From the outside, nothing indicates what is hidden inside. Just an ordinary family house located on a beautiful hill of the Świętokrzyskie hills. But do not let its innocent appearance deceive you. This house is like a matryoshka. Every corner, every nook and cranny may surprise you like Tutankhamun's tomb of archaeologists.

For a good day, I invite you to the "cellar". However, it is not a hiding place for jars and junk. It is a small travel museum with surprising exhibits, behind which stand even more interesting stories. This is probably why, in addition to shelves brimming with memories, I have placed here racks full of wine and a bar. The stories tell themselves, the time is spent talking late into the night, and the glasses are filled with new topics of conversation. When you've had enough of the old vagabond's stories, you can always jump into the jacuzzi, sauna or the tub of ice-cold water. Wandering around the house, you can find bearded catfish in a huge aquarium, my several thousand-year-old collections of pipes, paintings from the 17th and 18th centuries, books on various subjects. When the weather is good, the company moves to the terrace. We chat, eat cherries from the tree (when the host doesn't see us), lounge in the jacuzzi and relax. From here, we have a fabulous view of the 1.5-hectare garden, pond, forest, ducks, roe deer and elk, who are our frequent guests.

You have already got to know the quaint parts of the cottage, so it is time to move on to pragmatic matters. The rooms have shared bathrooms (one bathroom for two rooms), but this should not be a problem. We have more bathrooms in the house than rooms, and practically the whole house is at your disposal. Feel at ease here, like with a good friend, like a quiet haven after a long journey. I serve breakfast every day, lunches, dinners, or barbecues are up to you. I will be more than happy to cook you a hearty meal, preferably with venison, but vegetarians will also be satisfied.

Between trips, this is where my home is. I parade around in a long Arabian dress for "every day", looking after grapes, fishing in the pond and waiting for you with stories from the world. I invite you on a micro trip to my traveller's cottage.

In an unusual guesthouse, which is a quiet haven on your route. I invite you to my house. This is where I live, this is where I host you, I cook for you, we talk, and sometimes I step into the shade so that you can rest. There are 4 rooms upstairs at your disposal, so you can say that the intimate atmosphere is guaranteed. The rooms are not connected by walls, so the voices of other household members will not disturb you. You can live alone in the room, you can take the other half, you can take the whole family or a group of friends. The rooms are connected to the bathrooms. Two of them share a bathroom in the corridor, same as the other two. So four rooms - two bathrooms. However, there will be no queue for the shower, in fact, in the whole house we have more bathrooms than rooms. There is another communal bathroom on the ground floor, as well as in the "basement" next to the sauna. You can also take a bath in the jacuzzi.

The rooms are large, each approx. 35-40 m2. There are two, three and four people. Each one has a large double bed waiting for you. In the red room with a hanging egg-chair, apart from a large bed, there is a fold-out sofa for 2 people. In the white room there is one double bed, and in the other two rooms there is one double bed and one single bed.

There is also fresh linen and a set of towels, and after stormy discussions, we also put in TVs. But please, with such a view outside the window, the TV is lying fallow. In addition, at least a dozen books (you can suggest your favorite subject when booking).

On request, we can equip the room with an extra bed, kettle, extra blanket, Japanese sword and whatever your heart desires, completely free of charge. If you enjoy reading, please let us know about your literary preferences. After each visit, the rooms are thoroughly cleaned and disinfected with high-power UV-C lamps.

Make yourself comfortable not only in the rooms, practically the entire house and garden are at your disposal. Living room, large kitchen, terrace overlooking the 1.5 ha garden with a pond and ducks, home SPA with sauna, tub and jacuzzi. I have one room and a wardrobe.

When I invite you to the basement, it probably sounds a bit disturbing, but I can assure you that this is one of the nicer places in the Traveler's Cottage. Especially for those who like to talk about travels for a long time. Here we store over 200 bottles of wine, here we rest on sofas, here you will find a small museum of my travels with various exhibits that came from the ends of the globe.

