Chutor Dzikie Łąki - Jurta

Add the name of your place

Location Polska, Kaszuby, Tuchomie
We have a place for modern nomads here. Fugitives from concrete housing estates, weekend refugees from apartment buildings. An unusual tent for any, even the coldest season. We invite everyone who would like to gaze at the stars before going to bed, be awakened by birds in the morning, listen to the rain and crackling in the fireplace. It is not distant Ułanbator, but Masłowice Tuchomskie, not any Mongolian steppes, but our homely Kashubia: lakes, meadows, fields and forests. Here we remember that we are part of nature and we live in such a way that in the future our children's children can also enjoy the closeness of nature. In traditional Mongolian yurts, little has changed since the time of Genghis Khan. A yurt is almost always 35 square meters. Ours has that too. On the sidelines of a small village, we built the first modern yurt in Pomerania. We have equipped it with everything a modern wanderer may need and arranged it so that you can experience sleeping in a tent without sacrificing the amenities of civilization. Here, the rays of the sun shine through the skylight and indicate the time, and the patio doors open to the south. However, do not expect even, trimmed lawns and a row of trimmed thuja. These are Wild Meadows, full of wild flowers and insects in the summer. Except that nettles and thistles also bloom here and there, and insects are not only butterflies. We are waiting for guests who will like our horses, rural surroundings and local products. For those who want to experience life outside the city and are looking for authenticity. We will do our best to make you feel good here. See you soon.

Maria i Krystian
We met thanks to horses and dreams. We believe that we only really do well what we do with love. Such work serves those who do it, and it also serves other people and the world. We want to combine work with everyday life. That is why we put a lot of effort and heart, slowly shaping our place on Earth so that people and animals can safely and happily stay in it, enjoying its natural charm. Horses influence the nature of this place. They have a lot of freedom here, freedom, which is what they need and what we also value. Chutor Dzikie Łąki is a family farm where we live with our children and pets. We do not want to destroy what / what we live in, we want to cooperate with it and care for the common good. We are inspired by traditional, old ways of doing various things, e.g. construction, but we also use modern ideas, especially if they lead to ecology. We want our little land to be a source of inspiration for others as well. Anyone who likes to be close to nature can find themselves here. Leisure, full of play or activity, learning new things, outdoor activities? A respite, relaxation or fun with family and friends? We have space for that.

According to tradition, our yurt is 35 square meters. Inside is: - bathroom with shower - kitchenette with equipment (we do not offer permanent board). - two single beds (which can be joined together) positioned so that you can look through the window or at the fire in the fireplace, - a wooden ladder leads to the mezzanine, on which there are three more mattresses (including two that can be joined), - table and chairs, hangers, wardrobe - mini-library, games, radio - climatic "goat" type wood stove (for the safety of children there is a fence that can also be removed) In front of the yurt there is a terrace, table, hammocks, a small portable grill and plenty of space. We have also set up a hot tub for you, which you can use at will, and you do not need to heat the water every time - it is constantly warm. The area around the yurt, fenced with a wooden fence, is at the exclusive disposal of guests. It has two gates - one from the "wild park" side with a swing, table, zip-line and play areas, and the other from the pond. There is a pier by the pond, a place for a fire, and around the meadows where our horses live. A traditional yurt has one common space. We have designed the interior according to our own idea - so as to ensure your comfort. It is warm here all year round. The yurt has a warming layer made of felt and is covered not with ordinary fabric, but with sailcloth. The source of heating is a stove-stove - in cooler and quite cold weather, it provides heat and climate (you have to take care of the warm atmosphere yourself and add it to the stove, but we help you light it if necessary).

What will I eat?

Go to photo editor Photo edit

We do not run a kitchen for guests, we do not prepare meals, but we can give you some local delicacies. A bit of what our permaculture garden will give us, but most of all we know from which hosts we can buy goat cottage cheese, tinctures, honey from flowers from our area, real butter and cream, milk straight from the cow, organic fruit / vegetables, green legged hen eggs ... We will gladly bring you, just remember that many of these products are seasonal. Better let me know in advance to get hold of these miracles.

In addition, the yurt has everything you need to cook, fry, bake, or - by indulging in a well-deserved holiday laziness - just heat up something delicious (in Bytów at Szulty you will get a home-made delicatessen). The nearest shops are in Tuchom. And if you want to take a break from "garów", you will find restaurants nearby (5 minutes by car, in Tuchom). There is also an option to pre-order catering at the International Meeting Center in Tuchom, also vegetarian dishes. However, in Bytów, we recommend the restaurant Jaś Kowalski.

The whole of Kashubia, especially the Bytowskie Lake District and the vicinity of the Miasteckie Lakes Trail, is a paradise for: - cyclists, - mushroom pickers, - those who like to discover the charm of less traveled roads and paths, - horse lovers, - willing to take short and longer trips to the seaside, - enthusiasts of diving in ultra-clean lobelia lakes. The tourist application created by the commune of Tuchomiu makes it easier to navigate around the area - we recommend (http://turystyka.tuchomie.com.pl/aplikacje). Various local events also take place during the season. If you like sightseeing, you should also see Bytów and its monuments, especially the Gothic castle. For bad weather - a very nice swimming pool in Bytów. On site we have rural atmosphere, ubiquitous cats and friendly horses for guests. Basically, it's all about them. Drop by: - individual classes with our horses, in accordance with the principles of natural riding, - trips, walks with horses around the area for people who do not ride (you can lead a horse or ride - then the instructor leads the horse), - getting to know horses, learning to care for a horse (child up to 6 years old with a guardian), - group workshops - hippotherapy (by appointment), - self-awareness exercises, self-development activities: valuable time spent observing the herd and yourself (experiencing your own body, emotions, being here and now, working on non-verbal communication). For owners of four hooves - you can come on vacation with your own horse. Also with care (pastures, free-range farming) and training with natural methods. For those who want a souvenir from their stay, we suggest a photo session with our horses (or without;)

What’s there for children?

Go to photo editor Photo edit

Children are very welcome guests. They will find plenty of space to go crazy in the grass, mud or among trees. They can jump on a trampoline, go zip-line, swing on swings, swing on hammocks, run with cats, wander in the wild corners of Chutor or play with our children :) We want to show them a good life and good thinking about nature, animals and what is closest to us. We can teach them to light a fire, shoot a bow and stand on a horse. For them, being in a yurt is an adventure that they will remember. It is important to us. We are also happy to show you our favorite lakes or arrange a joint trip. For toddlers in the bathroom, we have a stand (a step), a toilet seat, and on request we provide a tiny bathtub and a high chair for feeding. We also rent a travel cot with bedding (PLN 50)

Takiego wyjazdu potrzebowaliśmy. Cisza, spokój (poza odgłosami natury oczywiście), w pięknym otoczeniu. Jurta urządzona wygodnie i estetycznie. Wokół masa zielonej przestrzeni. Objedliśmy się wiejskich jajek i serów. Zaliczyliśmy wizytę na lokalnym ryneczku (chleb na zakwasie - mistrzostwo świata!). Właściciele to niezwykle mili i ciepli ludzie, którzy dbają o komfort przyjeżdżających.

No i konie... Konie podbiły nasze serca. Wspaniale jest przebywać z nimi sposób naturalny.
