We didn't think being at the end of the world could be so pleasant. Usually, it is associated with the apocalypse, a place where crows caw, and, according to flat-earthers, a fall from the edge into the abyss. After passing the crossed-out "Świat" sign, however, nothing ends. A wonderful adventure begins, starting with wandering around the unevenness of the Kłodzko Valley, observing wild hares and tiny bunnies, slightly larger goats and stars, which are here at your fingertips.

There is a winding, picturesque road you need to follow. Dom na Końcu Świata (House at the End of the World) is adjacent to meadows to the horizon, gentle slopes of the Bystrzyckie Mountains, dense forests full of spruce and beech trees; fewer and fewer houses and traces of civilization, and finally you will see the sign: "Zone free from hatred and intolerance". The hosts of the wooden have excluded television, anger and intolerance towards other people from their lives. Here, at a common table, people talk about life and its complexities, about the secrets hidden in Kłodzko's history and nature, and about saving hares from the oppression of civilization. You eat umami-flavoured black garlic and homemade preserves, wash it down with beer brewed at the End of the World. The rest of the dishes on the menu are the secret of the chef - Lidka.

From early morning to late evening, countless species of birds sing around the house. In the autumn, you hear the silence of the deer in the rut, and winter has the sound of creaking snow. The sounds of this wonderful choir have magical relaxing power. Roe deer and deer often peek into the windows, and the liberated hares jump joyfully on the meadows.

Come for the workshops or peaceful rest. We'll take care of everything else.

In Paszków, a few kilometers from Polanica-Zdrój, where it's hard to find a shop, but you can always count on heavenly silence. All around are forests, meadows, hare tracks on the path and goat calls. Only a few houses, several dozen inhabitants.

The wooden house is a piece of history, he began his first life in Podkarpacie in 1927. After moving to Paszków in 2009, he started a new life. The interior is filled with a warm, homely atmosphere, jazz, the smell of the kitchen and the buzz of conversations. Wooden floors can creak, hand-painted chests and wardrobes wink at modernist interior architects, and a library full of books invites you to immerse yourself in reading. There is a fire in the fireplace and hare accents on pillows, porch, walls, shelves ...

In the House at the End of the World, we have 18 beds for you in cozy double rooms and apartments. Each of them has its own bathroom.

We spend most of our time with guests in the common area - a lounge with a fireplace and a bookcase. There is also a kettle and coffee machine in the lounge. Additionally, on the first floor, there is a fridge at your disposal, where you can cool the milk for a child or a drink for parents. For the sake of your mental health, there is no TV in the House at the End of the World, thanks to which time slows down, the atmosphere improves, and people start talking to each other. Nobody is in a rush, there are no intrusive phone calls and no urgent matters.

The kitchen is the hostess's exclusive zone, where delicacies are made for breakfast and dinner.

For guests who prefer active recreation, we offer mountain bikes with maps describing the most interesting routes of the Bystrzyckie Mountains.

The stay of animals is possible only in the low season, i.e. excluding the holiday months, long weekends and holidays. We care about the peace and well-being of our guests, so please notify us in advance about your dog's arrival. Due to the limited space in our house, we cannot accommodate large dogs weighing an area. 15 kg.

We will feed you healthy, tasty and at home, but with a dose of madness. Not that we boast, but there are rumors that you can eat well here. I personally prepare breakfast for the guests, and at nine o'clock, we all sit down at a large table together with quietly moving jazz standards. It can accommodate 14 people and there will always be a place for you. In our pantry you will always find black garlic of our own production, mushrooms from our forest, preserves and unique beer brewed by Maciek.

In the kitchen, we experiment with adding black garlic to everything. The taste and texture of the dark cloves resemble a smoked plum with a hint of vanilla, balsamic vinegar and even truffles. We like to combine this umami taste with traditional Polish dishes. One clove thrown into the broth gives it a deep taste and color, garlic paste combined with olive oil and lemon gives a unique dressing, and black beans mixed with black garlic resemble nutella. We add it to meat sauces based on wine or lemon, borscht, pates, meats and roasts.

In the morning we are waiting for you at the richly set breakfast table (9.00 am), and at 6.00 pm we invite you for a two-course dinner.

There is a time for everything and everything is in its place. There are plenty of moments to devote attention to yourself and your loved ones, to talk, read and observe nature. According to the well-known sign "Hate and Intolerance Free Zone" at the end of the world, everyone is kind and smiling to each other. People talk about what is important in life, and what is less, but also about the complicated history of these lands, legends, its former inhabitants, and nature.

At the House at the End of the World, you do not need another pair of high heels, a fancy blouse and the latest phone model. A warm jacket and comfortable hiking shoes are enough. Our Kłodzko Land is primarily wonderful mountains, fabulous landscapes and unusual rock formations. Among them, there are dozens of hiking trails of varying difficulty, numerous bicycle routes and ski runs. However, someone would be wrong to think that the mountains surrounding the Kłodzko Valley with a ring are its only attraction.

The Kłodzko Poviat is widely recognized as the most attractive tourist destination in Poland. Are here:

Recently, we made friends with a wonderful man who for several years has devoted himself to saving one of the most magnificent palaces of Lower Silesia. Mr. Marek saved the palace in Gorzanów, located just a few kilometers from the House at the End of the World, from inevitable collapse. We try to ensure that all our guests have the opportunity to meet this extraordinary man and listen to his stories during a tour of the palace, the size of which is comparable to the Wawel Castle.

In our guest book, there are cards with bombastic drawings and nice sentences in pencil. The kids have fields and hills to show off here. We go to feed goats and chickens, discover secret paths, discover the smell of the forest and meadows at the end of the world. We watch the life of wild hares, collect bouquets of wild flowers, run and play forgotten games or build forest shelters. In winter, we organize sleigh madness on the hill behind the house, and the laughter is endless.

9 km from Paszków there is a summer toboggan run, which is a crazy attraction for children and adults. More than 450 meters of sledging, in which the skids were replaced with wheels and the snow with a steel gutter. Great, completely safe fun, although skilled tobogganers can reach speeds of up to 40 km per hour. The season runs from April 15 to October 15.
