For years, we had ideas in our minds to create a place where people will feel at home. For over a dozen years we collected old, antique furniture, hoping that eventually, they will find their home. And so in mid-2018 we were able to buy an inconspicuous house in our Lower Silesian town where we have lived for years. Each day we discovered new possibilities. We started the renovation with great enthusiasm, completely independently. Without the help of an architect and detailed design and plan, we step by step revamped every room. A part of the house was an undeveloped barn, which we converted into a shared area of agritourism and 5 rooms on the first and second floor. The remaining space has also undergone a general renovation. We have designated completely new rooms, which we have developed for another 5 rooms.
Wood was our main focus when designing the house. You will find it everywhere. Old floor, which was created from centuries-old logs from the demolition of a local house. But also, which makes us very happy, we have managed to preserve and restore a large part of the original beams in the rooms. Of course, the house had to have a fireplace and a tiled stove, which were created by a local potter.
Our family's dream was to create a friendly and cosy place where everyone can feel at home. We focus on integration and spending time with our guests. We serve delicious breakfasts using local products, create fruit preserves from the garden ourselves, built an outdoor oven to make our own bread and experiment with vegetarian recipes. In the afternoon, at a shared table, we serve a 2-course dinner and start talking about everything and nothing. That's how we like it. Truly, without rush and with all our heart.
It's the perfect place for people who want to take a break from the hustle and bustle and make new friends. Come with friends, families, animals and kids. Discover Kolorowe Jeziorka (colourful lakelets) hidden in the forest, learn the secret of Bolczów Castle and admire the unusual rock formations of the Rudawski Landscape Park.
In a village in the heart of Rudawy Janowickie, in a restored 100-year-old house. After years of making plans for agritourism, we finally dared to take a step forward and that's how Wieściszówka was created. We renovated the house ourselves, and our guiding principle when designing the house was wood. Old floors, wooden furniture, original ceiling beams. We saved everything that could be saved. The traditional Lower Silesian house could not miss a fireplace and a tiled stove, which were created by a local stove fitter. The interiors are cozy and homey, and the bathrooms are modern. Wood combined with white walls creates a unique atmosphere and warmth in the rooms.
You will not find TV sets in any of our rooms. We decided that Wieściszówka is a place where every guest should take a break from the hustle and bustle of the city, grab a good book and forget about the surrounding reality for a while.
At the disposal of our guests we provide:

We invite you with pets.
P.S. Since the Colorful Lakelets have become famous throughout Lower Silesia and not only, our town gets quite crowded in the season and on weekends. However, there is a large garden around Wieściszówka, hidden behind leaves and a fence, which makes it a nice enclave from the rest of the world :)
We serve home and local cuisine. We are young and we do a little bit of combining, experimenting and introducing veg options. We will satisfy the hunger of both vegetarians and people who like meat meals.
In the morning, we will wrap you up with a nutritious breakfast using local products from suppliers we know, and in the afternoon we will sit down to a 2-course dinner at the common table.
On the breakfast table you will always find 8-9 different dishes to choose from in the form of a Swedish table. Everyone will find something delicious for themselves :)
For dinner, we will entertain you with a nutritious, delicious soup and a full second course ... but take it easy, we haven't forgotten about the dessert. We love to bake, so the dessert is always home-made cake (warm, straight into the oven!).
We love to spend time in the kitchen preparing meals for you and we promise that no one will leave us hungry :)
In the dining room you will find a coffee machine and a large number of teas to choose from. They are available for you all day long.
Around the house we have a beautiful, large garden with blueberries, strawberries, raspberries, plums and apples. Of course, we use them for meals - cakes or pancakes, but also for preserves.
We usually go vegetarian for breakfast, inspired by new recipes. The following are landing on the table:
- veggie pates,
- pastes: bean, egg-free, hummus,
- bread from a local bakery.
We have eggs from our neighbor Ania, who breeds chickens for her own use. Unfortunately, it is not always able to collect enough for us, so we use purchases, but only from ecological farming.
We love mushrooms and we also serve them often. We are particularly good at pasta with boletus or risotto, and scrambled eggs with mushrooms are the perfect breakfast option.
It is with great pleasure that we buy cheese in the village of Kamienna Góra, about 15 km away from us, in the KaMos Dairy Cooperative.
We have honey from our beloved grandfather Staś, who comes to us every weekend with a new product and leaves the honey for sale. It really has many kinds (including very healthy and rare honeydew). & Nbsp;
In our cellar, apart from raspberry preserves, you will find tinctures that we bravely squeeze by hand for you every year. Our hit is the blackcurrant tincture that grows in the garden. But we also encourage you to try raspberries, blackberries and mirabelle plum. It is also a great option for a gift for your loved ones or a gift from a trip or holiday :)
You can't get bored in this place, believe us. At home you will find plenty of places to rest and relax - we especially recommend the fireplace room and spending the evening with tea or wine in hand. A book and board games will also be good choices.
For our guests, we provide a large 1 ha private pond with a beautiful beach. The pond is located about 1.5 km from Wieściszówka itself. Good fun and complete relaxation in this quiet and charming place are guaranteed.
The location of the house in the heart of Rudawy Janowickie gives each of you a lot of opportunities to spend your free time, especially outdoors. In the immediate vicinity there are many walking, running, Nordic walking and cycling trails. For people who like to spend time actively, it is a good choice.
And in winter, it is the perfect place to bring your cross-country skiing equipment and downhill skis. But where to go next, what to visit? We already tell you.
In the first place, we suggest a walk to the Colorful Lakelets, which are 400 meters higher. It is worth going and checking out the lakes, which were created in the place of excavations of former German mines.
Project Arado - Hitler's Lost Laboratory in Kamienna Góra - we especially recommend to enthusiasts of World War II, but children will definitely not be bored there. During the guided tour you will learn very interesting things about this place.
The Valley of Palaces and Gardens - a complex of 30 beautiful residences, located at the foot of the Karkonosze Mountains. While visiting the palaces, you can drink delicious coffee or eat a cake in many of them.
Krzeszów Abbey - a complex of world-class monuments dating back to the 13th century. Abbey called "European Baroque Pearl".
Książ Castle - was built at the end of the 13th century, in the years 1288-1292. It is one of the largest castles both in Poland and in Europe. We especially recommend visiting the stables in the castle.
What’s there for children?
Of course, we have not forgotten about your children. At home, we have created a children's corner, where you will find a lot of board games, a drawing board, crayons and coloring books. For older ones, we recommend table football. The house is surrounded by a huge garden where the little ones can have a good time playing football. We encourage small and large children to pick fruit straight from the bush - this is how they taste best. Hands will be dirty and sticky from the fruit juice of blueberries, strawberries, raspberries, plums and apples, but guaranteed fun.
What’s there for employees?
Exchange your gray office for an agro one, where the rooms smell of wood, the table bends with delicious local food, and you can spend the afternoons relaxing in the sauna. We have common spaces at your disposal, but there is a risk of disturbers. The dining room, apart from serving meals, can also be used as a workplace thanks to a very large table. In the living room you will find 3 separate tables and several comfortable sofas. For a video call that requires silence and privacy, we invite you to a table in the room. After finishing your more or less nice tasks, we invite you to the pond or for further exploration of the area.
