In Stare Czaple, on an endless meadow, stands Czaplowisko. Two houses in the middle of the Kashubian Landscape Park tempt with a bit of Scandinavian climate and a hot water tub with a view of the night sky. Kashubian 'all-inclusive' is as follows: first a cauldron stew, then a walk to the other side of the lake, then a relaxation session in the sauna. You can eat on a deckchair, make a secret fort in the mezzanine, take an open-air shower, read poems by the fireplace and look for deer in the morning. In the evening, the cuckoo and the woodpecker say goodbye to the "tired" sun, and the day goes out in a grey fog. We invite you to a place that has everything that townspeople dream about, yearning for peace, greenery, space and crispy Kashubian bread full of flavour and gluten. We are in no hurry, we are here and patiently waiting for your visit.

Here Slowhop will describe your place

Paulina
Hey! I'm Paulina, but everyone calls me Ruda. I left the corporation and created a small paradise for you in Kashubia. Czaplowisko, two houses designed according to my ideas, finished with passion and heart, was built on an endless Kashubian glade. Smelling new, surprising with comfort and good taste and ensuring blissful relaxation. In the sauna, tub or by the fireplace - as you like. Come on in, it's always a good time to unwind.

In modern, and at the same time natural, wooden houses finished to a tip top. The “grey heron” and “white heron” houses can accommodate 6 - 8 people in three bedrooms. Each of them has a double bed. Two bedrooms on the open floor, one on the ground floor with a private toilet. You can get to the mezzanine with two mattresses via a ladder. It's a nice treat for kids, it can be a playroom, a secret base or an extra place to sleep. The bathroom is located on the ground floor and is spacious with a shower, toilet, sink and bidet. The window offers an unexpectedly beautiful view of the Kamionka lake. The bright and sunny common space is located downstairs. It is a real relaxation zone with a lounge, where during long autumn evenings you can warm up by the fireplace with a mug of mulled wine or local beer, play a round of board games and tell stories of various content. The kitchenette is fully equipped. Large windows lead to the terrace, and a table with chairs invites you to eat together. Under the stairs there is a space for bookworms with a comfortable armchair and books at arm's length. There is also an endless area around the house at your disposal. During the day you can lie on the terrace without remorse, and in the evening take a hot bath in a wood-fired tub while admiring the starry sky. Another rarity is the outdoor sauna barrel consisting of a sauna with a wood-burning stove and a vestibule where you can undress or relax right after the session. The sauna barrel opens onto a fenced wooden terrace, where you can cool off in the shower and rest on comfortable loungers. We finished construction in the spring of 2018, so everything still smells new and is made to shine. Look for the herons that hide in different corners of the houses. We find them in various places and take them in, I think we are just drawn to each other. It's destiny. In the houses you will also find a baby chair. We invite you with your pets, they have a huge space here to romp and gallop.

Our houses are exclusive, which means that we do not serve meals, but we provide all the kitchen luxuries. There is a dishwasher, fridge, toaster, induction hob, only an oven. There is a large grill and a place for a bonfire, so potatoes from the fire, sausages and baked bananas with chocolate will be on the table. Upon arrival, check the contents of the haversack, you will find there brilliant Kashubian bread, which we offer to each guest. The surroundings are enchanting, and just the thought is drooling. Local restaurants are a treasure, we especially recommend: - Kitchen in Smętowo Chmieleński with wonderful bread, own meat and fish products as well as delicious and filling dishes. - Modra Sobótka in Ręboszewo, its menu includes, among others wild boar cutlets, deer roulades, roasted goose, roasted duck, venison stew, delicious Kashubian fish soup, fresh fish, goose pate for an appetizer, fried red pine mushrooms and other regional specialties. Their dumplings with goose and prunes in chanterelle sauce are an undisputed hit. - The inn at Philipp's in Brodnica Górna serves delicacies of Old Polish and Kashubian cuisine. The cutlet does not fit on a plate, and zander lick your fingers. All restaurants are within 10 minutes by car, and a bit longer by bike from Czaplowisko.

This is a place to relax and reset your busy thoughts. There are many ways to relax physically and mentally. On prescription, we list walks among meadows, bicycle trips on forest paths, belly-up swimming in the lake and doing nothing. During the day you can lie on the terrace, and in the evening you can take a hot bath in a wood-fired tub, admiring the starry sky that shows the Milky Way in all its glory - just steal a little and add to your morning coffee. We know how hard it is to disconnect from everyday life during a short vacation, we also know that rest is a state of mind. That is why there are several places in Czaplowisko where you can immediately forget about your busy city life and recharge your batteries for the next weeks. The temperature will be increased by an external sauna barrel, consisting of a sauna, with a wood-fired stove and a vestibule where you can undress or rest right after the relaxation session. From the sauna barrel you will go out to a fenced wooden terrace where you can cool off in the shower and rest on comfortable sun loungers. For bookworms, there will always be some literature in our reading corner. Under the stairs you can feel like the most famous wizard in the world, except that Czaplowisko is a million times cozier. A large comfortable armchair with a footrest and immersive reading material are right under your nose. Paradise! In addition, we can boast a pretty good collection of board games. Taboo is our number one. Spring, summer and autumn evenings are incomplete without a timeless barbecue. In our endless garden - clearing you have plenty of space for feasting, dancing, singing and joyful chats. The closest neighborhood is worth exploring. Here are some places worth visiting, whether by bike, on foot or by car: - Wieżyca - the highest hill of the moraine Szymbarskie Hills is less than 20 minutes away. We recommend climbing the lookout tower and looking where the eyes cannot see. - The crystal clear Kamionka lake is only 400 meters away from us. In the vicinity, you can also discover Bukrzyno Małe, Bukrzyno Duże, Buk, Sołeckie and the long, like anaconda, Raduńskie Długie lake. - The castle in Łapalice, a crazy idea of an incorrect dreamer, is located 18 km from Czaplowisko. - Near the village of Węsiory you will find one of the most mysterious places in Poland. I am talking about the mysterious stone circles there. Researchers are convinced that they were built by the Goths, but not all agree with this thesis - some people believe that they were built much earlier. - It is also worth visiting Uniradza. There are at least 2,763 burial mounds in the burial mound in this village. People were buried here for over 2,000 years. - A ride through the Kashubian Gate will provide amazing views. It is a narrow isthmus between the lakes Raduńskie Dolny and Raduńskie Górne lying at the end of a forest ravine leading from Kartuzy.

What’s there for children?

The kids have a base on the mezzanine, and outside there is a meadow and a field for total madness and carefree fun. In summer, the tub is splashed all day long, and the parents annex in the evening. They spend time with their families, play board games and listen to bedtime stories. They organize trips to the lake with a backpack full of sandwiches and do not want to come back for lunch so as not to waste time. They spread a blanket on the grass and organize sumptuous picnics, watch storks, deer in the morning and listen to evening concerts performed by crickets. They build castles in a sandbox. This is a real country holiday. The happiest and so genuine.

Z utęsknieniem i łzami w oczach wypatrywaliśmy poranka… zdążyliśmy porozmawiać też z sąsiadami, którzy zgodnie stwierdzili, że w Starych Czaplach PRĄDU NIE MA REGULARNIE - dlatego mieszkańcy posiadają kupione agregaty prądotwórcze!
