You need to know a few things about us. We wanted to combine our love for nature and wine in the Manor. To create an elegant and classy place. Here, in Roztocze, in a place where vines grow well. It's all thanks to the sun. 1683 is the average annual number of hours of sunshine in Roztocze. The highest in the whole country. This means that Dwór Sanna is more cheerful in both climate and mood, and if we fill your glasses with our wine and offer you something tasty to go with it - the atmosphere barometer looks different than in the rest of Poland...
We have a four-star hotel for you, but also rooms to let in the historic farm section. In addition, we run an organic farm, from which high-quality ingredients for dishes served in our restaurant come, e.g. vegetables, fruit, artisan cheeses. The family vineyard completes your experience. The wines of Dwor Sanna are created in a traditional artisanal way. All the grapes are hand-picked and the entire production process is carried out according to the principles of ecological biodiversity. The vineyard was established in 2012, it is currently 3 hectares in size, but it is expanding every year.
We hope you will enjoy your time here. You are invited.
Our hotel is located in a manor from the second half of the 19th century. At the beginning of the 21st century, it was carefully restored by our family, turning it into a unique hotel facility. We also offer accommodation on the farm, next to the vineyard - in Folwark. In total, there are 12 rooms in the hotel and 7 in Folwark. Around the Sanna Manor, there are picturesque areas cut by numerous ravines, where you can wander for hours.
The hotel is surrounded by a historic park with an area of 6 hectares with unique trees, historic buildings, almost 4 kilometers of walking paths, as well as fish ponds and the spring of the Sanna River. The entire property is over 32 hectares of green area, which is an ideal space for relaxation and tranquility.
In our menu you will find dishes prepared from local products and our greengrocer, as well as dishes for people who like culinary surprises. Our chef has also created a special tasting menu that you can delight with its form and original taste. Of course, we have not forgotten about dishes for allergy sufferers, vegetarians and vegans.
If you like smoked products, you've come to the right place. We run our own smokehouse and in our restaurant we serve cold cuts, goose and other delicacies that we prepare ourselves.
Ela is a cheese specialist and plans to open her own cheese factory in the future. We also make our own preserves in three flavors, and we brew teas from our mint and nettle. In addition, our area is called the raspberry basin, and in our pond there are also trouts that can be found grilled on our menu.
At the request of our guests, we also prepare special offers for larger groups.
You can walk for hours in the park surrounding Dwór Sanna. Almost 200-year-old hornbeam alley, unique tree stand and lush vegetation are the perfect scenery for Nordic walking or jogging. Guests also have at their disposal 2 fishing ponds located on the premises of our facility. There are a dozen or so larger bodies of water in the area (ponds, fisheries and lakes). A cross commemorating the January Uprising has remained on the premises of the Sanna Manor, and at the entrance to the manor you can come across a monument from 1923, reminding how local residents welcomed Józef Piłsudski with bread and salt. The Marshal's monument is also located in the nearby Modliborzyce, where the 18th-century synagogue deserves special attention, and today it is used as a community center.
Roztocze is cut by a network of ravines, which is an undoubted attraction for people looking for relaxation in the bosom of nature and places away from civilization. There are numerous bicycle routes around the Sanna Manor - so you can take a trip along the trail of clay pots, go to the Forest Treasury or cross the Janów and Modliborska loop. Fans of water sports can take advantage of canoeing trips (we organize them at the special request of our guests). Nearby there is also the Janowski Lagoon with crystal clear water and sand considered to be one of the cleanest in Poland, and next to it the Zoom Natury recreation park.
We are lucky that the Sanna Manor is surrounded by several nature reserves. The largest of them - Solska Primeval Forest - was once called Nizioł (the similarity of the name seems not to be accidental) is a bird refuge (IBA) and a Bilgoraj horse. There you can come across such unique specimens of nature as the golden-headed lily or the old man Fuchs. In the Janowskie Forests, there is a chance to meet deer, roe deer, wild boar, and even an elk or raccoon dog, and in the Imielty Ług reserve there are kilometers of paths on special viewing platforms among peat bogs. We also recommend going to Kaczych Błota, going to Jastkowice for Eastern Carpathian peas, to Potok Wielki for royal carp and preferably to Stojeszyn, where the forests abound in blackberries, raspberries and mushrooms.
One of the most important historical sites in the region is Porytowe Wzgórze, where in 1944 one of the largest guerrilla battles of World War II took place. It is hard to miss the historical and natural path in the Lasy Janowskie reserve, with a monumental monument carved by Bronisław Chromy.
The Kruczek forest wilderness with the chapel of St. Anthony is the legendary residence of the saint, where he stopped to rest. There is a spring there which is credited with healing properties. Regional traditions are also worth paying attention to: Suka Biłgorajska's School, historic pottery workshops producing tiles in Łążek Garncarski or road crosses unique on a European scale.
We assure you that this is only a foretaste of the attractions. There is still a lot to discover in the area.
What’s there for children?
For children, we have prepared a playground with slides. The huge park area will not let them get bored quickly.
In addition, on request, we can organize horseback riding or a walk around the vineyard with a horse. Our friendly goats will also be happy to say hello and go for a walk.
In the vicinity, children can also take advantage of the Rope Park in Janów Lubelski, as well as a number of other attractions offered by Zoom Natury. Active kids can jump in Janów Lubelski in the Rope Park. For the thrill-seekers, special attractions have been prepared: a rope slide over the beach and the reservoir, a devil's pendulum and a downward vertical jump with a progressive braking system.
