At a glance
On a small gravel road on the edge of two Masurian villages, trees reflect on the surface of Buwełno Lake, dragonflies are the size of helicopters, and there are houses for those who respect tradition and value modern minimalism. On a bench, just like a few generations ago, contemplators of the present moment sit sipping local beer and talking about life. Above the stove, mushrooms dry on strings, mornings start with a bicycle trip to the shop, and evenings end on the bridge to the accompaniment of crickets and the clap of cranes.
The concept for Ublik was nature, simplicity, minimalism, design. Without plastic and excessive colours. It was our way of protesting against fences and intrusive interference in space. That is why the grass is a bit wild, not evenly cut, in some places a meadow as it was before we came here, a sea of flowers, a few weeds.
The small, black cottage overlooking the moraine hills and the lake will comfortably accommodate 4 people. Here, rest is a different kind of being active: swimming, fishing at sunrise, rafting along the trail of lakes on hot days, cycling trips along the Masurian wilderness. We put at your disposal a private pier, canoes, a boat and bicycles. Silence around, no neighbours, uncluttered space and wonderful views. For the weekend, for holidays, in the low season.
PS Ublik Green & Black is part of Ublik Green & Wind, on the opposite side of the gravel road. The black cottage stands all by itself, in the middle of green meadows, on a hill - for nature lovers and retreat lovers, it is just perfect.

Ublik means change for us—a change of pace, priorities, mood, perspective. We work and travel a lot every day, so here we reduce speed, slow down the rush, eliminate the number of stimuli. We are not the lounging types, so slowing down is more a transition into a different state of activity - the physical one, which allows you to sit down to dinner after a long day, without any remorse about excess calories, in a romantic mood by the fireplace with wine and music. Masuria is the best place for this, we know this because we have been doing it for many years. We would like to invite everyone to Masuria and encourage you to take short and longer trips in spring, summer and autumn. We invite you, Paweł and Monika.
