It is not true that there are no real nobles any more today. They live here in Perlejewo, but they do not wear robes, żupans, hubcaps and do not travel on horseback. They cultivate a family tradition, save the history of the Podlasie nobility from oblivion, cultivate Podlasie customs, breed cows and run an eco-farm.

On 30 hectares of meadows and pastures, by the flowing Pełchówka river, in an orchard and under the supervision of old maples, the adventures of our family have been going through the ages. The Podlasie manor has seen a lot. Tears of emotion, sadness, joy at birth, happiness from coming home, the idyll of Podlasie life, hard work and blissful rest by the light of an oil lamp. Generations of the Wierzbicki clan of Radwan coat of arms lived here from 1863.

The ancient manor house, largely preserved in its original form, has been our family home for almost 160 years. So we have a long story to tell. Great-grandfather Paweł, for example, in the interwar period of the 20th century, was the head of the community, and during the war, he was arrested by the NKVD and ended up in the Brześć fortress, from which he managed to happily return to his native Perlejewo. His son Franciszek, after going through the entire combat route, from Siberia, through Monte Cassino, to England, as a paramedic in the 2nd Polish Corps under the command of General Anders, returned to Podlasie, started a family and had three children. Among them, the only son, Roman, is our father. The roots of our family, however, go back to the 15th-century, so we have a whole book of stories to tell. Come and we will gladly share them with you.

Fans of glimpses into the past do not need to be convinced that this is a unique place for a vacation, and enthusiasts of design, glass and chrome do not have to be persuaded to vacation in a 19th-century manor house. We invite you to our farm, where the view of the pastures full of cows is our daily bread, the squeaky floors do not surprise anyone, the smell of wood is omnipresent, the bread is baked in a tiled stove, and the good spirits of previous household members live in old trunks. They guard peace and good sleep in starched sheets.

In the Wierzbicki family house, built in 1863, where 8 people can live. Until now, it has undergone several renovations, maintenance and has gained modern comforts such as kitchen equipment and modern bathrooms, but it has not lost its spirit. Aged beams, brick floors, the smell of old wood, this history cannot be built anew. The area surrounding the property is 30 hectares of meadows and pastures. The Pełchówka river meanders through these stretches of land, which sometimes decides to rise from its banks, creating beautiful floodplains several hundred meters wide.

We invite you along a row of spruce alley to a house that is guarded by huge maples. After crossing the threshold, you can move back in time. Antiques found with passion by the host, family souvenirs, e.g. a sofa in the living room, white mangled bedding, no internet and cows outside the window.
The spacious, bright kitchen is equipped with the achievements of civilization, but also encourages the use of a tiled kitchen, a bread oven or a stone cool cellar with an arched ceiling. The living room is a story with a tiled fireplace in the main role, and the glass in a historic cupboard encourage you to try our tincture based on organic fruit. Here you can immerse yourself in reading from our library and listen to music from vinyl records, CDs and the radio.

The following bedrooms await your guests:

Green room, a double bedroom with separate beds on the ground floor. You will find it just behind the kitchen and the tiled stove. It is modestly furnished with two single stylish beds and a spacious wardrobe, but it can pay off very warmly, even on winter days. The bathroom with a bathtub in the former alcove is shared with the maroon room.

The burgundy room is a double bedroom with a double bed. It is located right behind the living room and impresses with its classic elegance emphasized by gilded wallpaper, a tiled stove, an antique bed and a chandelier from the times of the Kingdom of Poland. The old trunk and the bathroom shared with the green room are the icing on the cake.

The blue room is a double bedroom with a double bed located in the attic. It has a large double bed and a set of whitewashed old furniture. It has its own bathroom with shower.

Pink room - a double room with a double bed located upstairs, opposite the blue room. It is equipped with Art Nouveau furniture, which, combined with the color of the walls, provide peace of mind.

We don't have TV or internet, because it doesn't suit us.

