At the end of a forest road that delights at any time of the year. In Pasieczniki Małe it is as intimate as you can imagine. 15 houses, including one ours, forest walls on each side, and there are mushrooms and silence that will allow you to fully relax from the noise and everyday matters. With a bit of luck, you will see bison here, and roe deer, deer and hares are regular visitors. Our house is separated from the country road by a wooden fence. Behind it, the oldest house in the village proudly presents itself. One with a beautiful porch, made of solid tubs, with a white tiled stove and wooden floors that creak from time to time. We renovated the house with full respect for the past. There is even an old sewing machine here, a remnant of the original owners of the house - tailors. The cottage for 7 people has three bedrooms, one with a single bed, one with a double bed and a large room with two fold-out sofa beds. Although the most desirable place to sleep is the zapiecek. It's warmest and most homely here. There is a brand new bathroom with a shower, a kitchen with a tiled stove, a porch with a place to rest, and a tub with hot water behind the house, a beautiful garden with farmhouse tomatoes, a swing, and views of fields and forests behind the barn. You can visit us with your pet!

The cottage has a kitchen equipped with a two-burner gas stove, a set of pots, a coffee maker, a toaster and a few other items necessary to prepare family meals. You can light a tiled stove and, like in the good old days, cook something on the hob. You can light a fire in the garden, bake apples and potatoes, fry a sausage on a stick and enjoy the air as clean as a tear. Don't feel like cooking dinner? It doesn't matter, we will be happy to give you the contact of a friendly hostess, from whom you can order delicious dumplings and regional cuisine. If you want to go to a restaurant, 4 km from the cottage there is "Zajazd u Jana" in Dubicze Cerkiewne, where you will find different delicacies of regional cuisine and craft beer from the Markowe brewery every day. Here you can find mushroom soup, marinated bacon, maczanka, hryczuny, solyanka, cabbage with horseradish, wereszaki, potato dumplings with groats, sausage dumplings, and pelmeni. Like Podlasie and Belarusian cuisine, it's here. In Hajnówka, we recommend visiting Leśny Zakątek and Babushka Bistro, which offers regional dishes at affordable prices. If you are going towards Bielsk Podlaski, we recommend you to deviate from the road to Kuchnia Dobromil. It's really worth making up for kilometers here, because the kitchen is ruled by enthusiasts, charming outstanding potato cake, delicious solianka, the most beautiful change pancakes, sour soup that is heaven in the mouth, dumplings with nettle and homemade pastries - delicious bread, rolls, buns, cakes. It is extremely tasty!

Pasieczniki Małe is a breath-taking village and this is the best information of all. Nothing at all happens here. There are no festivities, festivals, shops, cinemas, cultural centres. This is a place created for reading books on a tiled stove and playing board games on the carpet. You can talk to your neighbor over the fence, cook broth on the farm hen, meditate on the porch, go for a walk in the forest. At dawn you can admire a herd of deer in the meadows behind the house, and in autumn you can listen to the roaring, like in an intimate concert for several voices. With a bit of luck, you'll be able to see bison approaching the edge of the village - it's a sight to behold! In the garden near the barn, you can immerse yourself in a Russian banya all year round, with cool water in the summer and hot water in the winter. There is also a wooden swing to contemplate the silence and a large yard where you can practice yoga. Neighbors will enjoy ;) Not far from the cottage there is the Bachmaty Reservoir, where you can relax at the grill, swim on water bikes and even try your hand at SUP. During Wakacje nad Zalewem, cyclical events take place, the most famous of which is Kupala Night. This is a unique event during which bonfires are lit and girls in folk costumes throw wreaths on the water. You must see this. Pasieczniki is also an ideal base for visiting places such as Topiło, Białowieża Forest, Hajnówka, Świąt Góra Grabarka or the Narrow-Gauge Railway. In Hajnówka, which is about 15 minutes away by car, the Bison Fair takes place. Local food and handicraft market, combined with the presentation of folk culture. It's also worth visiting there. In the vicinity you will find a lot of wonderful, colorful Orthodox churches. Unfortunately, they are usually closed, but just looking at them from the perspective of the church square is impressive. We can recommend, among others: 1) the blue Orthodox Church of the Exaltation of the Lord's Cross in Werstok - you can reach it on foot through the forest 2) the blue Orthodox Church of the Protection of the Mother of God in Dubicze Cerkiewne - approx. 6 km from Pasieczniki 3) the blue Church of St. Michael the Archangel in Stary Kornin - approx. 12 km
