This is a leisure travel agency. Today we are taking you to the magical region of the Ślęża Landscape Park. Time to go towards the Ślęża mountain, also known as Sobótka. Maybe it’s not as spectacular as Kilimanjaro, but it is powerful and is 718 metres high. It cradles Old Slavic culture, and in the Bronze Age, it was considered quite unique – it was the centre of pagan sun worship.

Today, no secret rituals are performed here, but the mountain rests exquisitely. At the foot of Ślęza, deep in the orchards, you will find a place like from a dream – a wooden house surrounded by fruit trees. In the spring, the whole area smells like flowers. Apricots and peaches, plums and tart cherries bloom, then pears, and finally, sweet cherries and apples appear. The Japanese call this moment "Hanami". We also have our own word for it: “Ślężańskie”.

Among the orchards which go up to the horizon, you will find a house, and in it a living room with a kitchenette, a terrace the size of a football field with a view of the sunsets, and two small rooms upstairs.

We live here slowly and according to the orchard’s calendar. During the season, for several months, we do not leave the ladder and are stuck with our heads in the treetops. In the summer, we look with disbelief at the sight of overflowing boxes of apples, but this hard work is compensated by the aroma of childhood and apple pie coming out of the oven. In the autumn, we make preserves, and during breaks, we take walks around our Tuscany, burn bonfires and make sandwiches with Mirabelle. In the winter, we have almost alpine conditions. On the hill behind the house, kids are tobogganing and skiing, adults are cross-country skiing, and a bit further there are real slopes in the Owl Mountains. It is so beautiful! The whole orchard is white, the air is crisp and clean, and you can see Śnieżka even from the garden. White paths in the forests, and warmth in the cottage.

On the extensive grounds you will find the house where we live, along with an attic apartment, plenty of space, an orchard, a fireplace and a charming house with a terrace.

At your disposal are 2 bedrooms upstairs with 5 sleeping places, and downstairs there is a spacious 30-meter living room connected to the kitchen. The kitchen is equipped with an electric stove, kettle, coffee maker, sink, pots and a set of dishes. One bedroom has 2 single beds, the other has a double bed and a single bed. The bedrooms can sleep up to 5 people.

APARTMENT for 3 guests

The attic apartment consists of a living area connected to the kitchen and one bedroom with 3 single beds. In the living area there are 2 easily foldable double sofas that can comfortably accommodate 3 people. In the living area there is a toilet with a shower. The apartment has an independent entrance and its own terrace hidden among the trees.

We provide peace and quiet, fresh air, pleasant landscape and nature experiences, and attractive walking and cycling routes. Our plot is located on the southwestern slopes of Mount Ślęża, so the weather is sunny and rich on warm days. There is a shop and a playground for children 300 meters away. At the back of our plot there is a gate to the forest, where there are mountain trails to Ślęża, the Tąpada Pass or to Sobótka.

What's the point of being in nature when you can't enjoy eco-food? We have plenty of fruit in the Orchards. On nearby farms you can buy honey, eggs, milk and cheese from "happy" animals.

But from the beginning: the cherry and mirabelle jams we make are certified as a local product. We try to collect only the highest quality fruit, unsprayed. Old varieties of apple, plum and cherry trees, as well as mirabelle plums growing wild in the area, are very valuable and unique. Dried fruit is obtained through a slow drying process at a temperature no higher than 45 degrees Celsius, thanks to which organic fruit retains the vitamins and flavonoids that determine their value. Of course, you can buy orchard products on site.

Man does not live by fruits alone. The house has a fully equipped kitchen with a coffee maker, coffee or tea, but no dishwasher or oven. However, in the apartment you will find a kitchen with an oven.

Restaurant "Zielone Wzgórze" in Sulistrowiczki (approximately 5 km). You will find traditional Ślęża cuisine here. This is the return of curing, pickling, pickling, smoking, drying, baking on fire and in a bread oven. Terrace with a view of Ślęża, delicious smoked trout and Gabro cake.

Ślężański Młyn in Szczepanów - approx. 10 km. Very good Polish cuisine. Tongue soup, dumplings, sour rye soup, mushroom soup, broth with homemade noodles and regional alcohols.

Ślęża is a special place not only for us. Some say there is a portal here that leads to other dimensions. Many people come here to take advantage of the great power of this mountain. It just so happened that you will find us on its southwestern slope. In the buffer zone of the Ślężański Landscape Park, in a magical neighborhood. The Sleza Peak towers over the flat landscape of Lower Silesia and is visible from a distance, and just below it we and our orchards. It is called Lower Silesian Olympus for a reason - the mountain of gods. Centuries ago, it was a place of solar worship, and druids climbed it to bow down to the sun. Some say it has special power because it rests on quartz deposits that create special energy around it. We believe that good people and this unique microclimate are the strength of this region. People come here to meditate, cycle and ski, or just walk and enjoy the views. Choose your own way to relax.

It is enough to cross the gate to get to the trail to the top. On the way, go to the stream of St. James. There you will leave all bad emotions and soothe your nerves.

Here, behind the fence, also the routes to the Tąpadła Pass and Radunia begin. For cycling tourists, there are many quiet roads in the area connecting charming villages with many historical monuments. The nearest town of Sobótka and the surrounding villages - Sulistrowice, Będkowice or Tąpadła, as well as the beautiful Świdnica (15 km) with a unique wooden Church of Peace included in the UNESCO list, and the magical Wrocław (35 km) - the capital of Lower Silesia. For cyclists, we also recommend the local classic, i.e. the Championship Loop around Góra Ślęża. The Ślężański Half-Marathon runs on the same route every spring. In a word - the surrounding roads are so quiet that you can run or ride a bike on them without fear.

Also, treasure hunters can show off here. The surroundings are rich in minerals, granites and green serpentine. Enthusiasts can find deposits of iron, titanium and vanadium ores. In the past, magnesite, chromium and even gold were mined in the mines.

We also recommend a trip to the Emerald Lake, which is the closed, flooded Quarry Canteen. In winter, it is a place for sea, in summer it saves in heat, and its waters are willingly explored by divers.

We can compare ourselves to tomato soup because everyone likes us. The youngest, history enthusiasts, enthusiasts of road and mountain biking as well as hiking and biking.

Our plot is located within the borders of the Ślężański Landscape Park - in the immediate vicinity there are green areas, forests and meadows. On a hectare plot, a large part of which is at your disposal, you can play football, badminton or simply relax in silence. Local delicacies for breakfast, and in the evening a bonfire with a canopy of stars overhead.

We have a potato medal for helping to chase away boredom. The orchards are tested by our children and the verdict is one - the village is fun. You can run downhill, eat fruit straight from the trees, take a walk in the woods and find berries, rummage through the grain and rub your knees. Play soccer, take a picnic in the grass and come back with your green pants. Look for sticks for a fire in the forest, then bake sausages and make the most delicious apples from the fire. We have alpine conditions for sledges and skis, and the hill behind the house is only missing a lift. There are real slopes in the area, we will tell you where it is best with the kids.
