Meet - Discover - Explore. In free translation it means: meeting - discovering - relaxing. This is what a holiday with us looks like, in a small mountain village between the high, sharp peaks of the Alps.

First of all, holidays are meetings. In Mallnbach, we do not lock ourselves in our apartments in the evenings, but go out into the garden and spend time together. Someone is baking a pizza, someone else is grilling something, kids are running around, baking marshmallows. We get to know each other, we tell what we did, we exchange impressions, we listen to tips, we just chat. We finish late at night, warming ourselves with the warmth of the fire and listening to the silence.

Second, vacation is exploring. Alone, together with family, friends, other half. Our village may be small, but its surroundings are rich. I guess it is impossible to count all the possibilities to spend time here. There are bikes, downhill and cross-country skiing trails, lots of hiking trails, nearby lakes and rivers and the garden itself. Something for big and small.

And third, vacation is relaxation. Let's not forget about the most important thing - you need to rest and gather strength for the next year of operation. We have some good ways to relax all tense muscles and turn off your brain. You can stretch out in a hammock and take an unplanned nap, sit with a book in the garden, watch the sunrise with a cup of coffee on the balcony or at the stars at dusk. And falling asleep to the accompaniment of the hum of a brook works like the best practices of the hypnotist.

In the small village of Mallnitz, hidden between the mighty alpine peaks. Thanks to this, you can breathe in fresh mountain air here in the morning, and gaze at the starry sky in the evening. We will welcome you in one of the 8 apartments, all of them are spacious and equipped to provide you with complete freedom and independence. We also have good news - most of the rooms have a balcony or a small terrace in our garden.

Let's move on to the apartments. Each of them has a bathroom with shower, kitchenette, TV and a sleeping area. As for the distribution, the matter is as follows:

- Sauleck apartment - double with the option of an extra bed. There is access to a small terrace from the room.

- Buro apartment - a double room with a small terrace.

-Alm Blick apartment - a four-person apartment with two bedrooms, a double bed in one, and two single beds in the other and an extra bed. There is also a living room, a bathtub in the bathroom and a balcony.

-Apartment Am Bach - a four-person apartment with two bedrooms, one double bed in one, and two single beds in the other and an extra bed. There is also a living room, a bathroom with a bathtub and a small terrace.

-Ankogel apartment - a newly renovated four-bed room, in which you will find two bedrooms, one with a double bed, and the other with 2 single beds and an extra bed option. There is also a lounge and a small terrace.

- Dösen apartment - four-person apartment with two bedrooms. In addition, a living room and a transition to a small terrace.

- Stappitz apartment - for four people with two bedrooms, a living room and a balcony.

- Hausleralm apartment - a six-person apartment with 3 bedrooms. There is also a lounge, balcony and access to the roof terrace.

And when the weather is fine, we all go out to the shared garden. A mountain stream flows quietly right next to it. You can sit here and be constantly impressed by the beautiful views, relax with a book or have a barbecue feast.

There is a lot to do here, so we give you a free hand when and where you want to eat. You can eat on the slopes between the two slopes, take a packed lunch on a mountain hike, try local delicacies in pubs in downtown Mallnitz or cook something at home.

Breakfast is an important issue for us. If you like breakfast in bed (as we do) let me know. We are happy to pamper you with a local breakfast basket (€ 10,50 per person) with crispy bread, egg, yoghurt with fruit and other toppings. Plus delicious orange juice.

In addition, in the evenings we like to organize feasts in our garden. Sometimes it's BBQ night, other times it's pizza. We also make a fire where you can bake bread, sausages or marshmallows. Feasts may extend to late hours of talks and games.

We are in the mountains, so there is no question of boredom! Each season has something to offer here. Summer invites you to the water, spring and fall are the best times for hiking and cycling, and in winter you know - snow madness.

On site you can rent bikes and go deeper, jump to the supermarket or bakery. Electric and mountain bikes are available in the center of the village.

- in winter: free ski bus, cross-country ski runs, toboggan runs and a nice restaurant Stockerhutte with local delicacies
- in summer: it is also worth going to the mountains

Mölltaler Glacier (20 minutes drive from Mallnitz)
- in winter: free ski bus, 100% snow guarantee, downhill runs
- in summer: brilliant views

Lienz (approx. 50 minutes)
- A nice town for every season.

Ragga schlucht (approx. 20 minutes)
- in summer (May - October): hiking with views of the falls

Heiligenblut / Grossglockner (approx. 55 minutes)
- The highest mountain in Austria with a characteristic town just below

Weissen Lake and Milstätter (both about an hour from Mallnitz)
- Perfect for a water holiday with kayaks, sails, SUPs, windsurfing or other boats. You can also relax on the shore, sunbathe and rest in the surrounding cafes and restaurants.

In the mountains, kids are not bored. And certainly not with us. The garden offers various games and activities, and there is also a playground with a trampoline and swings. And when the sun warms you can cool your feet in the stream. Not to mention the excursions and skiing :)
