There is a place on the map of Poland that borders with many magical regions and is hidden among the fields and only the insiders know where it is. Near Morąg, on the border of Warmia, Powiśle, Żuławy and Masuria, in the country once called Oberland is a land flowing with goat milk. We the hosts, Kasia and Grzegorz, are enthusiasts of goats, cheese and the natural chemistry of healthy food. We have a vivid imagination, energy for eco-friendly change and a pretty solid memory. We know all the names of our happy animals. 140 goats, a mare, three dogs, a cat, geese and chickens live in the Złotna Goat Farm. Our intimate agrotourism offers two rooms, but we also have an eco-farm, where we raise goats, make cheese, meet with clients, youngsters and school children, educate people on how to live closer to nature, and organise tastings. So it’s a place to relax, but also to work and live a normal life. If you need complete silence throughout your stay, you will not find it here, because we live in the countryside so you’ll hear a tractor passing and a dog barking. In the morning, we enjoy a leisurely breakfast, taste smoked goat cheese, cottage cheese with raspberries, drink apple juice from our orchard, enjoy the herb bundz and crunchy bread with goat ricotta. Then run to the yard to guard the field against a goat invasion, because baby plants stand no chance against the sweet mouths of our goats. Then it’s time to go to the cheese dairy, work in the vegetable garden, tend the goats, cook dinner for guests and prepare the rooms. That's how it is with us. Sometimes you can go out with the goats for an evening walk, take a bath in the nearby Lake Narie, sit down with guests for dinner together and savour cheese, talk about everything and nothing, and always find time to relax. In the summer, you’ll be among the raspberry bushes, and in autumn, in the orchard, among apples, with fresh yoghurt in hand. We are waiting for you – for all the conversations, baking bread together, evening bonfires and walks to the meadow in the morning fog. The goats are looking forward to cuddling, dogs to petting and Holka the mare to combing and feeding. We will certainly learn something from each other and inspire each other. The greatest joy for us is when you come back and we can’t wait to meet again and the relationship ‘host-guest’ has long been replaced by the relationship ‘good friends.’

Here Slowhop will describe your place

Kasia i Grzegorz
Kozia Farma Złotna is a place that was established nine years ago. From the deteriorating habitat, we have created a certified organic farm with a large herd of "cuddly" goats. We pet them, feed them, go to the meadows with them, look after them, and most of all, we make truly ecological cheeses from their milk. The idea that guides us is to return to the sources, to clean, healthy food unpolluted by chemicals. We share our place to live with guests who are invited to an intimate agritourism. Adults - for real, natural food, lazy afternoons under a cherry with a board of cheeses and a glass of good wine, older and younger youth for capratherapy - yes, the company of goats is therapeutic.

On our ecological farm, i.e. an intimate agritourism in a flesh and blood village. We have only two comfortably furnished, independent rooms with private bathrooms and a shared dining room. We have a place for six adults and additional beds for at least two children, so couples, families with children, smaller groups of friends and lonely travelers will feel good here. You sleep with us on comfortable beds with anti-allergic bedding in the hotel standard. We took care of the comfort of rest in the form of comfortable armchairs, additional blankets and soft pillows. For your peace of mind, there are no TVs or Wi-Fi coverage in the rooms. In the family room you will find four full-size single beds, two of which can be combined into one double bed (180 cm x 200 cm) with a hand-upholstered soft headboard. There is also a desk, wardrobe and locker for storing suitcases. There are also mosquito nets and blinds in the roof windows, allowing you to rest well and sleep longer. The most liked element of this room by our guests is the under-window bench - an ideal place for reading and holiday reflection. The last "piece of furniture" is the hammock in the room, dreamed by our guests' daughter, it just had to appear. Well, for now, it has been, because the next guests cannot imagine taking it off. In a double room - we have two beds that can be combined into one double, a comfortable armchair and a wardrobe. In both rooms there is also a cot for a child and an additional mattress, which can be used if needed. Both bathrooms are simply furnished. They are equipped with a toilet, washbasin and shower cubicle. You will find there soap, shampoo, hair dryer and towels. The common space includes a dining table and a kitchenette with a sink, fridge, toaster, electric kettle with a selection of teas and coffee, and all the cups, plates, plates and cutlery you need. In addition to preparing a cold meal (or toast), it is not possible to cook yourself. However, it is possible to use the meals prepared by us. In the entrance hall, next to the stairs leading to the agritourism attic, we have a window through which you can view the operation of our cheese dairy. Due to our goats, horses, cats and dogs, we do not accept any animals on the farm. During summer holidays we reserve rooms for at least five nights.

