It started with a pastry shop. It's a company that comes from the family tree. It is 109 years old, we have been running it for 32 years. Then there was cafe Miód Malina, which I established in Wisełka opposite an old, climatic villa. Its long history captivated me. Built in the 1930s, the building served as an orphanage for girls. Later, there was an office there, and then it became housing for teachers. After a few years of running a café, the villa was put up for sale. It became my home. A place that I love and transform into a home that others can use. When you enter it, you will see an old wooden staircase that reminds you of its amazing life.
Villa Miód Malina is located in the wonderful village of Wisełka on the island of Wolin, between the sea and the lakes. We are open for you from May to September, when you can fully enjoy the charms of this place. The house is surrounded by the Wolin National Park. It takes 15 minutes to walk to the sea, 5 minutes to walk to the lake (maps show slightly longer distances - they do not know our shortcuts...). It is close to Miedzyzdroje and Swinoujscie, but believe me - you will not miss those crowded places. The local nature delights, the sea calms you, forests soothe your nerves. We have a bulldog that unfortunately does not accept its rivals - neither dogs nor cats. So we are sorry, but we can not host your pets.
Come, I will tell you more and treat you to a tincture of elderberry.
In an intimate Villa with a long history. It was decorated in bright colors, soothing the nerves and conducive to effective relaxation. The house has marine elements of decor and you will certainly feel that you are by the sea, even before you see the water surface. They say that the interiors are like from a catalog and there is something to it - I like to take care of the details. So that the bedding smells and you feel luxurious.
Important! The house is seasonal, we operate from May to September 10.
The common areas are a reading corner in the gazebo, a communal kitchen and a garden with a gazebo. The guesthouse has an intimate character, a maximum of 18 people can stay there at the same time. There are several rooms with bathrooms to choose from:
The rooms are not air-conditioned
- Błękitne Niebo - studio for 2 people with a double bed
- Piasek Bałtyku - two rooms for 2 people (one double) in the second room a non-foldable sofa - Relaks Letni - for two people (2 single beds)
- Spokojny Sen - for 2 people (double bed)
- Wschód Słońca - for 3 people (2x double bed)
- Morski Klimat - apartment for 4 people (double bed and corner sofa)
Each room has a kettle, glasses and cups, towels, a hair dryer. Some also have a fridge.
The villa is located in the center of the village. There are cafes and restaurants nearby, and a fish fryery across the street
In the public kitchen, everyone can prepare breakfast and dinner. Meals on sunny days can be eaten in the garden gazebo. In the fridge, each guest has a shelf for themselves, and in the shelf a basket for their products. We have a zero waste rule in the kitchen: if you have any food left, you can leave it on the shelf designated for this purpose in the fridge and dry things in the shelf. The kitchen is small and not adapted for cooking dinners, rather for heating.
In the evening, you can use the shelf with wines and stronger drinks. The rule is: drink and have fun, and then put a full bottle in the same place at any time. In the evening, she prepares for you, for example, bread with homemade lard, I will also pickle cucumbers for you, sometimes I will prepare mackerel paste from the local smokehouse, and even prepare an evening with liqueurs. Something will definitely please you There is an espresso machine in the gazebo, and morning coffee with birdsong is a real pleasure. Nearby there are two fish fryers and several restaurants. For sweets and delicious, freshly squeezed juices, we invite you to our cafe, which is located opposite the Villa. In the summer, there are of course waffles and ice cream, not only in traditional flavors (maybe parsley or... beetroot will tempt you!). We also serve sandwiches from 8.15.
There are two local products that (apart from fresh fish!) we highly recommend. The first is buns from the seasonal bakery (open only in July and August). They are so delicious that you just need to spread some good butter on them and the feast is ready. To say that they are fresh and good is an understatement. Poetry of taste!
Sea, lakes and national park all around. Can you get bored in such circumstances? Here are some of the many possibilities the area has to offer:
- sunbathing and splashing in the sea (we have screens available)
- fishing (several lakes to choose from, equipment rental nearby)
- boat trips
- meeting with the King of the Forest - a bison reserve just 2 km from Wisełka
- (in summer) participation in the annual Slavs and Vikings Festival in Wolin (20km)
- bicycle trips - Wolin National Park has a very varied landscape, which is extremely pleasant to get to know on two wheels. If you don't have your own bikes, don't worry - you can rent them at the nearby Perła hotel.
- Turquoise Lake, famous for its unusual color, in the village of Wapnica (17 km) - one of the most interesting views of the island of Wolin
I recommend the viewpoint Grodzisko Lubin za Międzyzdroje, the view is stunning, you can eat a fish, drink a cup of coffee on a deckchair.
In our garden you will always find hammocks, rocking chairs and a nicely shaded gazebo where you can relax after an eventful day.
What’s there for children?
The kids will not be bored with us. First of all, we have two beaches here - the seaside one and the one by the lake. You can choose the color. When you get bored of playing in the sand and splashing in the sea, you can go to Lake Wisełka and at the Krawczyk marina you can rent a boat for trips with the parent-captain.
There is a playground in front of the guesthouse.
It is a great idea to take the kids on a trip to the bison reserve. It is only 2 km away from Wisełka. The king of the forest delights children as much as adults… and maybe even more.
The kids will also like the proposal to meet the real Vikings;) The Slavs and Vikings Festival is held in Wolin every year at the turn of July and August (moving dates, you need to check).
