Welcome to the former Free City of Gdańsk, in Otomin, which is a pleasant walk (about 1 km) from the borders of Gdańsk, a quick journey by car or city bus, and has nothing to do with the city. In the surrounding forests, on Lake Otomińskie and in the nearby peat bogs, you can hear the echo of the call of the young knight Otomin, who has been looking for his beloved - Odmina's water nymph for centuries. We haven't seen him yet, but you can come across a carnivorous sundew during your walks, which is also a pretty good attraction.
First, the parents took care of everything, now we give them time for a well-deserved retirement, and their adult children are taking on the call to action. We look into pots and together with the seasons we arrange the menu in the Tabun Restaurant, explore the secrets of cider production, because we are especially proud of it, bake bread, compose picnic baskets, marinate herring and dry the local mushrooms. So it's tasty and that's important to us. Horses and the entire animal menagerie are also important, and you can get to know them on the spot.
For us, everything has its place here. Tabun is a restaurant, a horse riding center and a house with five rooms. If you are looking for a breath of fresh air in a green area near Gdańsk - then that's just where we are. If you want to eat something good, you will find it here. A family celebration in a beautiful setting? It's also possible here with us. But if you're looking for complete seclusion where the silence is broken only by a concert of frogs, go to a more secluded place. Here, as is the case outside the city, a bit more is happening ...

Not only do you look good in photos with your family. The family business is also very well run. Now Tabun is a whole complex which includes a stud farm, a restaurant, a small "hotel" and a craft cider factory. However, it all started in 1983, when the doyens of the family: Barbara and Paweł bought land in Otomin near Gdańsk with the intention of building a house and settling there. Dreams came true thanks to the hard work of parents, so new ones were created. Have at least one horse, because these areas are begging for a gallop. Instead of a solitary mount, there is a stud with still developing infrastructure. We share the responsibilities equally. The equestrian center is run by my brother Filip. Sister Kasia is a saddle master and caretaker of Apartamenty Gdański Gród. Together with my husband, Michał, we run a restaurant, a cider house, and recently also a guesthouse, which was previously taken care of by my parents.
Tabun is our place on earth that we love and strive to constantly improve. Although we love traveling in our free time, we always come back here, to Otomin and we keep an eye on everything. We like surfing, the one on the Baltic Sea, even in winter, and the one on warmer waters, although kids absorb us the most. 6-year-old Helena and 3-year-old Gaweł and his peer dog Piorun. As a family, we invite you to the habitat with a view of the horses.
