My Biebrza

You will live at the end of a dirt road (2 km), so in summer the cars will get dust, in autumn it will be muddy and in winter it can snow up to your knees. We try to live in harmony with nature, be sensitive to the environment and not get in the way of it. When you come to us, you stay in line with our rules, but it's not difficult. The only electricity we use comes from photovoltaics, which means that we do not have TVs, air conditioning and a dishwasher, and each room is heated with a heating goat. The house you will sleep in used to be a pigsty, but now it is a comfortable, field house. We have created two studios with independent entrance for: - 4 people, - 4 people. The smaller studio consists of a living room with a kitchenette and a sofa bed, a bathroom with a shower on the ground floor and a mezzanine with a double bed. The larger studio has the same layout, except that there are 4 beds on the mezzanine. If you take children with you, keep in mind that there are stairs leading to the mezzanine.

We give you kitchenettes, but if you need something more, we recommend: - Oberża nad Biebrzą in Goniądz (5 km) - here you can eat deliciously and diversely. From burgers, to salmon in cream, to kartacze full of meat. - shop in Goniądz (5 km) - Bartla's Manor House in Goniądz (approx. 4 km) - a place where each chair is different and each dish is just as delicious. Cabbage soup, pelmeni, fish soup, delicious kvass and a leg of deer. Come here if you don't mind the hunting decor. - Dwór Dobarz on the tsarist road (approx. 25 km) - the menu includes classic Polish cuisine, potato cake, broth, Russian soup, sour rye soup and blueberry dumplings, and regional beer. You can order bread, milk and cheese from us. Everything is home made with heart.

A stay in the vicinity of the Biebrza National Park is mainly hiking, cycling and canoeing on the Biebrza River. Take your binoculars, there's a lot to watch. Perhaps you will be able to catch the eyes of the Greater Spotted Eagle, Magpie, Cranes, Buzzards or Rattles. We will be happy to tell you about everything and show you where to go. But if we were to prepare 5 points that should be taken into account when planning a trip to our site, it would be: 1. Meeting with the Biebrza Witch Agnieszka Zach is a guide around Biebrza and Podlasie and a herbalist. If you want to explore the surroundings, it is definitely with her (tel. 515 794 252). 2. Diving in Biebrza The Biebrza Underwater Trail starting in Goniądz consists of 4 routes. Only the first one, approx. 1.8 km long, is available to anyone who buys an admission ticket. The other three require a guide and permission. All you need is ordinary ABC diving (mask, snorkel, tube). 3. The Tsar's Way It leads through the reserve and is a 35-kilometer route in the middle of the Biebrza wetlands. You don't even need to get out of the car, although we highly recommend it. The road is called Łosiostrada, because elk often come out on the road and you have to keep the speed limit. 5. Green Velo It is now leading through the Tsar's Route and is well prepared. There are shelters and footbridges that allow you to see the Biebrza nature up close. It is worth finding out when (and if) Biebrza Haying, i.e. the Championship in Mowing the Biebrza Meadows, takes place.
