At a glance
Mormons once settled in the village of Zełwągi. The last of them left at a time when we were just about to be born. Their last name was Konietz and their departure was like a final sign that something had just ended here. After the Mormons, however, something remained. The commandment of a healthy life, love in the family, respect for nature and all the surrounding nature, which seems to ignore any arrivals and departures, even the final ones. One could venture to say that nature does not care for us humans one bit, although it points out that we owe it respect.
We live here together, in a friendly ecosystem: people, sheep, cats and a dog. Spruces rustle, smell and look down at us. There is simply a pond, there are fish in it, grass above it, blue skies above the grass, a whole forest next to it, and a lake around the corner.
And we are here, welcome guests with enthusiasm, hug the dog, the dog hugs us, we offer you a room, if you need us, we're downstairs, come later for a coffee, we will tell you everything. We will show you our sheep, these warm blankets, maybe we can knit or crochet together. We have five rooms for you, we respect nature, warmth in winter, shade in summer and we are ready to share it all. We invite you.

We are on-site, we give our guests space and intimacy, but we're always ready to help
This is not a story about people who leave the big city for a life in the countryside. We have never left it completely and probably never will, because why and where, when here is everything that truly pleases us: nature, peace, simplicity and time for handicraft.
It all started with the spruces, which could only be saved by buying the entire habitat and with this one sentence by Mark Twain: "Twenty years from now you will regret more the things you didn't do than the ones you did do. So untie the ropes, leave the safe haven. Catch the fair winds in your sails. Travel, dream, discover."
One house became two, but the intimacy is still the same, maybe even more interesting. We invite you to visit us and for what we create here.
