Targoszówka - Stary Dom

There are several farms in Polana Wielkie Błoto, surrounded by a forest. One of them is Targoszówka - a habitat consisting of three buildings: the barn which is our home, the Old Barn and the Old House. The Old House measures 120 m2. They say that it is a typical "grandmother's house" - it is idyllic and rural. We have restored the ground floor, keeping as much as possible of the original, so sometimes the clay crumbles here and there, and its crumbs fall off the walls painted with lime and land on the floor. This is our atmosphere. On the ground floor there is a kitchen, a living room, two corridors, a bathroom and a bedroom with a double bed and its own bathroom. We have also arranged the attic, which now houses two comfortable bedrooms (each with one double bed and one single bed). A small hall in the attic is a great place to relax for kids on rainy days. Long mornings smoothly turning into lazy afternoons can be spent on the covered porch or in the yard in front of the cottage. You will also find a place for a bonfire with grill. On the terrace there is a table with chairs, there is also a hammock, sun loungers and two rocking chairs.

You can laze around here or explore the forest. Homely entertainment reigns here - we have badminton equipment, and on our 3 hectares you can lie down on a blanket among the grass, sunbathe on a deckchair or have a family picnic. We also provide access to our private pond where you can swim. On one side there is a small beach with a gentle descent into the water, and on the other there is a floating jetty from which your children can happily jump on the bomb. Time flows differently in the habitat, and the surrounding nature is amazing and attracts the attention of even hardened city dwellers. We are in the heart of the forest, and therefore we have the best possible conditions for exploring it. The Niepołomice Forest is full of trails and roads, both gravel and asphalt. You can explore it by bike or on foot. We recommend, for example, a trip to Czarny Staw, located in the eastern part of the Forest (about 11 km from the cottage). According to our calculations, it takes 36 minutes to get there by bike and about 2 hours one way on foot. In the closer vicinity of Targoszówka there are several pools, nice to look at, but you cannot swim in them, we warn you. However, if you want to cool off on a warm day, you can ride to Bobrowe Rozlewisko (about 20 minutes by bike). It is a reservoir prepared for locals and tourists, there is a guarded beach, a restaurant, an attraction park for children, and outdoor exercise equipment for adults. There is also a separate pool for anglers, where they can enjoy their hobby in peace. Admission is paid. From our place, it is also a stone's throw to Niepołomice (a stone's throw in this case is 8 km). There it is worth seeing the castle where kings stayed when they came to the forest for hunting. Niepołomice may also be of interest to cyclists and cycling enthusiasts - this is where the picturesque bicycle route begins (or ends), which leads along the Vistula River, from Niepołomice through Kraków, to the Abbey in Tyniec. The one-way route is approximately 40 km. You can always go to the city from Puszcza - Krakow is 20 minutes away. It is also close to the salt mines in Wieliczka and Bochnia, so our place is also a good base for visiting the wonders of Małopolska.
