At a glance
The village of Rotembark does not have its own fan club. Only a handful of people know about its existence, including us, its inhabitants. Now you know it too, so maybe it's worth getting to know each other better. There are as many residents as a cat cried, but we have a great community. The northern edge of the Wdzydze Landscape Park, Kashubia, near the lakes, the edge of the forest. There is no shop or bus stop in Rotembark, but the famous Kashubian poet Frãc Sãdziczi was born here. He wrote in Kashubian and about Kashubia, and for this he received the Knight's Cross of the Order of Polonia Restituta. You can try to tackle his work, but anyone who can decipher the content of even fairy tales, not to mention poems, poems and novels, will be spoiled for choice.
It is in this poetic atmosphere, at the end of the road, among the trees, that we live - a family of three with a Labrador named Kora. They have signed a ban on competition with other animals, so respecting their rules, we invite you without pets. On the same forest plot, using stones from nearby fields, boards from an over 200-year-old barn, old bricks from Toruń and thatch from Masuria, we built a beautiful house inspired by old Kashubian cottages. It stands a comfortable distance from ours and has two separate relaxation suites. If you value great bicycle routes, a kilometer distance from the lake, silence, the company of a Labrador, a private forest, peace of yourself and others, we invite you.

The one always smiling, peering through rose-tinted glasses, is me. Wedding photographer, husband and dad, guardian of our relaxed Labrador, Korunia, and our stray cat, Pusia. Leśna Strzecha is our pride and joy. A house we poured a lot of work, passion, and nerves into, but you know how construction is. Now we can feast our eyes on it, while you relax in our private forest, nestled in the Wdzydze Landscape Park, with lakes nearby and far away.
