Sosnowy Zakątek

In a wooden house in the small Masurian village of Zyzdrojowy Piecek. It neighbors the Zyzdrój Wielki Lake, which gave it its name. Sosnowy Zakątek is located at its western end, in the Piska Forest. The house is designed for 8 people (up to 6 adults and 2 children can comfortably fit). It consists of 3 bedrooms, a bathroom with shower and bathtub, a living room with a fireplace and an open kitchen. Two bedrooms have a double bed and a single bed, and the third one has a double bed. Additionally, there is a travel cot for a small child. With children in mind, there is also a toy corner for young and old. In the house you will find many elements that will make your stay pleasant (a bookcase, wood for the fireplace, capsule coffee machine and such simple but useful things as a hair dryer or dishes for children). At the back of the house there is a terrace with a prepared table for family dinners under the cloud and sun loungers for siesta.

The kitchen is fully equipped, you can cook at will. There you will find an induction hob, oven, fridge, kettle and toaster. There are pots, pans and dishes and a coffee machine with capsules. The nearest grocery store is 2 km away from the cottage. There are several pubs in the area that I can recommend with pleasure: - Stanica Wodna Babięta - the place is accessible both from the water (the Krutynia River) and from the mainland (access via a picturesque road through the forest). There you can eat delicious blueberry dumplings or fresh fish while watching the cranes wading in the river's pool. Climate typical of a riverside riverside hostel in the 1980s. - the famous Potocki restaurant in Gałków. It is a magical place full of family memorabilia and aromas of home cooking with a hint of modern elegance. Always fresh food and a great atmosphere. The proximity of the horse farm does not allow you to get bored between meals and makes it possible to spend many hours in this place. - Oberża Pod Psem in Kadzidłów, in the immediate vicinity of the Wild Animal Park. It is a tiny restaurant with a fantastic, artistic vibe. Homemade food, delicious, like at grandma's. Seasonal dishes, always fresh. Number 1 in my opinion is pancakes with butterscotch and cocoa. In addition, there is a mini open-air museum next to the restaurant, where you can spend a nice afternoon traveling back in time;)

Boredom is not foreseen at this point on the map. Unless it is an obligatory point on your "must do" list, then you will surely be able to wake up a bit in a hammock, staring at the gaps in the sky between the tree tops. Otherwise, we have a handful of useful information for you: - The Pisz Forest is a beautiful area for walks with lots of hiking paths and a paradise for mushroom pickers. There are also bicycle routes nearby: the red Juranda loop and the blue Lanca loop. On the other side of the lake, there is the Krutyn Bicycle Trail - if you like cycling, you will be in cloud nine. - in a quarter of an hour, walking through the forest, you can reach the nearest lake - Zyzdrój Wielki. The second lake with a sandy beach, Świętajno, can be reached in 10 minutes by car or 20 minutes by bike along the post-German forest road. - about 1 km from the house there is a foundation that looks after animals and runs a mini zoo. Horses and ponies live there and you can ride it. There are also horse-drawn carriage rides and sleigh rides in winter. - 2 km separate the hut from the canoe rental in Babięta, which also organizes rafting trips on Krutynia - the river that is famous for one of the most beautiful Masurian routes. It is also worth knowing a few things about the house itself and its surroundings: - you will find there a few pleasant time: hammocks, deckchairs, comfortable cushions to sit at the table on the terrace, wood for the fireplace, a guide to the area, board games - there are also adult and toddler bikes at your disposal, as well as badminton equipment - next to the house, we have created a comfortable place for long, evening bonfires
