There are a lot of sounds and smells in Masurian Lisy. Horses snorting, hooves pounding, children shouting, frogs croaking and leaves rustling. The smell of steaming coffee served in the mist over the pond. Previously, I read about one in novels, now I have it every day. I come from Mazovia, but for many years I lived in Scotland - it's really beautiful there, and yet I fell in love with Foxes at first sight, taking root more and more. There is simply no more beautiful piece of land.
It will be a country holiday without city stimuli. I have my own pets (remember they are household here): big dogs, cats and horses. Children will spend their days in the garden playing with dogs, looking for crayfish in the river and looking for herons by the pond. In case of bad weather, they will go wild in a barn filled with fragrant hay. They will ride horses, pet animals and look for a common language with them. One hundred percent they will. We all find.

For now, four apartments, fresh as buns in the bakery, are ready, each with a kitchenette, a bathroom with a shower cabin, and the Przy Studni apartment has a large bathtub. There is a bathrobe and towels in each apartment. Come at any time of the year, because the apartments are heated, and two of them, Słoneczny and Przy Lace, are equipped with a fireplace for cool evenings. There are TV sets in the rooms, but in our newest Apartment at the Well, there is no TV so that you have more time for yourself. We do breakfasts and dinners all year round. Whenever possible, all guests sit together at a common table. Each apartment is equipped with a kitchenette. There is a fridge, an induction hob and an electric kettle.
Be sure to make an evening bonfire :) - preferably every day and we always try to make a bonfire on the first evening so that everyone can get to know each other (Attention, in the bonfire we burn wood brought from the forest, please do not use our tree prepared for the winter and wood for fireplaces ... our forest it's 2 mins from the house it's really not far).
We will be happy to advise you where to have dinners and home-made food and how to find good local pubs and restaurants. We have been tourists here for 6 years, so we know what and how.
You definitely can't miss a small booth in Banie Mazurskie, where from May 1 there is a long queue for Mrs. Danusia's ice cream. They are cream, cocoa and fruit, and the price is like in the good old days - 3 Polish zlotys per ball.
You can also go to Banie Mazurskie for medal grapeshot. Bar "Młyn" is right next to Mrs. Danusia's ice cream parlor. Calories don't count here, and Kartacze even got several awards for the cake. It is like a cloud. People say it's the tastiest grapeshot in our part of the Milky Way. There are also soups, dumplings and local prices.
In a small village at the very tip of Poland (being the end so much that a few kilometers away a Russian operator jumps on the phone) there is no boredom even when doing nothing. The surrounding nature has done a great job and there are plenty of attractions. Great areas for bicycle trips and walks, right next to us a beaver habitat and a hunting pulpit for those hunting with a camera in hand, and behind the fence there are two ponds with herons, ducks and swans. For those thirsty for sensations, we have our pride - horses, so organizing lessons or trotting through the forests is not a problem for us.
In the evening it is always nice to sit by the grill or campfire. As long as you bring wood from the nearby forest earlier ;) and then it's nice to sit in the banya and look at the sky full of stars in nice company.
For fans of active recreation, we recommend the 13.5 km long bicycle trail from Banie Mazurskie through Żabin, Rapa and Mieduniszki, and the Green Velo trail that runs nearby. In turn, an excellent trail for canoeists is Gołdapa, which, due to its rushing current, is described by many as a mountain river - kayaking trips from Kruklanki.
We are located between the three cities of Giżycko, Gołdap and Węgorzewo, and each of them is approx. 25 km away, which makes us a nice starting point. And there's really a lot to see.

What’s there for children?
The kids have a paradise on earth and a vacation like at grandma's in one. At the parents' special request, we disconnect the Internet access and then look for boredom with a candle. In the morning there is feeding the horses and getting used to four hooves. Our mounts love children with reciprocity, and dogs (Feliks and Saba) and cats cannot imagine walking without their little companions. On the farm for children, we have prepared a playground, swings, and in winter there will certainly be some sleds. 10 minutes from the habitat you will find a canoe marina and an intimate beach, which is a paradise on hot days. For invincible explorers, we have bicycles and a yellow leader's jersey, and we also know good directions for cycling trips.
In the evening, the kids listen to the clamor of cranes, throw potatoes into the fire and fall asleep with a smile on their lips.
What’s there for employees?
In each apartment we have a table with min. 4 chairs and a sofa or armchair. However, if you come to us with family or friends, and working at the main table will be a miracle, you can separate yourself from them for a while and work in the room at the desk. Peace and quiet await you there.
