Happy people live here who have caught up with their dreams of a big garden, renovated a very old house and lived in it with a few abandoned animals. The showers are 100 years old, the wardrobes 200, and the oldest parts of the house come from the reign of Sigismund Augustus and his beautiful romance with Barbara Radziwiłł. These are just a little story because we don't know everything yet. The house only tells us what it wants and we wait patiently.
You will eat here delicious breakfasts at a shared table, you will meet many interesting characters, you will learn the secrets of vegetarian cuisine and healthy food, we will tell some interesting stories, perhaps we will infect you with love for Lower Silesia and the Izera Foothills. Move with us in time and space to a world that seems to be a better one. We are waiting for you here.
The house is really old - the oldest part of it is probably half a thousand years old. We have equipped the interiors with antiques and their replicas, trying to match the period. We became regular visitors to open-air museums, we hunted for old furniture. There is a hundred-year-old shower in Dzikich Róży, clothes are kept in old Lower Silesian wardrobes and one would probably sleep on old beds, had we not discovered that they were only 180 cm long. The beds are therefore new, although designed in the spirit of those times and definitely longer ...
We offer our guests five rooms, which can accommodate 16 people.
On the ground floor:
• double studio room with kitchenette and separate entrance.
On the floor:
• two triple rooms with one double bed and one single bed.
• quadruple room: two single beds and two beds forming a double bed (they can be separated).
• two-room apartment: a bedroom with a double bed and a living room with a double sofa bed.
On the first floor there is also 50 m2 of common space for guests: a fully equipped kitchenette, a table for fourteen people and a seating area with a library and a fireplace.
Guests have at their disposal a yoga room with an area of 65 m2.
We try to show how much flavor there is in vegetarian cuisine and this is what we practice. You can be sure that the milk comes from cows grazing nearby, tomatoes from our greenhouse, eggs from free-running hens, and we make various types of cheese ourselves. The vegetables and fruits come from our vegetable gardens and orchard and are chemical-free. We work with local farms, gratefully buying from them everything that the local land gave birth to.
You will eat breakfast and dinner at one common table, on which we will put various types of homemade cottage cheese, various bread spreads, fresh, fragrant bread, milk straight from the cow, honey, homemade jams and everything that we consider to be "clean" food - healthy, growing at an unhurried pace, in their own way. He will be very social and very slow.
On request, we can prepare vegan or gluten-free dishes.
You can always cook something yourself - a well-equipped kitchen awaits culinary lovers, and one of the rooms has its own kitchenette.
The foothills and the Jizera Mountains are worth exploring by bike and you don't really need to be Lance Armstrong. You can also walk a lot, run a little (the Mecca of all cross-country skiers) or just laze around. You can take part in handicraft workshops or go canoeing on the Bóbr.
We have prepared for our guests:
summer kitchen with grill and smokehouse
sauna
place for a bonfire
five bicycles
pond with a pebble beach
flower garden
dining room with kitchenette, sofa and fireplace
and in our library, apart from novels, we have guides, albums and maps, and ready-made trails in our heads.