I have a similar joke on cooking as on travel. It is from them that I bring new flavors, spices, ideas for combining unusual products into one whole. Most often, when the house is quiet, I hide in the kitchen and this is where you can find me. I focus on seasonality, local products and my own creativity. The eggs are from my neighbor, vegetables from the garden, and I pick mushrooms myself. We have our own preserves, and recently we have been smoking hams, tenderloins and other cold cuts. We can prepare something especially for you. Sometimes there will be homemade bread from the bread oven, other times there will be homemade beer or goat cheese. There are over 200 wines waiting in the cellar, waiting for tasting.

I serve breakfasts to your heart's content every day. Almost everything that appears on the table is our products. I will be happy to serve the other meals as well, but you have to be willing. Lunches, dinners, barbecues. Maybe venison steak in horseradish sauce? Boar roast maybe? The fish was just caught in the backyard grilled pond. Or not: potatoes with cracklings and sour milk. Every day something new and unique. Unique because usually these are culinary improvisations. PS. Free additions.

I specialize in venison, but the visiting vegetarians won't be disappointed. We also like to eat well ourselves.

There are two kitchens in the house, one is working for me, the other is elegant for you. The one available to guests is large and well-equipped. We have, among others induction wok, steam oven and grill plate. So, if you decide to prepare something yourself, your imagination will be the only limitation.

Here you come to rest after your journey, anchor, make a small pit stop, rest. You can be bored here, lie belly up, sleep until noon, listen to the silence. There is no such prohibition. However, how much you can moonshine in the room on the couch, when there is a pond in the garden where you can fish, or go through the gate and come back from the old forest with an armful of mushrooms.

There are cycling and hiking trails right next to the house. Take your bicycles and Nordic walking poles into the trunk. Bicycles can also be borrowed for free on site. There is a small airport of the local flying club nearby, where you can fly a glider or a motor-glider and see the Świętokrzyskie Mountains nomen omen from above. It is a great starting point for exploring everything that the Świętokrzyskie Mountains offer. If you don't have enough emotions, go to Kadzielnia. Recently, you can try a sky-high route there - zip lines, crossing the rope bridge, walking on viewing platforms, or climbing with self-protection. In winter it is known that snow sports. For skiing in Krajno, Kielce, Tumlin or Niestachów. Cross-country skiing to Bieliny. A town famous for growing strawberries, it turns into a cross-country skiing center in winter. Around the commune you can try as many as 23 km of paths running through the most beautiful corners of the Świętokrzyskie Mountains. You can also actively explore the area with quads and boogies along designated, legal routes. In winter, you can take a sleigh ride in the Świętokrzyski National Park in a horse-drawn sleigh. The animals are taken care of very well and have long rests, during which the participants of the sleigh ride can rest by the fire with mulled wine in hand.

If you want to exercise, there are dumbbells, punching bags, bars in the open air, etc. And after training, I invite you to the jacuzzi - at night, under the open sky. In winter, and maybe especially then, it is better to choose a hot tub on a small terrace, because the water is constantly heated. You can enjoy the beautiful view of the Świętokrzyskie Mountains range. Then relax in the sauna, jump to the tub with ice water for the brave and you can go down to the bar in the basement. I have a well-equipped winery there (maybe you can find wines from your own vineyard) and a museum full of travel souvenirs. Figurines made by natives, books, gifts from local people, souvenirs recalling the 160 countries visited. So there is something to talk about over a glass of wine. And who, if who, but I am not one of the reticent ones. I will help you decide on your next trip, I will tell you how to plan a trip to the end of the world, I will give you courage, and maybe I will advise you against a direction. One thing's for sure, one night may be too short for these talk.

We read crime novels in a swing-ball in the bedroom, romances on a swing by a pond, biographies on an armchair in a mini-museum, and horror movies on a bench in the forest, after dark. There is a problem with reading travel books. It is best to lock yourself in the bathroom or in a room under a duvet with a flashlight, because when I see that you are reading about a place (whether it be a hill in Kazakhstan or a village in Peru), I will be happy to tell you an anecdote from my trip to this place . The effect will be that we will end up sitting up to 3 am over the pictures talking about travels. Let it not be that I did not warn you.

I recommend wine, aromas and candles for the jacuzzi. I also provide towels and romantic music.

This house is full of surprises, nooks and crannies, stairs, items from the ends of the world. It's like an amusement park, only one for adults. They are the ones who will feel best here.