As for an eco-farm with goats in the lead role, it will be tasty, healthy and satisfying. We want you to feel the taste of fresh milk and homemade yoghurt, the aroma of raspberries picked straight from the bush and pumpkins from our flower bed. Our greatest treasure are goats, and it is their milk that is used to make truly ecological cheeses: short-ripened rennet cheeses, cream cottage cheese made of pasteurized and unpasteurized milk, brine and hard goat cheeses, as well as yoghurts and kefirs. The range of dairy madness includes Dutch type hard farm cheese, goat ricotta, herbal bungee, French-inspired Cabri and other cheese experiments. We have a different position on the menu for each season and weather. Invariably, however, breakfasts are celebrated by us with reverence. Always included in the price, hearty and delicious. In addition to cheeses, we serve homemade preserves, preserves, very often we bake sourdough bread from organic flour and every day a different hot dish - yoghurt pancakes, scrambled eggs made of real eggs, and pancakes. Depending on our time possibilities and your preferences, we can additionally arrange: - cold dinner (our cheese board, seasonal vegetables, bruschetta / bread, coffee / tea), - warm dinner - hot dish + as above. Our autumn classic is pumpkin soup and stuffed courgettes. In summer, we choose a raspberry cocktail based on our goat yogurt, Lithuanian cold soup, and fried whitefish.

It only depends on you. Goat Farm is located in a colony, a kilometer behind the village, peace and no neighbors are included in the package. We have many secluded and secluded places here, e.g. an orchard, a meadow, a place by a pond. So if you want to get bored, you will have plenty of conditions for it. So what to do when around the meadow to the horizon? You can lie down in a hammock, on a deckchair, or relax on a swing in the orchard, eating apples straight from the tree. You can sit on the terrace in a rocking chair and read a book or magazine from our library. You can go for a walk with Nordic walking poles (we have 3 sets for you, and the proposed walking routes are on the maps). First of all, you can visit our goats in the yard and in the goat's house. However, it is best to go to the meadow with them - watch how they behave in their natural surroundings, taking into account that rather than eating, some of the most social will demand to be petted. There are also those that are great companions for lying on the grass, picnicking and hugging. We have guests who go with the blanket to the meadow together with the goats and spend half a day there. A walk in the immediate vicinity can also be an interesting sightseeing trip. Living "in the colony", the village is also a kind of attraction. It is a tiny, but very charming village with a beautiful wild lake. You can fish there (with a fishing license) or sit on the pier and gaze at the blooming water lilies. There are also some traditional farms in the village where the cows graze on the grass. This way of feeding animals becomes rare. We are all the more happy about this neighborhood. If you feel like it, we will prepare a free cheese tasting for you, and we can introduce the more inquisitive into the secrets of their production. Similarly - we will show you around the farm. From the goat's house and milking parlor to the goats' farm and meeting our Holka - a Małopolska mare. We always provide knowledge about attractive places in the area, e.g. other farms worth visiting, resting on Lake Narie with a bathing pier and a canoe rental, boats and pedal boats along the route of the Ostróda - Elbląg Canal - a 19th-century masterpiece of water engineering and other places about which you will find out on the spot. We will provide you with maps describing forest tourist routes for hiking or biking trips (it is possible to rent three bikes at our farm).

What’s there for children?

Children will run, jump, stroke, ride, swim, romp, and most of all, relax. Eat fresh fruit straight from the trees, drink homemade apple juice and yoghurt from our goat milk. It will be tasty, homely, rustic and without tension. New, natural flavors, cheese tasting and very often discovery - food does not have to be sweet to be delicious! We will also show our little explorers around the farm. There will be races with our herd in the meadow, stroking, feeding and lying belly up with Eklerka, Ekstra, Grzywcia, Gałeczka and over a hundred goats. Children can also take advantage of the sandbox, books, coloring books and a mobile toy box. There are two ponds on the farm. We provide unlimited access to them with deckchairs or picnic mats, but we kindly ask you to pay attention and ensure the safety of children.

Gorąco polecam to miejsce każdemu szukającemu chwili spokoju i uroku wiejskiego życia!

5

Nielimitowany czas z kozami ;)
