is no need to mention beer anymore. And the original Kofola and artisanal ice cream. In addition, views, flowering wild fruit trees, old ski lifts.

A trip for the guilty and innocent towards the Winery of Mr. Jacek Chrobak in Wiślica. In difficult, Polish climatic conditions, several grape varieties are cultivated there, from which Mr. Jacek produces miracles corked in bottles. Mr. Jacek offers you a tasting of his wines along with refreshments with local products.
How about massages delivered to your home, on the sunny terrace. Miłko Massage - the mobile masseur is not far from us and will gladly offer his hands that heal. On the spot, we will give you a bearing to him, because man knows how to relax your mind and body.
What’s there for children?
A 70 cm deep swimming pool for summer and a large green meadow - all within the sight of an adult. Winter - the Zwardoń SKI ski slope with a baby lift, ski school and individual skiing instructors nearby.
There are still about 100 reasons to come with kids to Beskid Żywiecki, and we are close to each of these reasons. A treasure hunt, the wind in your hair on the Tyrolka, views of the Tatra Mountains and Mala Fatra, the Festival of Gourmands, bonfires shooting at the sky and delicious pancakes in shelters - you can exchange for a long time. Go-karts, a water paradise in Glinka GeoPark, a mountain botanical garden called Forest Castle with bee observation and a visit to a heather sheep, collecting nettles for soup are at hand. All this will make the children fall asleep in the evening like angels, and from the morning the same energy and barefoot, running on the trampoline.
