If we were to list three characteristics of Stara Szkoła w Harszu, they would be storks, a 300-year-old building and a pretty good kitchen. Of course, later we would also add that we have a lake right under our nose, that it is incredibly quiet here, that we paint with artists and we have our own gallery. We would highlight the extraordinary bike paths, and then invite guests in the winter. Winter in Masuria is phenomenal. We would add that we have a fireplace, extremely comfortable armchairs and we would refer back to the kitchen again. Not too bad! We invite you to the vicinity of Węgorzewo. We are here all year round.

Here Slowhop will describe your place

Host:
Ania i Pan Grzegorz
Ania - a translator by profession, Mr. Grzegorz - a firefighter, horse riding instructor and member of the Polish Association of Racing Pigeon Breeders. We both landed in Harsz and for years we have been discovering together the pleasure of being hosts of an extraordinary old school turned into a guesthouse. We rule in the kitchen (as a vegetarian champion and the king of traditional Polish cuisine). We run with dogs, cycle kilometers, organize events, open-air events, yoga camps, and receive guests. We have four cats, one dog, carrier pigeons, and in the summer a flock of storks. We invite you.

As a rule, we do not respect food scrap. We respect slowfood, we like to cook what is good and bring only decent products here. We make preserves ourselves. We have a nose for seasonal natural goods, we grow our own organic greengrocer, we high five with local growers. In terms of dietary preferences, everyone grows their own plot: Ania: a vegetarian for 30 years - she cooks mainly vegan. Mr. Grzegorz - traditional cuisine and only good meat. We invite you for breakfast from 9.00 to 11.00. and dinner at 18.00.

Here Slowhop will describe your food. If you want, you can also fill it in or edit the text.

Northern Masuria has a lot to offer. Our Top 5 is: 1. trail of the Great Masurian Lakes, which begins and ends in Węgorzewo 2. The Ściborska Republic with the museum of Indians and Eskimos and the possibility of a masters course 3. Pyramid in Rapa - a magical place where power lines are said to cross 4. Zabrost Wielki - an unusual, old village with preserved Masurian architecture 5. The Headquarters of the German Land Forces in Mamerki And on the spot? - lake available - bicycles (Eastern Bicycle Trail from Elbląg-Rzeszów (2000 km). The Old School has the status of a Cyclist-Friendly Place.) - running (preferably in the forest) - winter sports (Masuria is great in winter: sleigh rides, cross-country skiing, ice skating on the lake, ski slopes near Giżycko and in Gołdap, hiking trails, a bonfire by the lake and many others) - pedal boats and kayaks (rafting on Sapina or Węgorapa) - sails (several places worth recommending in our area) - fishing (in Lake Harsz) - painting (we have the mood here) - reading (a very rich library)

Here Slowhop will describe your attractions. If you want, you can also fill it in or edit the text.
