Siedlisko Moje Roje

Forest, meadow, beautiful lake and wild pond, and in this fairytale scenery Siedlisko Moje Roje. We will host you in three wooden houses, with terraces for picturesque sunrises and sunsets. Greenery penetrates the houses on every side, and the surrounding meadow is like a childhood memory. We only provide the houses in their entirety.   The first house "Hobbit" is actually a small, charming, single-storey house (36 m), which used to be a woodshed. Its picturesque location on a hill by a escarpment and forest, determined that it became a home. At the house at the top of the escarpment, there are colorful, mysterious doors to the forest and a table and a hammock for two. You can light a string of lights above the entire escarpment, which will illuminate the area and allow you to use the pizza oven, grill and play ping-pong on the terrace below the top of the escarpment in the evening (this terrace with the oven and ping-pong is for shared use). The Hobbit house is separated from the forest by a smaller woodshed, from where you can get wood for the fireplace within arm's reach. The house is decorated in the style of a Scandinavian cottage, with a touch of boho. You will find in it: 2 rooms with a kitchenette, a bathroom and a small corridor at the entrance. - In the bedroom there is a large, comfortable bed and our favorite, magic window, through which you can admire the mists over the pond and the sunrises piercing through them. Through this window you can also go up the escarpment and go down to the large terrace hanging in the trees. (This is where the magic is:)) - In the second room there is a very functional kitchenette with an oven, a small fridge and the necessary items for cooking and eating. There is also a simple, pressure coffee maker. In this room there is a sofa bed that can be used as a spare place to sleep. In the corner, by the brick wall, lives a cast iron goat, which, after being fed, returns the favor with warmth and brightens the mood. The bathroom is functional and comfortable, with a wide, stepless space for a shower.     The larger "Scandinavian" house is nestled against the forest and meadow. There are: On the first floor: - small eastern bedroom with 2 single beds - southern bedroom - forest - with a large double bed and optionally a cot for a small child - northern bedroom - with four single beds, - small bathroom with washbasin, bidet and toilet, On the ground floor: - spacious (approx. 60m), bright living room with white floor, fireplace, large white table, large and very comfortable corner sofa (when unfolded it can serve as an additional bed), small sofa, piano, TV, CD player. The kitchen is small but functional and well-equipped - with a dishwasher, oven, induction hob, drip coffee maker with coffee grinder, and even a blender. There is also a large fridge with freezer. - bathroom with shower, washbasin, toilet and washing machine. - From the living room we go out onto a large 30m2 terrace, which is a brilliant observation point for wild animals, wind, meadows and sunsets. An awning over the seat with cushions will protect you from the rays. A beautiful, antique piano awaits the musical souls in the house (usually unfortunately out of tune, but you can strum it)

The kitchens in the houses are at your disposal at all times, so even if you get hungry at night, you can sneak into the fridge. An electric hob, kettle, fridge, sink, and coffee machine will help you cook. The dishwasher will take care of dirty dishes. Next to the woodshed, we have built a large barbecue area and a fireplace.   In the summer, you have to try the ice cream from the Smolej family café in Łukta. For 30 years, the Smolej family has been experimenting with flavours such as parsley, basil, chilli pepper, carrot, rhubarb, grapefruit, Antonovka and cranberries. If cooking during your holidays is not your thing, plan a route to these places: In Małdyty, in the "Gospoda pod Kłobukiem", it is said that a kłobuk lives, a demon that looks after the home and property. You can try divine Warmian specialties there and stock up on local delicacies that are available in their shop: fish, cold cuts and cheeses. At Kłobuk you can eat delicious Warmian farszynki, which are potato cutlets stuffed with various fillings, most often meat. Karczma Warmińska in Gietrzwałd serves, among others, heavenly potato sausage with cranberries. In June, Lidzbark Warmiński hosts an event for those who love cheese above all else - the Farm and Traditional Cheese Festival "Czas na ser". For cheese lovers, we also recommend the excellent Kozia Farma in Złotna, near Morąg. Our hit, however, is Bar "Olśnienie" - a small delicatessen in Morąg, which sells very tasty and affordable takeaway dishes from the restaurant in Bogaczewo. We often stock up here when we don't feel like cooking or don't have time. The selection of dishes is really big - homemade pancakes, pierogi, zucchini pancakes, potato pancakes, salads, soups, fish, bigos and many different types of meat and poultry dishes.

For those who love holidays - recreation we have prepared: - two bikes: women's and men's, - two kayaks: double and single, - wooden raft, - two rowing boats, - table tennis set, - comets, - boules, - hammocks, - boomerang and lawn mower. We can also boast our own wild pond, which has become a beaver reserve and home for ducks, and a private shoreline of the lake with a pier and boats. There is a lot to visit, because the lake has over 1,200 ha and as many as 19 islands! You must know that our Narie is a lake of first class purity with a silence zone like a fish. In the vicinity of Kretowiny there is a school of water sports and water equipment rental. The area around the lake is very popular among runners, and every summer there is a 33 km nationwide run for the Crystal Pearl of Narie Lake. For diving enthusiasts, we recommend a trip to the famous Lake Wuksniki, a favorite place of lovers of underwater adventures. (It's only about 20 minutes by car from our habitat.) On the other hand, we recommend trips around our Oberland, Warmia, Powiśle and Masuria regions to globetrotters. We have quite a lot of historical attractions and regional flavors here. And in close proximity to Nowe Kawkowo and the famous Lawendowe Pole, a fairy-tale lavender plantation and the Living Museum of Lavender. Get excited about sightseeing or lavender workshops where you will learn how to make natural cosmetics or learn a recipe for lavender cake. There is also an art gallery and a pottery workshop in Nowe Kawkowo. Be sure to be interested in the wonderful initiative under which we sign our hands and feet, that is, "Art in the Workaround". What is it about? Several villages, with backyard and home galleries, exhibitions, handicraft workshops, concerts, performances - all this can be seen during a three-day wandering around the Jonkowo commune. The whole neighborhood turns into a gallery. The trail of galleries scattered between Godki, Pupki, Węgajty, Nowy Kawkowo, Stary Kawkowo, Szałstra, Skolity and Bałąg. This is a sensation you should take part in.
