There used to be an important trade route to the sea, weddings were held on Mondays, and roadside shrines were so numerous that no one even tried to count them. There has been some of this holiness for a long time, which is why we have established an estate of peace in this place, in the south of Warmia, in the commune of Gietrzwałd.
The recipe for relaxation is uncomplicated. Ponds, fish, three spacious apartments with a private terrace. Good climate for families and friends, best for pets. Nothing for summer, soothing autumn, intriguing in winter. In the apartment DĘBOWY "piu belle cose", which loosely translated means a warm goat.
We go according to the recipe, and then spontaneously: when we wake up, we put on a bathrobe, run to the bridge and drink hot coffee. Later, by bike through the rape fields, to the hot soup and fried perch, to the beach on our way back, and in the evening to discuss human existence over a glass or two. That's us, and you?
APARTMENTS_ There are 3 independent, comfortable apartments at your disposal. We have divided our 300m2 T-shaped house into separate, eight-person segments. Each of them has: an independent entrance, is two-level (approx. 90m2), has 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms and a living room with a kitchenette. Each apartment has a private terrace with access to a soft lawn. You have your own barbecue and deckchairs at your disposal. The terraces are located so that guests have their own, intimate space and do not get in each other's way. A few distinguishing features: * the Brzozowy apartment has a view of the birch grove, where the playground is located * the Pine apartment has an additional upper terrace that can be accessed from both bedrooms * the Dębowy apartment has the largest living room, a warm stove and no shared walls with neighbors. On our almost four hectares we have located 3_ HOUSES and 2 intimate segments in the BUNGALOW. The ŚWIERKOWY Cottage is the largest of our facilities (115m2, 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a large living room with a fireplace). The other two cottages (Bukowy and Lipowy) are smaller (even than apartments), they have 3 bedrooms, 1 bathroom and a toilet. BUNGALOW_WODNIK / SZUWAREK: was designed especially for couples. These two intimate and independent segments will make it possible for you to spend time together as a couple.
Our pride and joy are 3 large ponds where you can fish, sail a boat or a water bike or meditate on the pier. The entire area is fenced (mostly with forest netting), and people from outside do not have access to our property.
The price includes: accommodation, towels, bed linen, all utilities (water, electricity, garbage, heating), 2 days of wood for the fireplace (the rest is payable), - access to attractions on the property: ponds, boat, water bike, playgrounds, campfire shelter, bicycles (not new), parking, local fee, final cleaning.
We give you Rentynówka apartments and cottages for your own use and free use, the same goes for preparing meals. Kitchenettes are equipped with a two- or four-burner hob, dishwasher, fridge, microwave, cutlery, dishes, pots, so you have everything you need for holiday cooking. You can eat at home, on the pier or serve breakfast on the grass. Morning coffee and an evening glass of wine taste best on the terrace overlooking the ponds, and the immortal grill is recommended from spring to late autumn. For lovers of eco-food, it is possible to order homemade bread, country eggs or delicious cake.
However, if you prefer someone to feed you, we have solid suggestions from the Warmian cuisine: Karczma Warmińska with delicious food and a rich history. This atmospheric place is located only 3 km from Rentynówka. Here you can try regional dishes, e.g. dzyndzałki Warmińskie, and on holiday Fridays, meals are made more pleasant by performances by regional bands. Sielanka Restaurant is a place with an idyllic atmosphere. Idyllic decor and delicious food - just a few kilometers from us. Pizzeria "4 corners of the world" in the center of Gietrzwałd - delicious pizza (also with delivery to your door). Beach bar in Rentyna. Domus Mariae restaurant and cafe on the grounds of the Sanctuary in Gietrzwałd. Warmia is not only historic castles, churches that survived the German "Kulturkampf", but most of all the stunning nature that was shaped by the glacier that repeatedly rolled through these areas. Numerous lakes, ponds and rivers, green thickets of forests full of mushrooms and berries, hills, hills and mounds (also suitable for skiing) make us attracted to all those who want to calm down and soothe their nerves with green calamus, blue water and brick red the red of our shrines. You never know what awaits you behind the Warmian bend. For active people there are kayaks, boats, bicycles, and for those looking for silence, hammocks, relax on the pier and walks along forest paths.
Time in Rentynówka can also look like this: in the evening you play board games in the living room, and in the morning you meet for coffee in pajamas - on the terrace with a beautiful view of the great ponds. Someone gets up earlier to cast the fishing rod, and someone just comes back from forest jogging. Children play in the playground, and the morning coffee lasts until noon. On the slogan # Gietrzwałd (place of miracles), everyone jumps on their bikes to try the healing water from the spring. On the way back, you drive to the lake, and there are kayaks, boats and a bar. The castle in Lidzbark is called the "Wawel of the North", and the neighboring Hotel Krasicki in its amazing basement interiors serves excellent cuisine. It is worth going on the "Trail of Gothic Castles". The Elbląg Canal is one of the 7 wonders of Poland, located only 30 km from Rentynówka. Its construction cost 10% more than the Eiffel Tower. It is one of the 2 wonders of technology in the world (and the only working one) that allows you to transport ships over grass - over the height of 3 skyscrapers. You absolutely must catch a cruise on this miracle of technology. Hot summer is celebrated at Lake Ukiel. You can rent a motorboat, go crawl, build sandcastles and sit on the pier, staring at the water.
Children have a natural playground away from the ubiquitous plastic, and in a hammock they will be able to escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. Lake Giłwa is waiting a 15-minute walk with the pulley on the belt and the bucket in hand. There, the fun unfolds by itself, even in bad weather, children are not bored.
In Kudypy you will discover the fascinating world of plants. A visit to the arboretum with an amazing collection of trees, plants and shrubs characteristic not only of Warmia is an interesting way to spend the morning. If you want to play geologist, you will see what the glacier brought to our area. Apparently, contact with horses has a beneficial influence on the development of children, even the youngest, so we recommend a visit to the stud in Tomaszkowo (ul. Dorozda 32, Tomaszkowo, approx. 18 km).
Sunday afternoon in Rentynówka? Only in Warmińska and Masurian villages. You can come to the open-air museum in Olsztynek endlessly! The smell of over a hundred-year-old cottage, the rustle of leaves and history at your fingertips. This is what a perfect Sunday looks like. Children have the opportunity to see what life in the past was like, how the school was arranged, how the miller worked. All in the midst of picturesque views, walking animals, and in the season many interesting shows.
If you come to apartments, you don't have to worry about the internet or GSM coverage. The table on the terrace is perfect as a desk, and the view will make working a real pleasure. If you come to cottages or bungalows, the internet and telephone coverage is weaker due to the lower terrain right next to the forest. When we are on site, we provide space in the basement of the apartments for those who need a better connection.
