Sauersee

In an over 100-year-old house in Warmia, in an intimate and quiet forest, with access to the lake. Here only you, the orchard, water, breakfasts in the garden, shows with a swarm of stars and foxes sneaking in the morning. No neighbors guaranteed, the nearest buildings are over 200 m away. From the forest path you will go straight to the property - over 2,000 m2 of fenced plot and a dozen or so meters behind the fence - a pier. You park your car under the shelter and spend your free time at home, which has just got a new look. It has over 70 m2 of classic relaxation space, with the layout of an old cottage and tiled stoves. There is a living room with a fireplace, a piano, a sofa bed and a table with 4 chairs. There are deep colors and furnishings with history. A chest of drawers, a piano that has been in our home for over 70 years, a cross, old graphics. Wanting to maintain the atmosphere of the house, we decided to leave the kitchen in its place - in the central point of the house. By today's standards, it may not be very functional, but it is extremely cozy. In the color of emerald, sea green with brown, it makes a great impression. The original tiled kitchen with a stove has undergone a metamorphosis. Now it is a countertop for a modern gas stove, i.e. in the old style, but in the standard of modern convenience. There is also a dishwasher and a large fridge. In the house for up to 6 people you will find: - living room with fireplace and dining room + fold-out sofa (120x190) - kitchen (with dishwasher), - bathroom with bathtub. - master bedroom with a double bed 160 x 200 cm with a view of the lake, - smaller bedroom/office with a work space and two beds (140 x 200 cm and 80 x 200 cm) and a creative view of young oak trees outside the window. There is also a carport, no TV and forest internet, so it has its own specificity. You can work peacefully and watch TV series, but when a storm or other turbulence comes, you may be off the radar for a while. The house is most comfortable for a couple with a child/children or two couples without children. It can accommodate a maximum of 6 people. We ask our guests to respect this place and the surroundings, so do not plan noisy parties or noisy attractions in Sauersee. The house gives you a zone of silence and a place for contemplation.

Our guests receive an exclusive house from us. This means that we will not visit you with our field kitchen. There are so many interesting places for food tourism in the area that maybe it's good that we don't cook ;) It is possible to deliver to the cottage:  - "Kosza Warmińskiego" - selection of the best regional products: bread, cheese, fish, cold meats, preserves. A house in the middle of the Warmian outback and peace and quiet. This is not a place for seekers of eternal entertainment, it is a home for those who know how to organize their time. Read or write, play the piano, fish, run, do yoga. There are 4 lakes in the immediate vicinity, which can be reached on foot, by bike, or, ultimately, by car. We wanted to create a place where you can hide and leave your car (under a shelter) for a few happy days. From Lake Tumiany you can sail along several different routes, including: They write Warminska - straight to Barczewo. You can plan a shorter route, tailored to your strength and skills.  Kayaking route: Lake Dadaj – n. Dadaj – Klimkowo – Lake Tumiańskie – Tumiany – Lake Pisz -rz. Pisa – Barczewo – n. Pisa – Lake Wadąg – n. Wadąg You can choose one of the shorter routes: – Dadaj-Tumany 13km – Tumiany-Barczewo 11km – Tumiany- Zalesie- Tumiany 14km – Barczewo-Wadąg – Olsztyn 20km Nearby Jeziorany is the cultural center of Warmia. So if you want to start the engine or drive of your bike, go there.
