A few kilometres south-west of Krakow's Old Town, there is a house in the middle of a three-hectare, hilly garden, right next to the Wolski Forest. Domek Samotnia is a former writers' corner, where Roman Husarski wrote, but also his friend Stanisław Lem, who created his first part of the "Undefined Time" trilogy - "Szpital Przemienienia". There are many sculptures and works of art by Helena and Roman Husarski in the area, which can be seen both in the guesthouse and in the garden. Also, the Last Supper reconstructed in 2010. The creators left good energy here. We know that love for nature and fascination with art interpenetrate, resonating positively.
Wojciech Nowicki (writer, essayist and culinary critic), who was delighted with our homemade cheesecake, describes the space surrounding the guest house and Domek Samotnia in this way: "The area is undulating because it is the Vistula ice-marginal valley. Quiet, quiet, though only a few kilometres from the city. Opposite the villa, an orchard, with edible chestnuts in it, everything here is vast, every step a new landscape emerges from somewhere. " (A piece of land and a house. Artists' solitude ...).
The nature and space in which Ekosamotnia is located have inspired contemplation, tranquillity and creative work for many years. We invite you.

It's my turn... I have the great pleasure of running this beautiful and intimate guesthouse, which was given a new life in 2013 by my parents. Of course, they are still doing everything to make life better around and for the place not to lose its shine.
Ekosamotnia is a building commemorating the work of the late Helena and Roman Husarski, where you will find a lot of unconventional works - giving the interiors an extraordinary atmosphere. In addition, we are filled with love for animals and nature.
We run an Ecological Farm and we happily use our own fruit/vegetables in our tasty cuisine. Every now and then we make seasonal preserves or bread. In the autumn we are proud of our chestnut orchard - I assure you that the chestnut cake is delicious :)
We want to share our forest, unusual paradise on earth with you, we invite you!
