First of all, we have a large terrace with a grill and atmospheric lighting, where wine tastes like nowhere else, there is also a fireplace and a four-person sauna. Sometimes that's all it takes to slow down and enjoy your escape from the city. Speaking of wine, Roztocze has its own small (even pre-war) vineyards, so it is worth trying the local grape varieties.
If you want to move, in summer it is worth going on a kayaking trip on the Paary-Rebizanty section because you can see a beautiful landscape of fallen trees, beaver dams, forests, tobacco fields and meadows. An interesting solution for exploring the area is bicycle trips and hiking trails. One of the most famous sections of the Szumów trail is the route from the car park in Rebizanty along the river to the clearing next to the shop aptly named "Gargamel". During the walk, you can admire the main attraction of the region - rock steps on the Tanew River creating picturesque cascades. They call them "noise" or "chirp" because of the sound of falling water.
In Roztocze there is a strip of Soviet fortifications (the Molotov Bunkers Line) along the former demarcation line with the Third Reich. Most of the bunkers can be entered, but you must have the appropriate equipment and knowledge. To see some of them, we recommend hiking to the highest peak in the area: Wielki Dział.
Beer lovers will be interested in the building of the Brewery in Zwierzyniec, founded by Stanisław Kostka Zamoyski at the beginning of the 19th century. In the beginning, English porter-type beer was brewed in the buildings. Currently, Zwierzyniec beer is brewed in the brewery, which can also be tasted in the bar located on the premises of the plant. In Zwierzyniec, there is also an ideal place for swimming and walking - Echo Ponds located among forests. There is a wooden footbridge around them, and a sandy beach by the shore.
Right next to the Ukrainian border, in Radruż, there is the most beautiful church complex in Poland from 1583 (on the UNESCO list) - the wooden church of St. Paraskeva. Bełżec, Tomaszów Lubelski, Krasnobród and Górecko Kościelne should also be on your list!
Even if you've never tried cross-country skiing, you definitely should come to our area. Tomaszów Lubelski is the capital of cross-country skiing in the Lubelskie Voivodeship, and cross-country skiing is one of the most intuitive sports disciplines, so even the most reluctant ones should be able to cope.
