The rules at Lisia Nora are simple: put the phones aside, loosen the rubber and slow down the pace. Here, organic vegetables are grown, garbage is sorted and tries to live totally slow. There is and will not be wifi or TV, but there is a forest smell in the morning, bicycle trips and evening campfires, and dogs ... a lot of dogs.
Because Lisia Nora is a dog paradise where doggies sometimes feel better than at home. Besides our family, a lot of farm animals live here. Kogut Włodzimierz, a strong group of green-legged hens and our apple of the eye - a slender herd of Russian greyhounds, whose company is addictive.
You can sleep in an old renovated stable, which still has traces of horse's teeth and hooves, you can eat honestly and healthy with us, and over 4 hectares of Jurassic meadows in the Sokole Mountains buffer zone will provide you with an ideal place to relax and run your dogs. Here, you and your dogs can feel at ease and safe.
The habitat can accommodate 12 people. We have prepared for you a year-round, tiny house and three rooms arranged in a former stable. Regardless of the location of the bed, we guarantee that you will sleep well at all times.
We have arranged four cozy rooms in the former wooden stable building. There are traces of horse use on the door from its recent inhabitants. The rooms have access to a summer kitchen and shared bathrooms - also adapted from a horse stall. It smells of hay, a subtle reminder of horses, and at night you can only close the lower half of the door and enjoy being close to nature. We invite you to the stables only in the warm months.
The Borzoi room can accommodate 2 people, this room is dedicated to our greyhound children - you will find dog books, photos and diplomas of our greyhounds there. Here you will surely share our obsession with them.
The Herbalist's room is slightly larger and can sleep 3 people comfortably. We squeezed a tiny goat into it, which adds charm and coziness to the room. The room is full of books about herbs and herbalism.
Ask about the possibility of extra beds when booking, but we warn you that it will be crowded.
There is also a house in the habitat, the offer of which can be found here: https://slowhop.com/pl/miejsca/5261-lisia-nora-domek.html.
Sometimes you can hear off-road sounds, sometimes the howling of wolves at night, and almost every day the barking of dogs. There are flies and mosquitoes, but you can live with them. Note: you have to pick up dog poop!
We would like to point out that Siedlisko is a place mainly intended for guests with dogs and they have their privileges with us. People with allergies may have a problem as we do not have rooms where dogs are not allowed. Here dogs can do what they like - sniff, run, dig holes and play with each other. They can steal a bun carelessly left on the table and a fragrant sausage from the fire. They can jump with their feathered paws onto white shorts, sleep on beds and armchairs, leaving tons of fur behind.
Dear friends, from 2024 we are changing the operation profile of our kitchen. From this season, meals in jars will be available for self-heating. The taste will remain and so will the agate ideas. There is a summer kitchen available on site, so reheating a meal will not be a problem. It will be healthy, fresh and local - as it was.
For those who would not like to mess around, we will prepare a list of agritourisms and restaurants where you can eat or order delivery to the habitat.
You will certainly find our famous nettle cream with seeds in jars seasonally, and there will probably also be cakes and other delicacies.
On Wednesdays and Saturdays, Żareckie Fairs are held, where you can buy vegetables and fruits from farmers and browse through antiques.
Magic happens in Lisia, as the sun sets, the musicians take out their guitars, and the wreaths and topics of conversation talk about themselves. It doesn't happen here, but it's creative. We teach everything we know - how to make soaps, knit, embroider, weave. We also often organize workshops and training on dog topics. This summer, guests can invite us to a bonfire or arrange a walk with Paulina Ziółkowska (Talking Dogs), who knows dogs inside out. He will tell us about their behavior, tell us how to deal with bullies, or teach us dog language. Olga's hands hardly rest, ladies who knit certainly know Olga and her Instagram profile - OManufaktura. Olga will be happy to teach you how to knit, under her supervision you will make your first scarf with your own hands, and then you will lose yourself in the passion for knitting. Jadzia, a yogi, will invite you to an Ayurvedic massage, arrange a yoga session or a Vedic Art intuitive painting workshop with you. You will come back from these holidays definitely changed!
We have poor coverage, we do not have and will not have Wi-Fi or TV sets in the rooms, because we focus on real rest. It's supposed to be relaxation, dogs and other people. And this is what happens when everyone sits down at a large common table in the evening or when they drink morning coffee in their pajamas. You don't even need a radio here, because we have birds singing, horses neighing, roosters crowing and hens cluck. Here you can stretch out on the grass, watch the clouds and butterflies in the garden, leisurely read books, walk and ride a bike around the area.
Moreover, the municipal calendar of events is very rich and it is worth checking what is happening here in a given month. We have also prepared a map of the area for you so that you can plan interesting trips. And there is something to see, because Lisia Nora is a midwife in the Sokole Góry landscape park. There are many hiking, horse riding and cycling trails near our farm.
What’s there for children?
We do not have a playground, toys or coloring books. When choosing a habitat for a holiday with children, you must remember that there are many animals - farm animals and dogs that run around loosely. Here, we put dogs in the first place and adjust the rhythm of life to them. In the habitat, everyday rural life also takes place (full of equipment that is necessary on a farm), so we invite you with teenagers who respect animals and who are not disturbed by wet dog noses and sand on their feet.
For the more active, we suggest that there are rope parks in Złoty Potok and Olsztyn, there is a beautiful castle in Bobolice, and you can swim in the Porajski Lagoon quite nearby.
