We have a place for modern nomads here. Fugitives from concrete housing estates, weekend refugees from apartment buildings. An unusual tent for any time of the year, even the coldest season. We invite everyone who would like to gaze at the stars before going to bed, be awakened by birds in the morning, listen to the rain and wood crackling in the fireplace. It is not distant Ułanbator, but Masłowice Tuchomskie, not any Mongolian steppes, but our homely Kashubia: lakes, meadows, fields and forests. Here we remember that we are part of nature and we live in such a way that in the future our children's children can also enjoy the closeness of nature.
In traditional Mongolian yurts, little has changed since the time of Genghis Khan. A yurt is almost always 35 square metres. Ours has that too. On the sidelines of a small village, we built the first modern yurt in Pomerania. We have equipped it with everything a modern wanderer may need and arranged it so that you can experience sleeping in a tent without sacrificing the amenities of civilization. Here the sun's rays shine through the skylight and indicate the time, and the patio doors open to the south. However, do not expect even, trimmed lawns and a row of trimmed thuja. These are Wild Meadows, full of wildflowers and insects in the summer. Except that nettles and thistles also bloom here and there, and there are other insects too besides butterflies. We are waiting for guests who will like our horses, rural surroundings and local products. For those who want to experience life outside the city and are looking for authenticity. We will do our best to make you feel good here. See you soon.
Our yurt, in keeping with tradition, is 35 square meters. Inside there is:
- bathroom with shower
- kitchenette with equipment (we do not offer permanent catering).
- two single beds (with the possibility of combining into one) arranged so that you can look out the window or at the fire burning in the fireplace,
- a wooden ladder leads to the mezzanine, on which there are three more mattresses (two of which can be combined),
- table and chairs, hangers, wardrobe
- mini-library, games, - atmospheric "goat" wood stove (for the safety of children there is a fence, which can also be removed)
In front of the yurt there is a terrace, table, hammocks, a small portable grill and a lot of space. We have also placed a tub here for you, which you can use at will, and you do not have to heat the water every time - it is constantly warm. The area around the yurt, fenced with a wooden fence, is at the exclusive disposal of the guests. It has two gates - one from the "wild park" side with a swing, table, zip-line and play areas, and the other on the pond side. There is a jetty by the pond, a place for a bonfire, and meadows around where our horses live.
A traditional yurt has one common space. We designed the interior according to our own idea - to ensure your comfort. It is warm here all year round. The yurt has a warming layer made of felt and is not covered with ordinary fabric, but with sailcloth. The source of heating is a stove - in colder and quite cold weather it provides heat and climate (you have to take care of the warm atmosphere yourself and stoke the stove, but if necessary we help to light it).
On site, we have rural atmosphere for guests (who are willing to help with farm work), ubiquitous cats and friendly horses. Basically everything revolves around them. Drop by:
- individual classes with our horses, in accordance with the principles of natural horsemanship,
- trips, walks with horses around the area for non-riders (you can lead a horse or ride - then the instructor leads the horse),
- getting acquainted with horses, learning how to care for a horse (children up to 6 years old with a guardian),
- group workshops
- carriage rides or sleigh rides
- hippotherapy (by appointment),
- self-awareness exercises, development activities: valuable time spent on observing the herd and yourself (experiencing your own body, emotions, being here and now, working on non-verbal communication).
And the whole of Kashubia, especially the Bytowskie Lake District and the vicinity of the Miasteckie Lakes Route, is a paradise for:
- cyclists,
- mushroom pickers,
- those who like to discover the charm of less frequented roads and paths,
- horse lovers,
- willing to take short and longer trips to the seaside,
- diving enthusiasts in ultra-clean lobelia lakes.
If you like sightseeing, it is worth seeing Bytów and its monuments, especially the Gothic castle.
For bad weather - a very nice swimming pool in Bytów.
Our commune also has its own tourist application (http://turystyka.tuchomie.com.pl/aplikacje), where you will find local curiosities and tourist trails, as well as information about events.
The wider area will help you discover the application "From the Baltic Sea to Kaszuby".
For owners of four hooves - you can come on holiday with your own horse.
Also with care (pastures, free range) and training with natural methods.
And for those who want to have a souvenir from their stay, we offer a photo session with our horses (or without;)
What’s there for children?
In Chutor, even the price list likes families and is very friendly and lowers. :) Children are very welcome guests here. They will find plenty of space to have fun in the grass, mud or among the trees. They can jump on the trampoline, go down the zip-line, swing on the swings, swing in the hammocks, run with the cats, rummage in the wild corners of Chutor or play with our children :)
We want to show them a good life and good thinking about nature, animals and what is closest to us. We can teach them how to light a fire, shoot a bow and stand on a horse. Staying in a yurt is an adventure for them that they will remember. This is important to us.
We will also be happy to show you our favorite lakes or arrange a joint trip around the area.
For toddlers, we have a stand (step) in the bathroom, a toilet seat, and on request we provide a small bathtub and a high chair for feeding. We also rent a travel cot with bedding (PLN 100)
What’s there for employees?
We don't have a separate, closed work space, but if you need internet access and a nice place to sit, then we invite you to workation.
We will try to meet your needs - we can provide an armchair, an additional table, a garden extension cord, you can also use the printer at our house free of charge.
