In the west of Warmia, no changes. The area is still so beautiful, "as if Michelangelo himself was tearing it with a chisel". We have here to the horizon: fields of cereals, pastures, meadows full of dandelions, good and strong cider that hits your head just like the local fresh air. Supposedly, we know everything about Warmia, but we still discover unusual and non-obvious places. Such as Nowe Kawkowo, which has become a mecca for artists, craftsmen and gardening enthusiasts.
And we invite you more specifically, to Moniówka, for the most pradziwsza reset and total relaxation in the company of adults only (you will only find bubbles in a glass). Our village is not only a unique place, but also an inspiring space. When you go for a walk around the area, you can see a stronger representation of lavender in Poland, take part in ceramic workshops or learn how to make natural cosmetics. And we will feed you as deliciously as we can, we will heat the sauna to red and we will look for you at the end of the road. We are waiting!
Moniówka comfortably accommodates 12 people. We have 5 rooms at your disposal:
- a triple room with a double bed and a single bed. There is a bathroom in the room
- a triple room with a double bed, a single bed and a shared bathroom,
- a double room with a double bed and a bathroom in the room,
- a double room with a double bed and a shared bathroom,
- a double room with two single beds (can be joined together) and a shared bathroom.
We also invite you to the living room with a fireplace, kitchen and garden, where everyone will find a place to relax. Speaking of relaxation, we also have a Finnish sauna and massages. We have good range and wifi - you can easily connect to the world from us.
If you want to come with a larger group, you can rent the whole house in a package with full board.
Four dogs live in Moniówka: Kahlo (female) Lennon (male) Blu (male) Skratchet (male) and to get to know the dogs, we first go for a walk in a neutral area, so that when entering the house with dogs for the first time, our dogs will treat you like guests.
We also have 4 cats and a strict rule that dogs do not chase cats - if your dog is capable of this, leave him at home.
Attention sensitive to smells and sounds, in the meadow you can find cow poop, in the morning instead of an alarm clock we have dances of cranes in the meadow, a rooster walking like clockwork, concerts of larks and creaking doors - we are in the countryside and we will not hide it. And besides, dark nights with the truest stars, the hoot of owls and the clatter of storks. For us, this is the most beautiful music - we hope it will be the same for you.
Welcome to the table!
In Moniówka, food plays the leading role and we are crazy about it. We cook healthy, tasty (so we heard!), using local products and seasonally. We will feed you all day long, because we prepare breakfasts and dinners. We are not afraid of any diets or vegetarian cuisine. You will definitely eat our vegetables, local goat cheese, fresh bread and farm eggs.
We regularly organize culinary workshops and the kitchen is ruled by restaurant chefs, food bloggers and taste authorities. Dominika Wójciak, Ewa Pe, Małgorzata Minta and Jakub Kuroń come to visit us - we really like to eat well!
For individual guests, we provide the entire kitchen, where you can have absolute control.
We will also give you directions for gifts from the countryside (baked bread, goat and cow cheese and farm eggs), which can be purchased from our neighbors. We have wonderful cheese makers nearby: we get goat cheese with fenugreek, black cumin and delicious smoked cheese from Julita, Thorsten supplies us with long-ripened cheeses from Jersey cows, and Iza has cottage cheese and rennet cheese. We literally have eggs from behind the fence, but not from just anyone, because from the village head.
In Moniówka, we are proud of our garden, which determines our menu according to the seasons. We encourage you to take advantage of its benefits. The tastiest scrambled eggs are those with fresh chives, which you can eat barefoot in the morning!

You don't really need to go anywhere to rest - you can go to the garden and lie down with a cup of coffee, a book or an upcoming nap. For complete relaxation, we invite you to the Finnish sauna or a Thai massage session (tell us in advance). The area encourages unhurried walks, relaxation and contact with nature. If you tread extremely quietly, there is a good chance that you will see deer, foxes and hares. We can also boast the largest lavender field in Poland.
In Warmia, we have an abundance of lakes - both large and small. A sensational way to discover the less known ones are bicycle tours, so it's worth taking two wheels with you. Nature lovers will be happy to visit the surrounding nature reserves: "Ostoja beobra" on the Pasłęka River and Lake Isąg, "Wyspa Lipowa" on Lake Marąg (a landscape reserve covered with old small-leaved limes, colony of cormorants and gray herons) and the "Taborska Pine" reserve, where 250-year-old pines are growing, formerly used to build masts on sailing ships all over Europe. In the area there is the Living Lavender Museum, with lavender gardens with aromatherapy benches, film screenings, you can eat a little something and buy lavender water, honey, bunches, creams.
For sportsmen: in Rentyy and at the Mazuria hotel you can rent water equipment, and 30 km from us in Kartasiówka there is a ski slope. In the vicinity there is also the Cegielnia ART - a ceramic workshop where you can make something and burn it during a short workshop. And in July, a theater festival takes place in the neighboring village of Węgajty. During it, you can see alternative theaters, performances, performances, workshops, meetings with people of culture, directors, filmmakers and travelers, as well as have a snack and dance to live music. History enthusiasts will probably choose to reconstruct the Napoleonic battle at Jonkowo.
