Near the Tatar Route, in the colony, some 4 kilometres from the town of Krynki, there is a wooden settlement full of authentic old buildings from the 1930s. We are only 4 kilometres away from the Tatar village of Kruszyniany, famous for its historic mosque and Muslim minaret. They call this place the Little Bieszczady Mountains because this is what the picturesque, hilly area on the edge of the Knyszyn Forest looks like. This is even confirmed by the architecture of the surrounding farms, the buildings of which are made of wooden logs. Tourists rarely visit this picturesque corner. As a result, the rural landscape remained intact without the touch of civilization - just like years ago. You want to do nothing but lie in the grass and enjoy nature watching the falcons and eagles circling in the sky.
We have reason to believe that the area may be one of those places in the world where holidays last all year round. This is because the influences of four cultures are mixed here: Orthodox, Catholic, Jewish and Muslim.
We have 2 separate houses at our disposal. Each of them is rented "exclusively", like a holiday home.
What can you expect? The Łapicze Valley is a 4-hectare area in a large clearing, with several authentic wooden log buildings, located far from the asphalt road, among fields and forests. It is a real wilderness where nature breaks into the house, and falcons and eagles circulate in the sky. For townspeople who are used to the hustle and bustle of big cities, nature, peace and silence are something surprising here, and the smell and space will be overwhelming.
Our houses are located right here, in a quiet green valley, fragrant with grain and herbs, surrounded by young coniferous forests, in a truly open-air scenery. We have space for 11 people in 2 separate houses.
The area has been specially prepared for walking barefoot on the grass and the vast area around the house is perfect for putting up tents and mounting hammocks.
100-year-old "Stara Plebania"
a large wooden house, carefully restored and stylishly equipped, offers 3 bedrooms and a living room, a spacious kitchen, an internal bathroom with a shower and a bathroom on the veranda with a bathtub and a "view" of the forest. Front entrance "through the porch.
"Świeronek"
is a charming wooden 2-room house (old granary) for 2 people. Built traditionally on stones, it is located in the forest (on the property) and offers a bedroom with a double bed, a kitchenette and a small bathroom with a shower.
The houses are equipped with refrigerators, TV, electric kettle and a set of dishes. Bed linen and towels are provided.
The water comes from its own intake in the forest. There is a lot of space around the houses for recreation, organization of workshops, a campsite or a bonfire.
Each house has an electric or gas cooker and a set of dishes. You can practice your culinary skills here and dry mushrooms, of which there are many here. The water comes from its own source. The "KRYNKA" spring water is available from an artesian well (the so-called crooked pipe) in Krynki.
Traditional Podlasie dishes are offered by a restaurant in the historic town of Krynki, 3 km away, while 4 km in the opposite direction, in the Tatar village of Kruszyniany, you can taste the delicacies of Tatar cuisine... and visit a historic mosque at the same time.
Complete freedom!
In addition, silence and a wonderful, undisturbed landscape of "small Bieszczady". The smell of herbs and hay, the voices of nature, and a clear area for running barefoot on dew or just staring at the sky. There are also sun loungers and hammocks.
Empty, exotic areas, devoid of asphalt roads, encourage hiking or cycling trips in the Knyszyn Forest, along the Tatars' trails or as far as Wierszalin - a mysterious place in the middle of the forest, rich in berries and mushrooms.
At a distance of 1600 meters, on the Nietupa River, there is a swimming pool and a fishery, and a little further, in the depths of the forest, you will find a vast bathing lagoon. Additional "on request" activities are volleyball and canoeing on Nietupa.
And in the evenings, conversations by the fire and observation of the constellations in the sky.
... or rent the entire Łapicze Valley and organize your own group activities, workshops, etc.
