At a glance
Outside the borders of Frombork, the famous Nicolaus Copernicus, right next to the Green Velo bike trail, where the asphalt road ends and where the fields and forests converge, in the small, romantic village, lies the Pogaduchy Cottage. People say that we serve the best breakfasts in northern Poland. We don’t deny it, we do everything to make it happen.
We invite good people who are looking for mornings with birds singing, rustling leaves, and the scents of flowering herbs, rapeseed, strawberries and forest birch. Those who want to hear the clucking of chickens and honking of geese, to gaze at the setting sun reflecting in the surface of a rural pond, and to observe the intricate work of bees.
And when you cool down, we offer an evening which smells of a bonfire, sausages on a stick, apples baked on fire, previously marinated in honey from a nearby apiary, and our favourite – potatoes baked in the heat of burning wood. These bonfires are a celebration of being together, it's a time for family, for friends, it's a time that’s full of crazy fun, loud laughter, long conversations by a burning fire, and just enjoying a chat!

Sometimes we are on-site, sometimes we're not
For many years I fulfilled myself as a chef and restaurateur. Quite recently I got to know and fell in love with the village, 2 km from my hometown of Frombork, the peace and quiet there. I wanted to share this. Hence the idea for Chata Pogaduchy. A place where we have time for family and friends, for long conversations and sleeping until noon, where the silence is only interrupted by the sound of birds flying by. A place where we can be ourselves, laugh loudly and dance until dawn.
