Anyone who's tired of the city noise, smog and traffic jams, not only during rush hours, will surely be pleased to hear that an hour from Warsaw there is a wonderful agritourism farm hidden among the fields. Under the Spądoszyński sky, you will find Osiedlisko nad Soną, where the story "The Children of Bullerbyn Village" could take place, but instead, Dominik leads a quiet life here baking wonderful buns, bread and croissants, Jola captures the gifts of nature in jars and Helenka, who cuddles every puppy wandering around and jumps into every puddle. In addition, there is a whole group of cats and dogs waiting for you, four rooms for up to 12 people, tomatoes "straight from the garden", peace and quiet and a house on the prairie with a view of the fields.
In the spring, when the water flows from the banks of the riverbed, Osiedlisko turns into Dom nad Rozlewowisko, and Sona changes from a neat river into a sumo player, competing in the highest weight category. In the summer, the area smells of harvest and of straw drying in the sun. In the winter, sledges are the main means of transport, cabbage ferments in the pot, and the jars of ajvar are moving. You can do whatever you want here, you can also indulge in blissful doing nothing. We would like to share this simple life with you without rush and competition. We are there and waiting, welcome.
In a house made according to the principles of natural construction (clay and lime plasters, natural insulation materials, demolition brick and tile, field stone), where 16 people will find space in five rooms. Each room has a bathroom with shower. Furniture that you will find in Osiedlisko got a second life from us. In the bathrooms, the floors are made of demolition plain tiles, the washbasins are made of flower pots, the sinks are made of the steps of the demolition stairs, and the table and benches in the dining room are made of beams from our old truss. We try to live less waste and less commercially, if you are also into it, you will feel at home with us.
On the ground floor you will find a common space - a kitchen with a dining room. We have arranged it in a rustic style, perfectly matching the surroundings of fields and meadows. There was no shortage of wood, bright colors, bouquets of wild flowers, a swing-hammock, which is perfect for reading books and overlooking the yard. There is also a kids' corner with games, toys and a drawing table. The common space is annexed to laze around, play board games and drink coffee on rainy days.
We help you stop time, so you will not find TV sets, but cows often walk outside the windows, so you can count on natural Animal Planet.
Pets are of course welcome. We do have dogs, our shouters - but we can always isolate them if it gets really loud. Cats go their own ways or occupy sofas and radiators. In any case, they do not bother other household members.
We will feed you with goodies from our own pantry: bread baked by us, homemade preserves, tomatoes from the garden with a taste long forgotten by townspeople, eggs from really happy chanterelles and our culinary experiments that we love to share. We celebrate breakfast in a proper way, we like to extend the mornings endlessly. We serve it seasonally, healthy, colorful and social. In winter, you can expect tea from the linden harvested in summer, warm and crispy homemade bread all year round, which of course tastes best with fresh butter. Millet pancaces with nuts and plums from the garden, fresh strawberries straight from the bed, blackberries, home-made ajwar, pancakes, dumplings stuffed with millet and cottage cheese can land on the table. Everything for what we have at the moment, and in the kitchen we feel like fish in water.
There is also a shared kitchen at your disposal, which allows you to prepare meals, snacking while lazy and prepare candlelight dinners. In summer, there will also be long evenings by the fire and fresh fruit eaten on the terrace.
In the area, we recommend delicious, fresh ice cream made on site from the Kanka Ice Cream Shop. For them, it is worth turning from the "seven" to Płońsk, traveling somewhere north or back. In addition to great ice cream, in winter you will try waffles on a stick, hot chocolate and cream tubes. It is worth sinning for them.
The estate is used to rest from the city, breathe fresh air, observe animals in the wild, exercise yoga outdoors, eat fruit and vegetables straight from the bush and walk where they will lift their legs. In the fall, we love to go to the nearby forest for mushrooms. A quick breakfast and we plunge into the fog, sailing towards the forest. It smells of fallen leaves, mushrooms, moss, resin and some such unnamed magic. Of course, we hope you will want to join the mushroom picking. Because regardless of whether we come back with baskets full of mushrooms, or only with a few specimens, just to the sauce for dinner, it always brings us joy, and blissful peace hums in our head. In the evenings we like to stare at the fire of the fire, go towards the setting sun and walk along the Sonya.
We also encourage you to apply applied bouquet, just go outside the house, bend down to the grass and conjure up the most beautiful field bouquet under the sun.
In the immediate vicinity you can use:
- horse riding.
- The New Town lagoon with a sandy beach in the New Town with water attractions and a great place for fishing.
- The Wkra River, where you can take advantage of year-round canoeing trips. For many years it has been said that you can only paddle in summer and ski in winter. We convince you that you can also go kayaking in autumn, winter and spring.
- Rest in numerous corners of our over half a hectare garden.
- Cycling in the beautiful neighborhood.
What’s there for children?
Children have carefree freedom, and after rain they take off their shoes and jump into puddles. They are accompanied by a large dairy audience in the form of the neighbor's cows. They walk with cats between flower beds, watch puppies and make bouquets of wild flowers. They eat blackberries straight from the bush and cut tomatoes like apples - whole! In the rain, they play board games, play at home in the play corner, draw surrounding landscapes and wait for the rainbow. They look for a treasure at the other end of the river, help to prepare a bonfire, and in the evening they fall asleep with dirty feet from an excess of emotions. After all, a dirty child is a happy child.
