A place for a digital detox, treatment from numbers, dates, a rehab from Mondays. Rather, they don't exist. There is day and night, maybe mornings are for coffee on the porch, lazy afternoons for hanging from the hammock, early evenings for singing by the fire, late evenings for discussions by the fireplace, which last as long as the Russian "War and Peace", and at the end they fall into the same level of abstraction. There are also picturesque autumn teas with a gloved hand, smacking admiration for the tiled stove and kisses in the moonlight.
We have some art for you here, we love vinyls, cupboards and threadbare mirrors that don't have to convey the truth. We have an atmosphere from years ago, from the country of childhood or a movie about the English countryside. We are not chasing our times at all, we are not chasing anything at all, maybe only our dog and son are still running around somewhere.
Come to us at the end of the world, there is your own Piknikowe Pole, hen weekends with wreaths, there are lakes, forests, fields and garden parties. We have a soft spot for small lamps, Led Zepellin and nice guests. We invite you.
Łan Sztuk is a hundred-year-old house with a history, separated from reality by distance and atmosphere. It is full of antiques and contexts, like us attached to interesting stories. You can choose:
1. A small house for a couple
2. A green orangery with a beautiful view of the setting sun, where you can have breakfast or cake and drink coffee. There are also platforms with armchairs in the garden. 3. Wooden house (rented as a whole)
Downstairs there is a living room with a kitchen, outside there is also a covered veranda, where you can eat meals. Next to the living room there is a two-room space with a bathroom, in the first Wooden room there is a double bed, in the second room two single beds.
Upstairs there is the Mint Room with a bathroom, in it a double bed, a single bed and a cot.
The Raspberry and Olive rooms are smaller, and each of them has a double bed. These two rooms share one bathroom in the corridor.
We spend time together in the dining room chatting, on the veranda for longer chats, in the garden, orchard, and in the glassed-in conservatory during the rain.
You can have a country breakfast in our orangery and in the afternoon we have tarts, cakes, coffee and herbal teas. Depending on the season, they will include vegetables/fruits from our garden or from our neighbors, goat/cow cheese, smoked fish, juices, milk, eggs from friendly hens, and honey. Freshly baked bread and challah.
But if you don't want to - we have several good places with decent food. Besides, the kitchen is wide open, you can prepare whatever you need.
You don't really have to move anywhere, you can recommend lying down with a mug in your hand and thinking. Or talk, we like talking to guests. You can take a little bit of the neighborhood and here it is:
- smell how much lavender smells in the Lavender Field
- have a picnic on the Picnic Field (our field with a view)
- go to the Saturday Niwa cafe in Kwaśne Jabłko
- eat the best ice cream in the area (we will reveal where)
- go kayaking (we'll tell you where it's best)
- go horseback riding (we know where)
- to run
- use the Camp Spa
- ride bicycles
- eat nice things
- visit the Węgajty Theater in the summer
- organize a hen party
- or a photo session (we will help)
- an open-air museum in Olsztynek, from which no one has yet returned disappointed
- the glassworks in Olsztynek, where you can see the production and buy some nice trinkets
- sailing along the Ostróda-Elbląg canal, leading through unique slipways and a system of sluices
And other such...
What’s there for children?
Here it is a bit like in the Swedish countryside in the Ragunda commune, where there are a lot of lakes, children run barefoot, dogs run behind them and all the little ones have smeared faces. It's the same with us, and although it's not Sweden, we have one Emil from Smaalandia with his own dog. We also have a playground, and for education we offer the Open-Air Museum in Olsztynek and creative workshops.
And of the useful things:
- each room has a smaller bed for a child
- shower trays are deep - you can bathe your child in them without the need for a bathtub
- if necessary - we have cots for babies
