Pasieczniki Małe have nothing to hide. They are a tiny dot on the map, in the green company of forests and the Białowieża Primeval Forest. To get here, you have to raise clouds of dust into the air, because the path leading to the estate has never seen asphalt. Pasieczniki begins where the forest ends. A village where beekeepers lived, i.e. those involved in the supervision and care of apiaries, breeding bees and delivering honey and wax to the lord's court or to the city. Now there are no hives, but there are 15 houses, including the oldest one, ours.
Before we bought a cabin in Podlasie, we lived in Iceland for several months. It was there that we met with the idea of sumarhús, or employee-owned holiday homes for which the landlords are jointly responsible, which, when leaving, should be left in the state they found them in. We liked the Icelandic philosophy of exclusive-use homes so much that we decided to transfer it to our native soil, and this is how our sumarhús was created, which we and you care for.
Everything that we lacked in city life is here. The proximity of the forest, wildness, friendly neighbours, peace. In September, you can hear the most beautiful deer concerts here, and from autumn to spring, it is easier to meet a bison on a walk than other people. On a warm August night, you can sit in a hot tub admiring the Milky Way, although we prefer to soak in it on frosty, snowy evenings. Then hop over to the fireplace with a book, a hammock on the porch, and tea in the kitchen. You can eat tomatoes from the garden, order dumplings and potato pancakes from your neighbour, see what is hidden behind the barn and go mushroom picking.
We renovated the house with our own hands, with the great help of our parents. The old sideboard is a memento of Łukasz's grandmother, the old sewing machine belonged to the previous owners of the house - tailors, and the kitchen countertop was made of boards found in the barn. We give you an important part of our life to rest. Make yourself at home here.

If you've ever heard a story about crazy love at first sight, just wait for ours. We met 3 years ago on a plane to Iceland. After a few minutes of conversation, we knew that it would not be an ordinary acquaintance, and three months later we tied the note. You probably think that this is a crazy idea, and we only saw each other 10 days before the wedding, because in the meantime I was visiting Iran, and my not-yet-husband was in Thailand. Everything worked out, and our crazy idea was the best decision ever. We spent the first months of marriage in Iceland, where we spent practically every free moment exploring the island and enjoying the hot springs. For private reasons, we decided to return to Poland, we built our lives here, we returned to our full-time jobs. However, we cannot sit still and, as we have already proved, we are spontaneous. We lacked freedom, we were looking for an idea where to invest our savings and our free time. When I got pregnant, we weren't able to travel abroad, so we started visiting Poland. We landed in Podlasie. I have loved this region for a long time, and Łukasz quickly took over this love. Now we hope that our daughter will also take it over. We invite you to Pasieczniki, to the oldest house in the village, where we feel best. We hope you will fall in love too.
