The main character in this idyll is played by an old, post-German farm situated among the Dylewo Hills in Western Masuria. Mentally, we are closer to the agritourism of Mrs Grażynka - a housewife and Mr Józek - a farmer, than to luxurious ventures that are now trendy. We are like Grażynka and Józek but in the Internet age. Although Grażynka once designed interiors for people, and Józek can cook quite well and has an aesthetic sense for it, we are attracted to ordinariness, and our farm lives with the rhythm of animal breeding. You can meet hay transport and nobody will refuse you if you want to unload it with us. The hosts will get up during even the best feast to do the evening ritual and will gladly accept the offer of help with the morning cleaning of the stables. You will find a holiday "at your grandma's in the country" with us, but you won't have to eat 3 more of anything if you say you've already had enough.

We grow vegetables ourselves in the sweat of our brow, we bake the bread ourselves, we do the repairs ourselves, and we even teach the children ourselves. We like to be self-sufficient and we like to share the best of what we have. We treat our guests like old friends and we welcome all of them, whether we've known each other for 20 years or are just getting to know each other. We like it very much.

We also like to inhale the air that is undisturbed by civilization. We like to wander through our forest, where there are as many mysterious places as there are many species of rare birds. We like our forest gorges, swift rushes and gorges. We like the ubiquitous elk tracks and the dawn crane clangour. If you like it too, it's great. There will be enough for you.

We have prepared two comfortable rooms with the status of apartments, in the attic of our house. The attic is accessed by a separate entrance to the building, through the titular blue porch and steep, old stairs to the top. Because we always give our guests the best we have, the rooms turned out to be a bit luxurious for a country cottage, but cozy.

Between the rooms there is a shared kitchenette and dining area, as well as something to read and a few games. Our rooms work well rented as a duo, for two familiar families, but if you want to rent one, you have a great chance to meet cool neighbors :).

In the warm season, you have a barn at your disposal, where you can chill, play board games or the guitar, exercise, hide from the rain or the heat. It also serves as a cinema room for playing your streaming videos. In addition, we also have a summer kitchen with a recreational area, which on summer Saturdays turns into an intimate bistro, also open to guests from outside, where Marek serves regional specialties from what we have grown in the garden.

What you will definitely not run out of here is bread. We have converted an old henhouse into a Bread House, where the Host bakes the most outstanding breads in the region and sells them locally here and there, and of course he always has a supply under the counter. Marek really knows his way around all kinds of gastronomy, and cooking with us was like taking notes in college. You take notes because you don't like learning from other people's books, and then you don't know when - you make notes for your whole year.

Every day you can count on breakfast prepared by Marek, except for baking day, usually one day a week, when the Host has been making bread since dawn, but then we will offer you a basket of local products to prepare yourself. Marek will also prepare an experience called dinner for you, if at least 4 adults gather for it.

If you prefer to cook yourself, in the warm months it will be a real pleasure in our summer kitchen. We have a brick grill here and even a wood-burning oven. Sometimes we gather in a cheerful crowd and everyone prepares their own specialty, and then a spontaneous feast is created and we sit as equals, and then we clean up together and feel like one big family. The exception are summer Saturdays, when Marek takes over the summer kitchen and hosts all the tired travelers with local specialties, try it too!

If you want, we have the conditions for it. Not the best GSM coverage, an old orchard where microlife takes place and a mesmerizing view of horses. You can soak your feet in an icy stream, stare at birds in the orchard, swing in the clouds or sit on a hammock under an apple tree. You can do anything if you want. For those who like to do something, preferably something useful, there is always something to do in the garden or with horses. If you like to have a more attractive time, we have a SPA zone in Krzoki, which will be gradually developed. At this moment, we invite you to a dry barrel sauna.

If, like us, you like to spend your holidays actively, we have a few suggestions:

- saddle walks, both for riders and those who have never tried it before (if the horses' condition currently allows it)
- therapeutic meetings with horses - led by the hostess
- non-obvious walks in our forest, which you have to explore cross-country and you can come across post-war ruins or a medieval stronghold, an elk or a black stork, and certainly streams and ravines up to thirty meters long.
- bicycle trips, especially to the Wzgórza Dylewskie Landscape Park located a stone's throw away, to which there is also a bicycle trail leading from us. You can also go to the fields of the Battle of Grunwald and see some cool monuments along the way, or to Olsztynek for handmade ice cream. We can provide you with our bikes or store yours indoors.
- rafting on the Marózka River.

Western Masuria is also famous for:
- navigation through the Ostróda-Elbląg Canal, leading through unique ramps and a system of locks.
- the pearl of Western Masuria - Ostróda, which is worth visiting, not only during the Regee Festival. In summer, you can, for example, go water skiing on a special ski lift in the city center.
- the battlefields of Grunwald, where, apart from the famous reconstruction of the battle of 1410, the European Horse Archery Championships held on May Day as well as the modern Museum of the Battle of Grunwald are more worth visiting,
- hiking and cycling trails in the Dylewskie Hills Landscape Park with an observation tower on the highest hill in northern Poland - Dylewska Góra (312 m above sea level),
- one of the largest open-air museums in Olsztynek, which organizes several large events throughout the year in a regional and ecological atmosphere, including handicraft fairs,
- glassworks in Olsztynek, where you can see the production and buy some cool trinkets,
- Iława Lake District Landscape Park.

For children, we have holidays like at grandma's. The guide in creative games is our eleven-year-old daughter, Mariola, who will encourage brave school-age children to jump on the hay and show them how to build a dam on our stream or a hut in our young forest. We have a mini playground with a slide, 2 swings and a ladder, but the best ones are a swing on an old apple tree and a platform on a spreading linden tree for playing in the treetop.

Experience has shown us that our home is not adapted to every age of children. In the autumn and winter, when the weather does not allow long-term enjoyment of the charms of nature, and the barn does not work well as a common room due to the temperature, preschool children and younger children do not have much place to discharge their natural excess energy by running right above our heads, as indicated by the wooden ceiling. During this period, we invite older children who can take care of themselves on a more stationary basis.
