Quick check

Here we have a 100-year-old farm with an orchard and a pond, 2 Gypsy horses to pet, 5 minutes to the lake and the vastness of the Borecka Forest with everything it brings: greenery, the smell of the forest and insects. According to Masurian legends, tourists are lurked by Scares who confuse the roads (and disturb the GSM signal), evil lurks in Gębałka, and Topnik emerges from Lake Wolisko. If you still think that you want to come to the countryside to the lake - please read the next paragraph.

So first about the horses. They came with us from England and, to be honest, they didn't have the best time there. This is an unusual and beautiful Gypsy Cob breed - family friendly and balanced. Both of our horses have been through a lot of trials and are better suited to having braids braided on their manes than under saddle. That's why we don't have a riding school, and our horses are a bit like big mascots.

Now about the legends. All 27 were collected and described by a teacher from Kuty, Jadwiga Tressenberg. For this purpose, she wandered around the area, collecting them from the Masuria people who remained there after the war. And thanks to local involvement, a bicycle trail was created on this basis. 102 kilometers of bicycle travel, at each station there is a wooden sculpture and a description of the legend.

We want you to get to know Masuria from a different side, the quiet, slightly mysterious one, untouched by commercialized tourism. We take care of your rest by providing our home, animals and (if our duties allow it) inviting you to long conversations at the table together. We want to share our Masurian paradise with you, but at the same time we ask you to respect the rules applicable here. Because Folwark is our home and place on Earth. We invite you if this silence is what you are looking for.

We are on-site, we want to get to know our guests better (always ready to talk and participate)

After many years of wandering abroad and a fast lifestyle, we wanted to return to our roots and childhood dreams, and we came to Poland. We both love nature, animals and peace, so we started looking for a farm where we could do things our own way. It was supposed to be a small German cottage to be renovated, a stable for 2 horses and a piece of meadow. Now there is a big house, a huge 19th-century stable, a pond, an orchard and over 2 hectares of greenery. All this is located on the edge of Borecka Forest, in Garbatian Masuria, by the trail of magical Masurian legends, which we try to save from oblivion every day. A dog, two horses and two cats, live with us at the manor. We share our Masurian paradise with you: a peaceful home, healthy food and silence, which is so hard to find nowadays. We wholeheartedly invite you.

Cisza, spokój, niedaleko czyste jeziorko, ale do publicznej plaży jest kawałek (najlepiej dojeżdżać rowerem). Smaczne śniadania i kolacje, chociaż o kolacjach mieliśmy inne wyobrażenie. Akurat w trakcie naszego pobytu, jedliśmy głównie wariacje na temat ziemniaków... 1. Babka ziemniaczana 2. Pierogi ruskie 3. Kartacze z pieczarką 4. Rybka z ziemniakami.

Gospodarze przyjaźni, a jedzenie ekologiczne, swojskie i proste. Polecamy odwiedzić, aby spotkać się z naturą oko w oko.
