Hello from Zakopane, we're your local correspondents - the Zubek family. Enthusiasts of nature, outdoor activities, ecology and Podhale. Due to the origin and love of highlanders, we may not be too objective, but we know that the satisfaction of our guests speaks for itself. "It is simply great to rest here, at any time of the year. And it is always a pity to leave here" - these are the voices we hear. And we do not argue with that.
We owe these oohs and ahs to a space devoted to nature, where only two of our "green" houses stand. Green only figuratively, because they hide a lot of solutions to protect the environment. We developed them together, as a family, because nature is not indifferent to us. By creating a place of rest for you, we wanted, above all, to take care of Mother Nature for current and future generations. Thanks to the commitment of the whole family, responsible solutions and a pinch of highlander temperament, this unique place on the map of Zakopane was created - the first fully environmentally friendly houses - Tatra Green House.
They do not have chimneys because they are mainly powered by the sun thanks to photovoltaics. The heat is provided by a heat pump, and the antiallergic environment is provided by air filters. The houses are equipped with a thorough micro-filtration of the ventilation air, therefore allergy sufferers may stay with us in the summer among a flowering meadow and during hay mowing, and in winter smog is not allowed inside. We have provided our guests with electric cars with a free charging station. We would like to thank those who, like us, care about the future of the planet, respect water resources, do not generate waste, reduce energy consumption and live in harmony with nature. We reward such heroes with discounts on renting houses. Those who come to Zakopane by train and use their own legs, bicycles and public transport to move around the area also deserve a discount.
In the spring, summer and Polish golden autumn, we ensure contact with nature and we guarantee that meals on the terrace among the meadows will taste the best in the world. For rainy and cold days there are board games, a library, and for those who prefer to spend time outside regardless of the weather, we have nature activities, a playground and lots of ideas for trips. On-site, you can count on our support as specialists in the Tatra Mountains. Bartek is a Tatra guide and an employee of the Tatra National Park, and our whole family loves mountain trips. For lovers of two-wheels, we will recommend where to go on a bike, and we will show skiers the best routes. Sledge lovers can also count on the expert knowledge of our daughters. We will tell you where to climb, where to go for a walk, and we will even accompany you in your struggle to the top.

Bartek is a Tatra guide and an employee of the Tatra National Park, and the whole family loves mountain trips. We will be happy to help you plan hiking, cycling and skiing routes, and sometimes we can even accompany you. We have been here in our native land for over five generations. We care for it, show its beauty and priceless values. We adhere to eco-tourism and we try to prevent Mother Nature from suffering because of us.
