In search of an unusual guest house, we came to Tylicz. To locals, it is considered a cold spot, to tourists as a dynamic family skiing centre, and to us, it’s as a perfect place to live. This is where we fulfilled the dream of building houses from the future. You can pass by them without even noticing that on the slope of the hill, in the vicinity of multi-story, multi-generational houses, there are two houses with grass-covered roofs. They are secretive, though spectacular and bold upon closer observation. Mostly sunk in the ground, they disappear, embedded in the surrounding landscape. They have designer interiors that will please minimalists and a look at the landscape part of Tylicz.
They stand together, although only one of the houses is waiting for guests who are seeking peace. Four people can comfortably live in the modernist dugout, but 7 can also fit in there. The concrete corridors lead to a pink bathroom, a bedroom with a view of the undulating terrain, a kitchen connected to the dining room and a living room with a fireplace. On the observation deck, you can drink coffee at sunrise, listen to the silence and give in to pleasant laziness.
If we were to say in one sentence what Tylicz is associated with, it would be peace, no rush, autumn morning fogs and cross-country skiing in winter. We invite you to a place where you relax by being close to nature. Here, nature enters the house and we welcome it with open arms.
In an unusual house of the future, on a slope, with an uninterrupted view of the undulating greenery. The modernist bungalow is mostly embedded in the terrain, integrated into the landscape and practically invisible from the road. All this makes the house extremely intimate, pleasant and quiet. Here nature enters the house by itself and no one is going to chase her away. The panoramic windows of all rooms offer a soothing view of the greenery and the mountains. In winter it is white and icy because Tylicz is considered to be the local cold pole, and a snow shovel is the best friend.
The exterior is modern, so it couldn't be otherwise with the interior. It is bright and the combination of wood, concrete and glass creates a minimalist base for accessories. Colorful furniture, patterned fabrics, posters by Polish illustrators and furniture made by Ania herself.
At your disposal is the whole house, designed for a maximum of 7 people.
There are:
- two spacious bedrooms: one with a double bed, the other with two single beds (including one that can be converted into a full-fledged double),
- a fully equipped kitchenette with a dishwasher, oven, refrigerator and all necessary appliances,
- a living space with a fireplace - a goat, a fold-out sofa, an armchair and a large dining table,
- a pink, designer bathroom with a shower,
- a toilet,
- laundry,
- storage space for skis, trolleys, suitcases.
What you eat depends on you. We can assure you that with such a view, everything tastes first-class. Together with the house, we give you a fully equipped kitchen. You will find a fridge, dishwasher, oven, hob and all the accessories you need for cooking: electric kettle, pots, tableware, glassware and small accessories, drip coffee maker, water filter - for all those who want to eliminate buying water in plastic bottles.
Additionally, there are basic things such as: dishwashing liquid, sponge, cloth, salt, pepper, tea and coffee.
On the market square in Tylicz, about 1.5 km away from Proste Chwile, there are three grocery stores open until 20-21.
If you don't feel like getting up in the morning, we can deliver a delicious breakfast to you in the form of breakfast boxes.
You can also order a three-course dinner (soup, main course, dessert).
On site, we will tell you where to buy local cheeses, eggs and vegetables. We know such addresses.
There are four restaurants in our village.
While walking along the promenade in neighboring Krynica-Zdrój, you can take advantage of the year-round catering facilities.
- "Cichy Kącik" Inn,
- "Dwóch Świętych" Restaurant,
- Krynicki "Złoty Róg",
- "Kłyniec - Karczma Łemkowska",
- "Restauracja Koncertowa" .
If we were to say what we associate Tylicz with, it would be peace, lack of rush, autumn morning mists. Rainy days without guilt with a book in hand. Unhurried time together and the most beautiful mornings in the glade. Captivating colors, silence, a captivating start to the day.
We have created a place for cleansing boredom without guilt. For long conversations, reading and lounging. For those who are bursting with energy, in the immediate vicinity there are plenty of mountain hiking and cycling trails, ski lifts (three in Tylicz alone, also Jaworzyna and Słotwiny), and cross-country trails.
We have our own electric bike rental on site with a special price offer for our guests.
In the summer, we walk, lie on the green grass, enjoy boredom and travel around the area on bicycles. In winter, of course, it is a dynamic family skiing center, and the surrounding hills are ideal as toboggan runs.
In Tylicz you can also go horse riding at the "Lama" Farm, drink sorrel (healing water) straight from the spring, and go to the forest to pick mushrooms in autumn. There are beautiful areas of the Low Beskid Mountains nearby.
Krynica-Zdrój is a 5-minute drive away, and Bardejov in Slovakia is only 25 minutes away by car.
What’s there for children?
