Szczere Pole, (honest field), with an over 100-year-old house in the style of a Polish manor house. A pier on a spring lake, horses in the meadows, a milky way in the sky and only fields, forests around. Such an image, let us be damned if it's not real. All this here, in the picturesque colony of Wierzchówko, on the border of Bory Krajeńskie in the West Pomeranian Province.
We host people here who think like us. In the morning, we go out to feed the cows, in the evening we throw carrots to our horses for a good night, then light the fire and tell stories with a clear conscience. We eat fruit straight from the bush and vegetables straight from the ground, warm ourselves in the sauna after swimming in the pool and sit for hours on the pier in the hope of catching a giant catfish. It will be a real vacation, come on over.
In a 100-year-old house where you can feel like a courtier. Two of the apartments in the manor house can accommodate a maximum of 8 people. You can come in a group of 16 and take over the entire area. Guests prefer the mezzanine, ask when booking. Bring plenty of wine with you, because everything else is already here. We spend evenings here by the bonfire or barbecue in the open air, and sometimes under a shelter when the rain decides to irrigate the surrounding fields. In 2019, we opened a new apartment for you located in our stable, it is created especially for couples or families with two children.
The first apartment (approx. 50m2) consists of:
A small bedroom with 1 single bed and 1 double bed.
A large bedroom with 1 single bed, 1 double bed and 1 double sofa bed.
A sleeping mezzanine with two single beds.
Living room connected to the dining room.
Kitchenette with all the equipment.
Bathroom with shower.
The second apartment (approx. 50m2) consists of:
A small bedroom with 1 single bed and 1 double bed.
A large bedroom with 2 single beds and 1 double bed.
A sleeping mezzanine with two single beds.
Living room connected to the dining room.
Kitchenette with all the equipment.
Bathroom with shower.
The apartment for a couple in the stable (approx. 40m2) consists of:
A bedroom with 1 large double bed and the possibility of a single extra bed.
Living room connected to the kitchenette with a double sofa bed.
Bathroom with shower.
We will be happy to welcome you with your pets. The manor house will have bowls and blankets/beds for them. We also have food!
Each apartment has a fully equipped kitchenette and dining room. You can cook like Gordom Ramsay and carry out kitchen revolutions like Magda Gessler. Everything using healthy, country products.
You can buy country eggs from happy chickens and ducks from our neighbors.
Almost every local shop has the pride of the region: Drahimski honey from local beekeepers.
For dinner or lunch you can catch fish in the lake.
You can also book a barbecue hut or use the bonfire and barbecue on the farm.
If everyday cooking is not your dream come true, I can wholeheartedly recommend:
- Home dinners at Mrs. Iwona's. Just order the day before. They are proud also in our village.
- "Wenecja" restaurant in Złocieniec, where they prepare super fish.
- "Ryby Lubie" restaurant at Lake Lubie in Lubieszewo. They are virtuosos in preparing fish. Great baked, smoked and grilled!
Our most wonderful asset is that we are actually in the middle of nowhere, where you will find true peace and quiet, which, like the best meditation, will put you in a great mood
In addition, we have prepared for your constant disposal:

swimming pool open in the summer season,
small playground for children,
boats and canoes for use on the nearby lake, where we provide our own pier.
On our premises we have created "Sielska Osada", a complex, i.e. a rural SPA and entertainment zone. In the wooden houses on the glade there is:
- salt cottage with mini graduation tower, music therapy, color therapy and air conditioning,
- sauna with wood-burning stove,
- shelter with a barrel of cold water and rain shower - grill cottage with a grill for grilling, roasting and frying. Right next to it, in the clearing, there is a place for crazy feasts until the morning by the bonfire. Don't forget your guitar and songbooks!
In addition:
- The Dolne spring lake is 300 meters away from the manor. You can sail out in boats and canoes into the unknown and look for beavers' hideout, try to take a photo and admire their work at the dam. You can fish from the private pier and from the boat. For experienced anglers, pike, tench and catfish are hidden in the depths of the water.
- Lake Wąsosze is about 2 km away. Fishing or reading books are recommended! You can spend the whole day on the meadow adjacent to the lake, camping by the bonfire. During picnic breaks, we recommend jumping into the water.
- We also run a rare breed of Highlaner cows (a Scottish mountain breed, bred by the Queen of England, among others). The pastures are located close to the house, so you can visit our cuties every day. Photos with these soft, long-horned animals will be a great souvenir from your stay with us.
- horse riding with an instructor for children and beginners. We are not a stud farm, but for someone who would like to try their hand at riding and get closer to horses, this is a good start. Rides must be arranged in advance, preferably when booking a place.
- berries, mushroom picking, hiking and cycling along tourist trails and kayaking on the Drawa River
What’s there for children?
- For all animal lovers, both small and big, we have our cheerful cow pen. However, these are not ordinary cows. Highlands are hairy, soft and horned cows that bring a lot of joy. We take the kids to feed the herd. Twenty-something hungry cows rushing towards you is a really great experience.
- We also have 2 horses that are ready for rides with an instructor
- A domestic cat will also be great companions in everyday games.
It is known that playing outdoors is the best idea for a vacation, so the kids will definitely like our playground with swings, a slide and a sandbox, as well as a quite large trampoline.
In the summer, we set up a swimming pool the size of Lake Balaton in the garden.