Like our ancestors, we now operate with patriotism in Podlasie. Hereford cows graze on our 30 hectares of pastures and meadows. Although we have over 80 cows and a herd of calves, we are not able to kill them for meat. We deliver the babies ourselves, we watch them grow, we feed them, we look after them and we cannot imagine eating a steak from our little ones. So you won't try their meat, but you can help us on the farm and admire our brown cows on the pastures.

At your disposal is a well-equipped, modern kitchen with all modern amenities. There is also a tiled stove with pipes where you can cook. We are happy to take you to local farmers where you can buy wonderful country products. The neighbor behind the road has an apiary and delicious honey. Farmers from Perlejewo can buy country eggs (we have no idea what the store eggs taste like), and there is a farm in the area that produces cold cuts and cheese. On Wednesdays, there is a market in our village, and there are all the good things of nature. A mobile bakery will definitely be an attraction for townspeople. And in the summer season, all the kids in the neighborhood flock to the ice cream truck!

15 km from us, in Koryciny, there is Karczma Ziołowego Zakątka. Here weeds are eaten at its best. You can find nettle soup, dumplings with wild garlic or ice cream with rose petals. In addition, you can buy homemade herbs, oils, teas, spices and other natural products in the herbal shop.

There is no silence around, only the smell of flowers is "heard". If you don't need anything more to have a good rest, you've come to the right place. We have around 30 hectares of our own meadows and pastures around. You can walk as much as you want, soak your feet in the Pełchówka river that flows through our area, laze in the orchard, take picnics in the garden, inspect buildings, e.g. an old, unused barn and look at the fudges. If you only want to experience a real rural adventure, we invite you to help with calves and mothers. New experiences guaranteed. We have grazing in the summer so you will keep an eye on our brown and white herefords.

In summer, we also open a large swimming pool in the garden, which is at your disposal. Dive, splash and listen to the rural silence interspersed with the sounds of harvesting and other field work.

We have an extraordinary surrounding nature for you, the vicinity of Buga, an extraordinary space to spend time with family, friends and yourself. If you need advice on what and how in the area, we are available with our extensive knowledge of the region. Our house is located in the habitat.

For delicious local food, wine from the area, meringue worth a sin and a wonderful sękacz, come to the Princess Anna Farm.

Like Granne on the Bug River. Rent kayaks here and admire the nature during the rafting. We recommend the Granne - Drohiczyn route. Also in Granne, when the water level in the river is low, you can observe unusual formations hidden in the water. These are apparently the remains of the so-called during the Napoleonic, i.e. the crossing of the Bug River 200 years ago. The dikes regulating the riverbed were built of stones, while the piling probably testifies to the mill located here.

For the vivid Podlasie culture, local customs and delicious food, go to Ciechanowiec. Every year during the summer holidays at the Agricultural Museum, Podlasie Bread Festival is held here. You can see the harvest here like over 100 years ago, threshing grain, plowing quail. You will buy local delicacies, and of course bread.

For everything that is herbal, local and special only to the Herbal Corner. There you can eat delicious weeds, buy wonderful blends of teas, herbs and spices, home-made oils, fresh fruit and vegetables and other green eco products. You can visit their Podlasie Herb Garden, a historic church, a ceramics workshop, Podlasie Natural Farm, etc.

15 km from us in the village of Bujenka you will find a ranch on Sówka. Here you can pet cute alpacas and ponies, eat a large piece of cake in a nice cafe of the owners and buy products made of alpaca wool.

Children in the countryside never get bored. We will tell you which hosts have chanterelles and where to get green eggs, which farmer has a tractor and which harvester, we will show you what a small bull looks like, and like a cow, we will count the common cows in the pasture. You will see buckwheat growing, wheat growing, and potatoes blooming. You can buy ice cream from the car coming to the village, splash in the pool and look behind the barn. You can go for a walk to the river, play football, pick wild flowers and go to the open-air museum in Ciechanowiec. Play a history board game, take your bikes and go, light a fire and bake potatoes. Then salt, butter, chives from the garden and the best holiday memories guaranteed.
