Saunowisko w Kępie (Sauna in Kępa) (not to be confused with our second magical sauna in Krąg, 40 km away) is a forest corner in Western Pomerania full of birds chirping. The wooden house is called Ptasi Dom (Bird House) for a reason. For expert and amateur ornithologists, it is not just some Krąg, but a bird's Eldorado. There is a nest of the Bee-eater, Kingfisher, Hummingbird, Rooster, Swallow and a few other chattering species. Plus, of course, the smell of spruce wood and deciduous twigs of birch, red oak and willow. Unique winged murals by the local artist Cukin. Colorful nesting boxes and bird origami. And practising mindfulness: burying in soft mandala cushions, watching the flames dance and listening to the fire roaring in the chimney.

Everything else is colorful impressions: a hammock in the middle of the living room. Yoga in the garden. Mezzanine meditations. Sleeping on comfortable mattresses. Breakfasts overlooking the trees at the big table. There is also the House of Steam: a sauna-Russian bathtub, filled with illuminated logs and salt. You can go out to the ice-cold pool, feel how the icy needles dig into your hot body. Do you know what that feels like? We keep an eye on all the senses here, so there are sauna playlists, deckchairs in a garland-lit forest, an orchard full of fruit trees and raspberry bushes of Grandma Marylka. You can sit in a barrel until the morning, watching the stars fall and watching the world come to life. And we do it not only in the summer - the jacuzzi barrel is heated, and the sauna works even when the world is frozen.

When you leave the gate and turn right, you will reach the Black Mud Lake (1000m) with healing water and amazing sunsets. 30 minutes and a car is enough to get from the beach by the lake to the sandy beaches by the sea.

Come for a great steamy sauna with a window to the forest and forest pond and orchard, a hot bath barrel with a jacuzzi under the stars and a unique 200-meter magical log house with a warm interior.

The Bird House is a comfortable nest with two bedrooms on the ground floor (one bedroom with a double bed and the other bedroom with a single and a double bed), a bedroom upstairs (double bed) and a large mezzanine (double bed and possibly space for additional mattresses).

A cozy living room with a fireplace serves as a place to relax. This is where you spend the most time (right after the sauna). It's hyper spacious. You can lie on sofas, immerse yourself in armchairs, relax in a swing hanging from the ceiling. There are colorful birds on the walls, works of local artists, and a unique balustrade of the mezzanine. Here every corner lives its own life. There is no boredom, no minimalism. There are colorful feathers, the bustle of conversations, the silence of a nap. In case of need, e.g. a super-important match of the national team, there is a TV in the living room, and decent music equipment to ease the morals. As if that wasn't enough, there are plenty of cushions to sit on the floor and an exit to the covered terrace, where you can lie on sun loungers.

The living room is open to a large kitchen with dining area. This is where breakfast, lunch and dinner take place. This is where coffee is brewed, people talk about life, snacks and tastes.

There is a bathroom with a bathtub under the kingfisher, where nothing is missing and of course our sauna facilities. The Couple's House is our temple and asylum - a bit of a dry Finnish sauna, a bit of a Russian banya, and basically our Slavic bathhouse. Here you lie, taking a treatment with hot steam, twigs and aroma therapy. Then splash ice water over your body and jump into the tub of hot water.

Ptasi Dom has a large, equipped kitchen where you can cook. There are smaller and larger shops in the nearby towns, and in Koszalin also various types of restaurants and bars. It's also nice to go to the fishing port in Mielno-Unieście for a fish freshly caught from the sea.

In Saunowisko you can afford a real rest. We create ideal conditions for deep - not only - sauna relaxation, watching the stars while sitting in a barrel, lying belly up, reading, meditation, rides and walks in the woods, watching the sunset over the lake.

Spending time in a wooden house is an attraction in itself, but if you want to stick your nose out of the nest, there are forests and villages around, the White and Amber Palaces, and beaches of the Baltic Sea where you can walk endlessly!

Bird House is located in a small village. Far from the city. You will be alone in the whole area, having it all to yourself.


Attention! Our neighbors and birds like silence.

Inside the house you can play as much as you want, but outside (on the terrace and in front of the sauna) you can't make noise after 9 pm. Ptasi Dom is a place of quiet rest, so for those who like loud all-night conversations in a barrel and listening to music, we recommend our other facility - Sauna Resort in Krąg, which is located in a completely remote area.

Contrary to popular belief, the sauna is for children and it is worth introducing children to it from an early age :) We know that the best thing to do is to flop in the water and run around, play hide and seek and play caps. You can learn all this in our backyard, and a little further, in Cewlin and Niekłonnice, you can learn horse riding, and in Koników on the motocross track, you can learn mechanical horses.

Ah, at home we have a magic chest of drawers with coloring books and other magical treasures!

In the Bird's House it is best to forget about work and the whole world! But if you want to work remotely, it's possible. We have constant internet and video calls work, but we are at the end of the world, so what comes here is the Orange service at the basic speed (10mbit).
